TERRY MALLOY:It wasn't him, Charley, it was you. Remember that night in the Garden you came down to my dressing room and you said, "Kid, this ain't your night. We're going for the price on Wilson." You remember that? "This ain't your night"! My night! I coulda taken Wilson apart! So what happens? He gets the title shot outdoors on the ballpark and what do I get? A one-way ticket to Palooka-ville! You was my brother, Charley, you shoulda looked out for me a little bit. You shoulda taken care of me just a little bit so I wouldn't have to take them dives for the short-end money.

CHARLEY MALLOY: Oh I had some bets down for you. You saw some money.
TERRY MALLOY: You don't understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been someone Charley, instead of a bum, which is what I am, let's face it. I'm a bum. It was you, Charley.

"Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue."
Lloyd Brides in Airplane

Thanks, the scene is a classic and actually a statement that goes a long way towards teaching us how brothers should not treat each other. Filming the human condition was Elia Kazan's forte, and no one could expose raw human emotion on the screen better than he.

IMHO. wil.

Wil,Did you ever see Kazan's "Amerika,Amerika?"Great flick and the true story of his uncle.Even though Kazan named names,he was a great director.

IMO, One of the most quotable and best screenplays of all time...Glengarry Glen Ross (if you loved Ben Afflecks character in 'Boiler Room' then get the original played by Alec Baldwin in GGR):

"Put that coffee down. Coffee's for closers only. You think I'm ****ing with you? I am not ****ing with you. I'm here from downtown. I'm here from Mitch and Murray. And I'm here on a mission of mercy."

"...'Cause were adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anybody want to see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired!"

"**** you! That's my name. You know why mister? Cause you drove a Hyundai to get here tonight. I drove an eighty thousand dollar BMW. That's my name. And your name is you're wanting. If you can't play in the man's game, you can't close them, you go home and tell your wife your troubles. Because only one thing counts in this life: get them to sign on the line which is dotted. You here me you ****ing faggots?"

"They're sitting out there waiting to give you their money. Are you going to take it? Are you man enough to take it?"

--- Alec Baldwin 'GGR'

The one from "It's a Wonderful Life" that George Bailey uses to stop the run on the bank.

The same one the sportsbooks use to explain why they can't pay us right away.

The one about "____, your money is not just sitting right here. It's invested in Frank's house, Jim's cab company....".

Except in the case of our sportsbooks, it is often invested in whores and blow.

All the same I guess, I donno..

"Honey, I got a yammy full of Georgia jujus..."

Tulips (2lips?) from The Shield after Shane tried to put her away after ****ing her in the interrogation room.

"I didn't know we had the Spice channel in here!"

Chiklis from the same scene busting Shane...

Even though every single line in "Animal House" is quotable, one of my all time favorites is when Eric Stratton says "You f*cked up. You trusted us." to Flounder. Absolute classic.

Nice call on the Neighbors reference DickyW!
