Oops-what was I thinking in previous post as we already know the 3*rated play for late game as it was released yesterday:

Well not all that shocking, after winning its 4 1/2* GOY yesterday, NC loses its 3* unit rated play today

on UNDER Seattle.

This brings the record for the post season to a not so hot 1-3 or MINUS 5.95 units

Rest be assured though that on comp. line tomorrow Todd will simply quickly admit that they lost yesterday not admit the above and then dutifully do what Phil Steele

has ordered him to do, namely tell us that NC is still 14-5-1 over the last three years in NFL Playoffs(a lie in itself is record as documented is 13-5-1).

Also what is evident is that NC will have to win tonight on Monday if they have a star rated play in tonight's College Championship in order to avoid

yet another LOSING WEEK, which would make it FIVE WINNING WEEKS and if you can believe it, FOURTEEN LOSING WEEKS combined college and pro

for the SEASON!!

Consider this.

I am sure Todd is going to do a big time pump for tonight's College Championship Game.

What is telling is that using PowerSweep and PowerPlay Newsletters, we already know that their picks are going to be Clemson and over.

Thus the question is why would anyone want to pay more money simply to find out what the ratings are and which play will be designated at the star

rated play and which the Marquees.

For me this is an example of Phil Steele/NC's greed and stupidity biting them in the ass and giving them a taste of their own medicine!

Today's comp. message is pretty much a wash as far as honesty goes.

Todd recaps yesterday and the entire weekend accurately.

For a welcome change he doesn't try to hide the overall 1-3 record with the Late Phones so far in the NFL Playoffs by using the positive record

for the three years prior to this.

On the other hand he doesn't admit the 1-3 record either.

I guess overall and all things considered, I would give a very slight edge to his being slightly more honest than usual.

The usual Monday night pricing and "guarantee" for the Monday Night Magic Play is in effect as well as the usual pricing for the Marquees.

This of course only applies to those born yesterday and/or do not own a computer, etc. who do not know already that NC will be on Clemson and OVER

tonight.

THE COMP. TODAY IS A 3* FROM THE FAKE/NON EXISTENT SERVICE ACCUPICS IN THE NBA ON MINNESOTA + 2 1/2.

ps I will be back later with some brief commentary re: the ext. 4 comp. once it is released for those who have been following.

ps I can't day with 100% certainty but I am 99% sure from my discontinued thread at CM that NC won both side and total last year but in the previous

two years went 0-2 in each of those years.

Re: extension 4, comp. again gets smashed yesterday on Utah Utes.

Thus they continue to still be in downtrend having lost 10 of 12.

Until/when they win two in a row, I will have no further commentary.

The college football season has reached its crescendo. Clemson (14-0) will take on LSU (14-0) for the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday.
The game will offer plenty of betting opportunities. ESPN betting analyst Phil Steele is here to offer his best bet for the game.

Overall record:

Phil Steele: 36-44-1 (6-6 in bowls)

Clemson Tigers vs. LSU Tigers (-6, 69.5)

(8 p.m. ET Monday on ESPN at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans)

Steele: If this game were a semifinal, the line would be close to a pick 'em, but after LSU destroyed Oklahoma and Clemson needed a comeback to beat Ohio State, the Tigers from Louisiana are favored by nearly a touchdown. LSU has faced the much tougher schedule, with six wins over top-10 teams, while Clemson has just one. This game is in New Orleans, so LSU will have a clear home-field edge.
The skill players on both sides are elite, but LSU won the Joe Moore Award for the top offensive line in the country and has an advantage on offense with a stronger front. Dave Aranda and Brent Venables are two of the most talented defensive coordinators in the country, but each unit has shown some flaws. Clemson has held foes to 152 yards per game below their season average (No. 1 in the FBS) but gave up 516 yards to Ohio State. The Tigers have allowed just 270 yards per game in their past four games, but four times this season, they allowed more than 450 yards in a game.
Dabo Swinney is an outstanding 8-1 ATS as an underdog in the postseason, with six outright upsets. I find it tough to go against either squad, so I will lean with the over.
Pick: Over 69.5

Ok-according to the SM the two star rated play is the side, meaning it is Clemson.

The Marquee Play has been designated as the total meaning it is OVER.

One correction re: post 879 on January 7

I said this:

This means that they have lost six out of the last seven weeks and more importantly have LOST THIRTEEN OUT OF EIGHTEEN

WEEKS SINCE SEASON BEGAN!!!

In actuality it should have read LOST FOURTEEN OUT OF NINTEEN WEEKS SINCE SEASON BEGAN!!!

Kudos to Phil Steele/NC for losing their star rated play on Clemson and as far as I am concerned the total only, because it was 67 1/2 when the gave it

out and for a while afterwards.

The star rated loss means another losing week bringing the record to FIFTEEN OUT OF TWENTY LOSING WEEKS FOR THE SEASON!!

It is even more remarkable is that NC's owner and the one who brags about spending 100-120 hour work weeks compiling and handicapping

and boasting about not missing one single Bowl Game out of the forty played is the key contributor to this embarrassing record.

For the record Steele/NC over the last four years in the Championship Game have gone 0-2 three times and 2-0 just once.

Surely a football only with a demented owner suffering from psychosis should do better than this. lol

Recaps for Week Twenty:

College sides and totals 0-1 with 2.2 units LOST.

Pros 1-1 with 1.2 units GAINED.

Overall for the week 1 units was LOST or $100 at $100 a unit.

The cost of service for a non PS subscriber of the several mentioned to get all of the Late Phone Plays was $159.

Anyways, factoring in the cost, it is seen that 2.59 units were LOST or $259 at $100 a unit.

This means that they have FOURTEEN OUT OF NINETEEN WEEKS SINCE SEASON BEGAN!!!

Cumulative:

College 81-80-3 with 30.9 units LOST(sides and totals combined).

Pro 32-36-2 with 18.95 units LOST.

Overall 49.85 units have been LOST or MINUS $4,985 at $100 a unit.

The total cost of service so far is 41.25 units or $4,125.

Thus adding in the cost, it is seen that so far the non PS subscriber is MINUS 91.1 units or a MINUS WHOPPING

$9,110 at $100 a unit.

ONCE AGAIN THIS IS YET ANOTHER LOW WATER MARK FOR THE SEASON!!!

Overall including last week over the last almost four years, anyone who has played the Late Phones

according to scale and factoring in the cost of service, is DOWN A DOCUMENTED MINUS $26,658!!!

Back later after comp. message is out.

ps rush-man I sort of agree but would change the words to its ALMOST kinda sad.

In listening to extensions 9 and 4 today on comp. line I came away the Phil Steele has ordered his hitman,Todd, to throw even more caution to the

wind than usual and throw as much bullshit, lies and deceptions as possible in order out of desperation to try to get a few suckers to

sign up for something and salvage something out of this truly horrible season by any objective person.

On ext. 9 Todd tells us about the "hugely discounted rate" of $129 for Full Executive Service between now and end of Superbowl, which includes both

sides and totals for this week's NF: Games, the SB, props and a couple of meaningless All Star Games.

What Todd the Turd DOESN'T tell us that NC lost both side and total last night making it 0-2 for three out of the last four years.

The Turd also doesn't mention why the $129 piece is such a great price in that they are down a DOCUMENTED $9110 for the season with the plays

in post 913 and $26,658 over the last four years!!!

Of course none of this matters, and one is supposed to swallow, hook, line and sinker that $129 is some kind of unbelievable bargain. lol

All of this is done with feigned excitement in Todd's voice, which is so obviously forced that it would get him a nomination for the worst and least

believable handicapper comp. message if there was such an award.

On ext. 4 first as usual there is no mention of how the comp. did yesterday, which once again was a LOSER, bringing the record to 2-13 of late!!!

Then we get some more feigned excitement because a few guys in this stable of mostly perennial LOSERS won for a day or so, and of course

a desperate pitch to buy their picks.

That's it for now.

As there is essentially nothing going on until Sunday other than a couple of meaningless/worthless garbage All Star games that only

a crazed/maniacal lunatic like Phil Steele would bother to handicap let alone bet on, I decided to get something off my chest which I

haven't talked about all that much.

This segment is entitled The Other Side of the Phil Steele/NC Scandal.

Here goes-all of this is of course highly subjective and without proof, although I firmly believe it to be 100% true based on my following

Phil Steele and his pattern of behavior as it relates to NC.

Anyways as anyone knows who has followed what I say about Phil Steele/NC over the years, I have always concentrated on the scamdicapping aspect of

all of this, namely trying to dupe the public through lies of omission and to a smaller extent lies of commission, spin, half truths, using favorable

time frames to present their records and a bit more.

While I strongly believe all of this to be true, I think that this may be a by product of Phil Steele's psyche.

What do I mean?

Well we all know that when Todd, Steele''s co-conspirator/comp. guy in all of this, does the comp. line, we have always got a truly distorted picture of

how NC has been doing, which for all reasons stated previously, gives the impression that all is well with NC and that at the very least they have been winning

when in fact as my documentation shows, nothing could be further from the truth,

Well on the surface the reason is that Steele/NC want to hide the truth from all potential and even present clientele out there so that they will

buy the products and services of NC, but imo there is more.

To cut to the chase, I firmly believe one of the big reasons that NC operates in the manner in which they do is because Steele is mot emotionally

equipped to deal with losing picks, losing days, losing weeks and losing seasons because of his feelings of superiority, infallibility and overall arrogance.

Thus imo when a pick/picks loses/lose, in order to remove any short term hurt, he immediately tries to find a way to negate all of this in the mind.

Thus as see it, in his mind the easiest way to deal with it/rationalize it is to find a way to make a positive out of it.

For example, if NC has a lousy day or week, no biggie-just go back and use some kind of time frame to "prove" that the short loss or losses were aberrations

and that his/NC picks are still very good.

Conversely if the long term record is crappy, then imo he looks for an out/something positive in the short term which can and will use

in his mind to rationalize/block out the longer term picture.

Using this year as an example, which has been atrocious, as you can see with the documentation in post 913, in his mind he will think only about the

two truly outstanding weeks during the season where they hit about 85% of the plays and conclude that the overall fourteen losing weeks out fifteen(the 14 out of 19

I stated yesterday is incorrect) and consider that as an aberration and due to the faults of the players and teams involved rather than his 'infallible'

handicapping methods.

Along the same lines of thinking, although the obvious reason that NC has so many different types of picks, packages, services, etc. to draw from

is to extort as much money out of the public as possible, imo just as importantly if not more importantly the reason that Phil Steele does this

is again because he is unemotionally equipped to deal with losses and needs something to grasp when a certain category of pick/picks go down.

One doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to realize that when one has so many choices to choose from as Steele/NC do, the chances are

pretty overwhelming that at least something will win, which in turn will give Phil Steele something to hang his hat on, take away

the hurt and bring some resultant emotional stability.

That's it-thanks to those who took the time to read this.

As always, feel free to add any commentary

Not surprisingly the ext. 9 update was late today imo because Steele/Todd/NC hope it will give folks more time that they DID NOT mention the 0-2 day with NCAA

Championship game yesterday.

There was no admission today either, which just tells us for the zillionth time the words "full disclosure" and "accountability" are non existent with Phil Steele,

Todd, Debbie or any other gutter scum who works for NC.

Instead we get the same bullshit as yesterday about the "great discounted" price for $129 for FES between now and end of season.

It goes without see that in order to further this cause Todd, Phil's fellator/slave, tells us about the positive overall four year record

for the Late Phones but DOES NOT admit that the star rated players are 1-3 in this post season.

And oh yeah just to show one more time what an incredibly cheap co ksu ker, Phil Steele and compay are, they pump individual issues of PowerSweep

of PowerPlays for $10 for a single issue.

Not surprisingly Phil through Todd refers to the last few years positive record in the Playoffs for these publications but DOES NOT state this year's record-

draw your own conclusions!

On ext. 4 once again we DO NOT get an admission that the comp. yesterday lost nor an admission that these comps are not 2-13 over the last fifteen!!!

That's about it-in short just another day at the office for Phil Steele/Todd and the other henchmen at NC involved with this fraudulent, lying, evaisve and deceptive

service.

Savage I am curious of all the emails you sent to NC have you ever received a response back from them? I wonder what they have to say when they have lost 14 out of 19 weeks. This is crazy for a football only service that they tout themselves as.

Crown-Actually I have received a few responses from Todd up until a few months ago when he said that he would not longer receive/answer

my emails for reasons unknown.

For the most part the few responses I received had to do with a line which I used for one of their picks as opposed to a more favorable one on their part

which meant the difference in win, loss or push.

A few months ago I also called them out for difficulty in using their website, and he wrote back and acknowledged the error.

In short the stuff was sort of minor, and I didn't bother to post it.

He/ Steele/NC have NEVER written back when I have asked them via email to comment on my record keeping and how it differed from theirs nor

my commentary regarding their overall lies by omission, spin, using favorable time frames and overall deceptions.

The chances of their admitting to me or anyone that they have lost now 15 out of 20 weeks this season and being down over 9K with cost of service factored

in are about the same as the chances of a blizzard hitting Las Vegas in the middle of July when the temperature is 115 degrees. lol

Well if it is REALLY true that Phil Steele watched/saw EVERY SINGLE PLAY OFf EVERY SINGLE BOWL GAME out of the forty or so which

were played either live or replay and actually bragged about it, I suppose that there is the "remote" chance that God could intervene

and dump an unpredicted blizzard in Las Vegas in the middle of July to prove that it is not impossible. lol
