NC isn't doing football.

The reason that there is a basketball comp. on ext. 9 from a member of the NC Community Capper is simply because there is no football until

Saturday;thus in order to get people to call the comp. line to hear, the NC promotions for the week, they have to offer something at the end of the

tape, and thus the reason for the basketball comp.

During regular football season, you get only football comps. because there are lots of games to choose from.

Obviously that is not the case now.

Well it looks like it will be eight straight losers on ext. 4 unless there is an unusual barrage points in Lakers game in 4th quarter.

And yes unfortunately I bet it for one unit.

I am going to bet the comp. tomorrow also, but have decided to try to get just even rather than go double or nothing.

If it wins, I may or may or not continue to bet the comps. to see if they can go on a short term run.

If pick loses tonight, I am frankly not sure as to what I will do moving forward.

This has to do with my last post about chasing the NC Comps on ext. 4 which had lost seven straight going into yesterday(all with different cappers)

and now eight.

Actually I went against my own theory which is this as it relates to gambling.

Let me give you and example:

If a sports team has lost say seven straight and/or not covered for seven straight games but in the seventh game comes very close to winning

or covering the spread, don't assume that that means the losing streak is over.

In fact, in many cases that is a fake out and streak will continue longer.

As it relates to chasing the comps., this did happen as in the seventh game of the losing streak, the pick was Utah -3 in the NBA.

Well they won all right but only by 2 meaning that the streak continued.

Dumb me took that as a sign that the next comp. would cover.

Well that didn't "quite" happen as the OVER Laker 222 came up a "little" short and never came close to covering as final score was 117-87.

The good news though and using the stock market as a comparison is that when say a stock is going bad day after day and then has one

day where it really gets pummeled, many times(not always) that can mark the end of the streak as everyone has given up and sold, and the stock will start up.

In the case of chasing the NC Comps I am going to try to apply that theory in a sense in that after coming close to covering the day before,

last night the "over" in the Laker game got pummeled, and imo many people who have been betting/chasing these comps. might just give up

and even possibly start fading the comps.

As stated I THINK the loss last night MIGHT end the losing streak and start a winning streak with no guarantee of course.

Thus I am going to play the comp. tonight to try to make up last night's loss and maybe a little more.

My biggest fear is that the comp. tonight might come from the Friends of Mike Lee(they go to a different capper after a comp. loses), who is a perennial

loser, the big reason he gives out a zillion plays a day.

Thus I am worried that if his picks is given, they might use the wrong one and the comp. might lose again.

Back later.

ps Thanks to all of those who took the time to read above ramble. lol

Ok here we go with the comp. line "highlights," and it is a good one because it typifies the arrogance, incompetence and total lack of respect for the intelligence

of those calling the comp. line on the part of Phil Steele/NC.

First of all I almost took my eyes off the road as I was driving as I was laughing so hard when Todd pumped the Full Executive Service for a "discounted"

price/ a "real low" price of $299.

And naturally he stated that the Late Phones the last three seasons in the NFL Playoffs have gone 13-4-1 when they are actually as documented 12-4-1.

MOST IMPORTANTLY AND AS EXPECTED, HE DOES NOT SAY THAT PLAYS ARE 0-2 SO FAR THIS SEASON.

Also, just to show you how stupid/incompetent Phil Steele/NC are, they try to make out the so called $299 a real big deal, thatat the beginning of the season,

subscribers pay $2500 OR EVEN MORE for Full Executive Service.

What he doesn't tell us that those who subscribed for FES the season(if there was anyone), and played the Late Phones according

to scale "were treated to/" lost almost 9K for the Late Phones alone and God knows how much more for all of the other Marquees and other shit thrown in. lol

Just as noteworthy do Phil/Todd think that people listening to the comp. line are so fucking stupid so as not to realize that paying $2500 and up at THE BEGINNING

OF THE SEASON is a far cry from paying $299 with a couple of weeks remaining.

I will let you decide all things considered including NC's deplorable record if getting the Late Phones, Marquees and opinions for seven remaining games as well

as the NFL Playoff GOY and College Championship Game are worth $299 and whether it really is the great discount that Todd proclaims it to be.

THE COMP. ON EXT. 9 IS A THREE STAR FROM THE FAKE SERVICE ACCUPICS ON HOUSTON -8 IN THE NBA.

ON ext. 4 once again Todd the TURD doesn't admit another loss on ext. 4 making it EIGHT CONSECUTIVE LOSSES.

For reasons stated today and ,the only thing for me worth noting is the comp., WHICH IS A THREE STAR FROM THREE RIVER(WHICH I ALSO

BELIEVE TO BE A MADE-UP SERVICE ON DUQUESNE - 7 1/2.

Early Take

This is ot for those who have not been following nor are interested in what I said the last few days about chasing the losing streak of the NC Comps.

on ext. 4.

For those who have, you will note that the comp. on Duquesne last night finally won after eight straight losses.

What is interesting is that in this instance it went right along with my thinking.

To remind you, in game 7 of the losing streak the comp. almost won with Utah winning the game by 2 but not covering the line of 3.

What I said is (and I although I broke my rule)don't assume that because a team or in this case sports picks which are in a long losing streak will cover

in the next game if they come close to covering as they may be a fake out.

In this case it wass demonstrated because the next comp. which was the OVER in the Laker/Knicks game didn't come close to covering.

I remarked that an instance like this might actually be as they say in stock market jargon(there are a lot of similarities between streaks in sports and in

stock market) a buying opportunity because game eight was so far off and a lot of people might just give up.

For me based on my experiences in the market and gambling which goes back many, many years, I decided to play contrarian and think /bett that the very next [pick

might cover.

Well Duquesne covered easily and the streak ended.

Now the other side of the coin as it regards this matter which again is based on over 50 years of investing in the stock market and sports gambling

is that a one day easy winner does not mean that things will improve immediately, and in this case that the comps. will go on a big winning streak right away.

In fact, I can recall many instances both in the stock market when a stock/team which was on a long losing streak and then had one big up day in the market,

or in the case of sports an easy winner which covered by many points, where this turned out to be nothing more than a one day wonder.

What I mean is right after the big day in the market or easy cover, the stock/team continued their downward plunge.

That said, I am probably going to bet the comp. again tonight, and if it wins, continue to bet them until they lose and then re-evaluate when the latter

occurs.

In essence imo whether it be in the stock market or a sports team, I want to see consistency in steady upward movement in a stock price or team/comp.

line win in order to be impressed and commit money.

I hope some of this makes sense, and again what I stated is based on my own opinion and personal experiences only.

Ok-real fast today as everything is about the same with one notable exception.

The exception is that while Todd boasted about the 13-4-1 record in NFL Playoffs over the last three years(I have it as 12-4-1), for

a welcome change he actually admitted that NC is off to a slow start with a 0-2 record this year-hopefully that is some progress which will continue.

No change in pricing.

THE COMP. IS A 3* FROM FEIST ON OVER MONTANA 149.

For those who have been following my commentary the last few days re: the losing streak of the NC Cappers, which was broken last night,

THE COMP. ON EXT. 4 IS A 3* FROM THREE RIVER SPORTS ON OREGON - 3.

There is nothing new whatsoever on ext.9 which hasn't been mentioned already this week.

THE COMP. IS A 3* FROM FEIST ON WRIGHT STATE -10..

For those who have been reading my ramblings about the comps. on ext.4 and theories in general, we got thrown another curve ball like we did the

other night with Utah when in this case Oregon won the game by one point but did not cover the line of 3.

Personally I think the comp. line comps/ MAY BE churning at the moment before perhaps a winning uptrend.

However before drawing any conclusions, imo we have to see at least a couple of CONSECUTIVE winning days, which we haven't seen in a while

THE COMP. IS A 3* FROM HOT SHOT SPORTS ON PHOENIX - 3.

Two things come to mind:

1) In previous post, Inside the POOPbox, all one has to do is read the predicted winner and scores to know what NC will give out for its plays his weekend.

The thing which we do not know is which will be the Late Phone Plays and the GOY, not that it matters all that much.

re: the Weekly SEWER, oops I mean Tour Selections, I watched via close caption(did not listen as I can's stand Steele's arrogant and condescending

voice) for about two minutes.

Once I realized that all that all it contained other than a little preview of the Championship Game was a recap of all of the other Bowl games, how they unfolded, blah,

blah, blah, I lost interest.

I can't believe that there are many if any folks other than Steele who at this point give a rat's about retrospective analysis of Bowl Games which

have already been played!

The most telling line in the video until I shut it off is when Phil Steele actually BRAGS about watching/seeing EVERY SINGLE PLAY IN EVERY SINGLE BOWL

GAME like it is a virtue or something.

For me it is indicative of a demented/narcissistic individual with a severe OCD who needs professional hope.

Why do I say this?

Well as you probably think/know already, I am a bit compulsive myselfwith my over concern/obsessiveness with Phil Steele/NC.

While I certainly won't deny this, the difference between him and me is that I devote only a few minutes a day to this whereas

with him it is 24/7/365 with regular admitted work weeks of 100-120 hrs.

Also unlike him, I get results with so many people taking in my comments and documentation.

In turn what do his 100-120 hr work weeks yield other than 50% accuracy with his picks and overall with a handicapping

rating overtime which is at best in the middle of the pack if not worse?

Not much to report early other than my comments for those who are interested as to whether comps. on ext. 4 after an eight game losing streak are

no in an uptrend or not.

Well on Thursday night the one game winning streak for comps. ended at Utah won by one point but didn't cover the three point line.

Last night was really interesting in that the comp. on Phoenix -3 seemed like an easy winner most of the game until Orlando caught them and actually caught

them with a little more than a minute to play and took a four point lead

Then it was all Phoenix as they hit two consecutive three pointers to lead by two and hit a couple of free throws to win by four and cover.

Thus the NC Cappers are now 2-1 the last three picks with an easy win followed by a close loss and then a close win.

In short imo there is not enough quite evidence yet to suggest that an uptrend is underway but a relatively easy win today MIGHT be

an indication that it is.

Comp. message is short and sweet.

NFL Playoff GOY goes sometime this weekend with the usual pricing for $100 or as part of FES.

The comp. is for tomorrow and is a single Mar"quees"my ass unit play on OVER KC 51.

I will give the ext 4. comp. later once it is released for those who have been following my take the last few days.

It will be interesting to see how this one turns out with the line now being Ok City being favored by 7 1/2 points because "God" won't be playing today

for the Lakers today because of illness.

Very little to talk about today as we already know the three star rated pick today on UNDER Seattle 46 1/2.

Also yes they won their Playoff GOY on San Francisco, but on the other hand the question/comment is that lots of services had them; more

importantly did any fan who has followed the NFL carefully all year need to pay NC or for that matter any service $100 or whatever they

charged for strictly an opinion on a Playoff game?

The simple reason is that that they do not/did not anything at their disposal you did not.

The same can be said about the Baltimore/Tennessee Game where lots of services fell flat on their faces with their Baltimore pick.

And oh yes, re: the ext. 4 comps. the fact that Ok. City couldn't even cover the original line of + 1 1/2 let alone the adjusted one of - 7 1/2,

and in fact got walloped, tells me that the comps. are still in a downtrend and imo not even worth looking

at if you want to play them (rather than fade them) unless/until/if/when they win at least two consecutive ones, which hasn't happened in a while.

Hold the phone.

Todd stated yesterday and/or at least gave the impression yesterday that there would be no update on Sunday, and actually gave out the comp.

for Sunday yesterday.

I guess they had a change of heart perhaps as GOY won, as there is an update today.

The only noteworthy things are Todd boasts of the star rated plays in NFL for last three years boasting they are 14-4-1 whereas in fact they

are lying as they did with their College Bowl records because in actuality as documented by the SM the record is 13-4-1.

More importantly and not surprisingly as this is the way NC operates, Todd DOES NOT state the record for THIS YEAR, which is now 1-2.

For those who want today's plays/FES, it will cost $39.
