First Look
This goes back to post 57 yesterday and their totally absurd/out of touch with reality pricing for both PS subscribers for this uyear, 2020 and 2021 and non PS
subcribers.
Again to claim that the retail value of a full week of Full Executive which includes everything that NC puts out but the kitchen sink with a supposed
retail value of $399 and/or tries to give the public the impression that Steele's/NC's picks are worth it is just plain insulting and just plain arrogant.
Thus discounting FES to $249 for this week and other discounts for other weeks for a PS subscriber for this year is not a discount at all and in reality
just brings down to a totally absurd price to one still unrealistic.
The cheesy added $10 and $20 added for FES for signing up for an additional one or two year subscription doesn't do it either.
First of all it is quite obvious to those who don't live in a world of fantasy and delusion that NC is struggling to sell anything these days because among other
things 1) the picks are very mediocre compared to lots of other services;2) are not cheap even with the phony discounts;3_VERY importantly just
about everything they pt out and most importantly The Late Phones are plastered all over the internet for free(as well
as the PowerSweep and PowerPlays Newsletters);4)the perceived and real lack of honesty, transparency and overall deceit of Phil Steele/NC.
Frankly because of the above I see no out for them and that things will only get worse.
That said, if I was in charge of the Marketing Dept., I might try something like this to try to turn things around:
Cut out the horseshit about a retail value of $399 for Full Executive Service-no one in their right mind is going to pay that.
In today's real competitive world of sports services it is worth $199 tops of 1/2 of the $399.
Think of it this way-if someone balks at paying out $99 for a one year subscription, it makes no sense whatsoever to conclude that they are going
to pay $399 for one week's service.
Thus using the NC format, my pricing would go something like this for Full Executive Service:
Non PS subscriber for the week $199.
A subscriber for PS for 2019 $99
A subscriber for 2019 and 2020 $89
a subscriber for 2019, 2020 and 2021 $79
Back later.
