You may want to keep an Eye on the Sligo-Bray game this Weekend, I'm reliably informed that Sligo are not only getting tough to beat at home but are a bogey Team for Bray over the years. :drink:

Thanks winbet. I plan to monitor all the action in the Eircom league on Friday and the weekend by comparing prices using Paddy Power and betfair.

culled from a Q&A at the SBI blog:

RS- Any more new info on ESPN looking to get Premier League rights starting in the 2009-2010 season? If anybody can find out some new info on this, it's you. Thanks Ives.
IVES- The word I just got from a source at ESPN is that ESPN is definitely interested and the feeling around the network is that a large bid is coming because ESPN has big plans for expanding ESPN Classic into potentially an ESPN3, with the English Premier League as one of the station's marquee draws. That whole scenario may wind up being wishful thinking but what is clear is tht ESPN is interested in the EPL rights.

If this comes to fruition then I'll def. be wagering on the EPL. ESPNI - "I" for international.

Don't you have Fox Soccer Channel? Great for watching the EPL on Saturday mornings.

I forgot to mention that earlier in the week betfair had Shamrock at 2.20 and the dropped to something like 1.41 and then shot back up to 2.50. I thought that movement to be quite odd.

Have you heard anything in regards to that match winny?

Thanks in advance.

I do, but I am spoiled, I wanna watch in HD. :drink:

I've only been seriously wagering since the WC in '06, so I wanna take it slow and the fixtures crossover w/ football and basketball.

Also, if the WPS has odds on it next April...I'll be wagering on that rebranded league. :lol:Hopefully, FSC, ESPN or Lifetime:nohead:picks up the broadcast :lolBIG:rights.

Yeah, Lifetime should pick up the league.

:nohead:

Either them or the LOGO channel.

If the WPS signs Dutch players then maybe they should go on LOGO too.

I seem to recall that the WNBA had games on Lifetime or was it WE.

Good stuff hm2.0.

:toast:

Ireland - Eircom League
Finn Harps pk +115 over Shamrock
+203/+150

Pinnacle even has Finn at +214 but since I can't bet there I'm posting the price at 5dimes. Paddy Power has discounted Finn to +155 while others are even at +150. I'm taking the pk here.

Just an FYI for those concerned about Paddy Power leans/steam. They had steam on the following:

Ireland Division 1
Monaghan/Dundalk over 2.5: 2.20 to 1.91
Dundalk: 1.73 to 1.62
Shelbourne: 1.44 to 1.40
Wexford/Limerick over 2.5: 2.50 to 2.20
Limerick: 2.88 to 2.70

None of these are picks. This is just for informational purposes only.

Finn 1, Shamrock 1, Push, 0.00
Reims 3, Nantes 3, Push, 0.00
Reims got up 2-0 before coming to this draw.

YTD: +0.16

Here are the results of the Irish matches:
Monaghan 0, Dundalk 0
Shelbourne 5, Kildare 0
Wexford 1, Limerick 1

So these didn't follow steam except for Shelbourne. I think the key to following steam is to follow it with more of a movement than we have here.

I've thought about waiting until just before the match starts to see if the price difference is still 50 points. However, I've seen a couple matches win even thought the price difference went from more than 50 points to less than 50 points.

Italy - Serie B
Lecce -1/2 -230 over Triestina
-230/-285

France - Ligue 1
Toulouse -1/2 -226 over -285

Still looking for a +1/2 line for Lorient in this same league.

Yeah, I was wondering what happened to them. Did you see the match?

I put Triestina as their opponent. It should be Bari and Toulouse is playing Valenciennes. That's what I get for posting drunk.
