redeye, im sure ive mentioned somewhere here, but i house a handful of caddies during the st.jude classic every year... the rumors of phil being a huge kiss ass phony and, for the most part, an unliked pompous prick around tour, are quite true... apparently, he made some changes after cancer hit his wife and mother, but is still recognized as a huge fucking jackoff... ive met him a handful of times and he always seemed okay, but you can tell that every word he says and every thing he does is for a reason... the guy is overly worried about his image with the public
his play today was incredible ...

since turning 33, Phil has 5 majors and 5 runnerups.. Tiger has no major wins and 1 runnerup since turning 33....
funny that the guys who say this wont put a face to their comments... still have yet to hear a guy other then known asshole elkington say anything publicly. mahan came out a couple years ago and said all that talk is ridiculous.
you think people on tour just go around talking about other players in interviews and such? dont be sillyhno:... after what phils family has gone through, nobody would go on camera to talk negative about him anyways.... he is quite the jolly guy now, no doubt, but the rumors of him being two-faced , arent really rumors at all... and a guy with numerous unpaid gambling debts is going to catch shit from every direction anyways...

another phony thing about Phil is how he helps out the newer PGA members..I'm not sure how many times I have heard how he takes guys under his tutelage so to speak
Phil is really good dude.
He wants to make sure everyone knows he is a good dude, but he is still indeed a good guy.
It's not going to be easy coming back from an over the par round and catch world class golfers like Justin Rose and Adam Scott. What makes it worse is the golf course will probably dry out a little by tomorrow given if there is no rain, and Tiger will have to play the tougher Friday afternoon round.well, a 71 to open the pga for tiger. here we go again..

I have a feeling that Scott and Bradley are going to milk these long putters for all they can get before being forced to make a change. I think the only golfers who this is truly going to hurt by the switch are the golfers who really had a bad case of the yips before. Not all of these golfers had that problem. Some just chose the long putter because it was the most comfortable for them to use. Especially the taller players like Kuchar, Scott & Bradley. Scott is definitely the most consistent golfer this season. But I think he can be beat if any of these top 10 players get hot on the course. Mickelson has done a great job of bringing his round back. I wouldn't be surprised if he was right there on Sunday, even though this course really doesn't favor his game that much.Scott keeps this up, nobody is catching him. Ill admit, Scott is the best golfer in the world right now. He better learn how to putt with a real putter though.......no doubt that Tiger wants this course to dry out though, he always wants a dry, fast course
