8 year run from 2000-08 is more accurate

Ok, fair enough. I'm just asking, not trying to make a point or anything, do you know how many tourn he has won since all hell broke loose in his world? He had 5 wins last year and something like 2 or 3 the year before. Is that about right?

Didn't I have a thread when Tiger would win again that lasted over 2 1/2 years.... Was that part of your 14 year run ?

I know people who have spent time with Tiger. He has always been a certifiable prick. Also please note that the one person outranking him in his "prickdom" was his father.

Apparently the aftereffects of all the PEDs and whores are really difficult.

I notice there have not been any responses to this. I hope that is because you guys all know this is true. I guarantee this post to be balls-on accurate.

Sucks watching Tiger slowly breakdown, piece by piece. No telling the extent of his injuries, but hopefully he can come back and play sooner rather than later. The knee injuries never concerned me nearly as much as the back. the back seems to be the kiss of death for a golfer. I have a feeling the remainder of his career will be similar to Fred Couples, that's what I'm hoping for as a Pro Tiger guy. If that's the case, on the right week he will still be ONE OF "the guys to beat" on those weeks, and then the question is can he hold up for 4 rounds. How many times have we seen Fred at the top of a leader board on thurs/fri and watch him slip away on the weekend?

I still put Tiger at the top of my list as the best athlete in my lifetime, thus far. He has played the best golf over a 15 year period that anybody has ever played. I'd argue he was a better golfer than Jack with anybody, but in the end he will go down as the 2nd best golfer to ever play, even in my book. They are measured by majors, right? With the amount and quality of golfers around the world today, I think It's safe to say Jack's record is safe for awhile, maybe forever.

Red Eye, Kermit, GS......you boys were right, he won't break the record. But I've enjoyed the arguments the last few years fellas

Don't remember if I have had an exchange with you or not taylor. But, based on the above remark, you must be four years old or you have been living in a cave!

"As Tiger noted in December, he's had three surgeries on his back, so the recovery would take a long time. He told a story in an interview with Time in December about how his back was once so bad, he bent over, fell down, and couldn't get up in his own backyard.

At 40 years old, with a serious medical history, things are pointing in the wrong direction for Tiger. Hopefully his rehab improves, at least to the point where he can live comfortably, even if he can't get back on the golf course."

Jack Nicklaus

18 major wins

19 seconds in majors

18 thirds in majors.

from 1966 to 1980 Jack finished in the top 6 in every British Open.

He had competition back then . Quite a few hall of famers

15 years from now I think Tiger will be recognized as the best ever , but not yet...

its almost 15 years later

Tigers majors career has 15 more years.

Go Tiger

He will head into the final round of the Tour Championship Sunday
looking for his first victory in five years [/COLOR]with a 3-shot lead and armed with the megawatt smile, fist pump and Houdini-like ability to deliver improbable shots in the clutch.
