The FHP said alcohol was not involved, though the accident remains under investigation and charges could be filed. No one else was in the car, Montes said.<o></o>

No idea what happened with Tiger, but I will tell you in Miami that only about 10-20% of people brought to the hospital after being drunk and crashing got arrested - at least this is the way it was 3-4 years ago. Cops simply did not want to sit in the hospital overnight or for a few days which they must if they arrest.
Not a far stretch that Tiger just said I'm sober and the cops said ok. I know many people who have been let off who knew the cops far less well.
