Iceman, I don't want to hear about your "locals" back home anymore. Kapish?

I agree. Kind of sick of talking about them also. Will try to remember that, no more Michigan talk going forward (or at least i will try and that isnt going to be easy:103631605)

That wasn't the point I was trying to make. You need to cease the talk about wagering in Michigan. It's for your own good. Good luck

Put together a huge list of things to do last nite. Going to try and knock a lot of thing out today. The problem is I dont know where half of this crap is. My biggest lifesaver is a GPS system I have been using. Cant imagine where I would be without it.

Going to meet poster Kermit tonite. He is going to fill me in on a few different things he does to help him get an edge on the casino's. Should be a good time and I am extremely greatful he will spend some time with me. I am sure he has a hundred other things he could be doing. So thought that was cool. Just trying to add some things to do when I go out to bet, etc.. I have no idea how beneficial any of this is but hopefully with a few of his ideas and when Fish e-mails a few of his things than maybe I will have a better plan to work.

I keep really good records of what I have bet for the past 2 years and here is where I stand and somewhat my plan going into this.

I have won a little over 2% ROI for over 20,000 bets the past 2 years. This all started 2 years ago September 1st (though i did bet a lot before that and pretty much broke even or lost a little). A poster here by the name of Randyrohm had been teaching me some scalpng and middling concepts and I started to win. Throw in extras on bonuses and everything was going well. I started to notice I was beating the same books over and over and losing to the likes of Pinny, etc. I decided to ask a few other guys who i respected about this and they told me to quit playing at the sharper outs (duh, LOL) as the plays there were -ev. After that my ROI went up (so did my risk) and my bet sizes went down as now I didnt need to be betting as big as you do with middles and scalps. I felt this style worked best for me so i adopted it. I am not a handicapper, I am mainly line shopper. I hope to addd a few capping things into what i do but the majority of my plays will me looking for any and every slightly off number I can find and betting it. I have developed a few tricks and things to help me find these but overall this comes from just plain hard boring work and maybe a little for having a decent feel for a few things I have seen in the past. Some call it the Pinny lean, I like to refer to it more as a 53% number compared to the consensus line at the sharp books. An example of play I found might be last nite (I dont like to do this this early in the week and yes I know there were better numbers on this game a month ago but I wasn't betting a month ago) was Denver -2.5 -110 at Betonline when everyone else has this game at -3 -110. More or lesss stuff like that. You would be surprised how if you focus on doing this on every bet how good of a betting card you will have. Probably not giving myself enough credit on how I do things but there are things you just feel and see from the expierence of doing this 20,000 times that maybe a newbie would be able to do.

A lot of guys ask me how many books do you get kicked out of and stuff like that. I have never had any problems because of the fact i try my hardest to fly under the radar (though SIA has severley limited me to $100 bets). A straight wager for me will be around $200-$300. Most places wont even blink at action like that, at least I haven noticed it (knock on wood). Also when you are in 15 different books you dont really abuse any one particular book. Some are surpsied that all I play is $200-300 plays but if you put 30 bets on average a nite thru the books that is decent money overall if you are winning at a 2% rate. I am not looking to be a millionaire or anything like that. The math is right there for anyone to add up. It is a grind and I think the hardest thing for most is not the hours but the ability to stomach the up and downs. The daily flucuations can be hard on most and that is why i bet so small to my bankroll. That to me is the #1 thing I believe in if you are going to try this.

I am not a big bettor by any stretch of the imagination but I do bet huge volume wise (around 1,000 plays a month is average). I think the more plays you have the less variance you encounter and hopefully that takes most of the luck out what I am doing and the numbers run close to what they should run over the longterm, at least that is the hope and what i have seen up till now. So basically in a nutshell I hope to win around 20 units a month. That is the goal, unfortunatley it never goes as perfect as it is planned, espically lately. This past 6 months have been really odd. I won over 130 units in one month (by far my best month ever) but since then I am down about 10 units in the last 5 months. Overall that is almost right on where my normal win rate. I attribute some of the problems of late to baseball which has never been easy for me to do with this. Before this strecth I was very consistent. I went thru 2 stretches of winning 8 out of 9 months. I have only had 1 winning month (and 1 breakeven) in the last 5 months. The good news is that my losing month usually have ran 3X less than an average winning month has, moneywise for the month. I like to keep track of things from month to month. Kind of like keeping score for me with the main goal of having a winning month. Bascially the bills are getting paid so this is me versus the sportsbooks without the fear of having to win. I just want to build my bankroll up. The only thing is I have to win if I want to justify this to anyone (esp GF) going forward. It's a lot eaiser when you dont have to justify it.

Being in Vegas I hope to add things to what I already do and hopefully that translates into more +ev bets and more +ev bets means more money won. I hope with all the free time to just work my ass off at this finding great plays. I think with all free time I will have maybe I can chase a few bonuses that i didnt do in the past because I was too busy to go move money, I think this shoould only help my bottom line. I should be able to hopefully catch books sleeping on some stale numbers or seem some steam plays with all my screen watching all day long. Adding in the extra outs here in Vegas hopefully will help me find more plays, to what extent I have no idea as I havent done it yet. I am looking sign up for betting over the net and by the phone while I am here. I also may sweep thru a few casinos everyday and see if there are good numbers and of there are enough bets to make it worth my time. There a few cappers I would like to be around to folllow when they post a play, I figure if I add in some extensive shopping I can do well with theie plays. I also plan on scalping and middling some things when I see the oppurtunities. I also plan on working for a group of people on a project or two but we havent finalized that yet, some complicated math stuff that they have won on in the past. I just want to get to know a few of these guys and maybe learn a thing or two from them along the way and add it to what I already do. There are a ton of free contests and some I will pay to play in also around town.

Well that about sums it up for now. I am sure some things will change throughout this venture. I am not saying this is the best way to do this. It is what has worked for me in the past, for over 20,000 plays. Will it work in the future? We shall see. I know someone is going to come in here soon and say I am going to lose all my money, etc... I am not 100% sure I will win but I am a very confident with all this because of my past results. I am not here to argue or debate any of this. I am not attempting to brag or sell anything, etc.. I just wanted to explain where I am at with all this right now. I think like anything in life you get what you put into it and I plan going 100 MPH with this everyday. I have always wanted to see how well I would do if I focused on this full time. I know this is my one and only chance to make this happen.

Make sure you sign up for this contest. Problem is everyone in Vegas does also, so it's packed. I always cashed my paycheck there too. I won a jacket, hotel room a couple times, etc. Key is to leave asap with your cash.

I met up with Ice last night for a quick meal and We ended up spending 2 1/2 hours sharing our ideas and stories. Iceman is a very articulate person that I truly believe will be successful in anything that He sets his mind to. I gave him a few ideas that hopefully will help him make a few Bucks but this guy has already made some connections with some of the most influential and successful gamblers in this city so I doubt that He needs much help from me. We had a good time and I would pay attentions to his postings. Great guy, great mind, great potential !

Kermit....sensed that about him at the BASH....At first I thought he would not survive all the pitfalls that Las Vegas offered...but once I met him and talked to him a little, he might just make it....I really did not like his online persona last year, so it goes to show that posters are not always what they seem to be online....he has the fortitude to succeed.....

Thanks for the very kind words Kermit and thanks for hanging out with me last nite, I had a great time. I coud have stuck aroud another couple hours to tell you the truth. You were very easy to talk and had some interesting disscussions on a variety of subjects. Thanks for all the knowledge, you were a big help and I really came out of that meal with a way better idea on how things work when it comes to comps, coupons, video poker, etc... There is NO DOUBT in my mind this guy is a winning player all the way around, he knows value and has discipline and those are probably the 2 most important things you need to win, IMO.

Listening to Kermit just made me realize again how many different people were taking advantage of all this little things back in the day and winning cause of it. At times it just frustrates the crap out of me to think about how much easier it was to bet and I am talking only about 2-3 years ago. I cant begin to tell you how many different conversations with how many different people I have had pertainning to "good ole days of 2004, 2005, etc.."

Should be fun adding some of things Kermit talked about. It is going to take me getting orgainized better on some of this stuff and then putting in the time but it should be fun to give it a try and do it on the side with my sportsbetting. Now if I can only get Fishhead to answer back my e-mail's (LOL) I should have a few extra things in place to earn a little extra income on the side with all this. I patiently await you Fisher, football is almost here and I need some info buddy. I know one thing Kermit had me all fired up when I left there last nite to learn some of the things he talked about. I will keep everyone posted on how this works out for me. Thanks again Kermit!!!

I had some juicy casino fliers in my mail today, so I expect Fishhead is busy aligning his swat team of homeless guys to descend on the mailbox trash cans and dumpsters in the area. I'm sure once the team reports back to him, he'll answer your emails.
