I was paying almost $2,300 back in Michigan (includes taxes).

To be honest with you I thought Vegas real estate is priced very fair compared to other areas I have looked at in the past in the U.S. The thing is we could have lived for less but the neighborhoods werent as nice and vice versa. I would say we are in just a decent neighborhood, nothing special.
