Hey Ice, what do you plan on doing careerwise after the 1-2 years of betting full time? Are you worried about being able to get a job with a 1-2 year gap on your resume, explaining that you were a professional gambler or "advantage bettor" or whatever professional sounding term you want to use? That's the one thing that would concern me.

Omni, same question to you, did you have a hard time finding a job after you gambled for a living?

I live about 17 miles north of Summerlin but do work near Ft Apache and West Sahara. I drink in a few bars near and in Boca Park.

ICEMAN - great choice on Summerlin. Always told myself that if I ever made the move, Summerlin would be high up on a very short list. From what I've been hearing about real estate out there, you probably have a massive pad for $1450 :)

Definitely check out Rampart. IMO, its one of the most beautiful casinos in all of Vegas.
I used to take my Mother there every Saturday and while She played the machines, I would enjoy their 100 + payback video poker machines. They give great comps etc. However as to being one of the most beautiful Casinos in town..... I can name quite a few that would outshine this one including the Red Rock which is the closest one to Ice !

Mt. Charleston should be on your HIGH list, and Red Rock on your semi-high list.

Please, never leave these on your "small" list.

I was just up there (Mt. Charleston) thats is where I would really like to live it was great took the wife and baby BTW if you use that site I mentioned you don't have to go to every casino to check lines I dunno if you were aware.......on the site if you scroll down from each sport it will say vegas odds and show all of the different odds around town

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=1 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD align=left>No Juice</TD></TR><TR><TD align=left>On September 4 from 5 to 7 pm, you can bet football at a 1-1 payoff in the sports books at both Fiestas. So, rather than lay 110 to win 100, you bet an even 100 to win 100. The offer is good for straight bets on sides only (no halfs or parlays), with limits of $3,000 for NFL and $1,000 for college. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

edit: oops...for some reason thought today was the 4th...almost ran out there:ohno:
