I bet even Loren doesn't believe in talking donkeys.

Nonsense....I saw The Donkey from Shrek talking to Queen Elizabeth just last week....

I stand corrected on the most/many comment. My bad.

No comment on the universe judging people on the fly in regards to the
child rapist?

I am confident the universe will "pass judgement", per se, on someone who commits child rape because all actions have - along with temporal consequences - spiritual consequences.

This is a great video DEAC. Except that when Jesus went to Earth he didn't carry with him heavenly knowledge. However, if he was so close to the Source of knowledge of the Universe then it could have been imparted to him. Instead of affecting a few hundred people in such a limited geographical area I would think that the Source of knowledge of the Universe could have given him far more wide-ranging knowledge.

The one thing that I did get out of this video is how Jesus' miracles were such an ego-centric manifestation to one person. All the miracles were done by the one man instead of having one man impart knowledge that could be reproduced by thousands for the good of millions throughout the rest of history. The latter scenario would be a better example of benefitting mankind.

Seems sensible.

And I'd submit that in fact Christ did impart the knowledge repeatedly to those around him, but no one was willing to practice the same level of mental and spiritual discipline.

I wouldn't think the son of god would go on such an important mission and have it be such an utter failure.

The above post might be confusing as it suggests I personally believe Christ to be God incarnate (a very popular belief among Christians).

However, I do not believe that. I believe he was one of many Master Teachers who have lived among humankind going back for millenia (and including present day).

Thus no more "God incarnate" than any other human being.

Actually he did exactly what he intended to do, it was not
a failure at all.

I guess we have different criteria for measuring success. Ironically enough, god has about a 66.6% failure rate.

And many of those who are Christians disagree just as much with other denominations as they do with other religions.

It didn't do much for my tribe. And he was born in my tribe. And died in my tribe. And for that the world hates the Jews while bowing down to one. Makes no sense to me.

God doesn't exist because no God would have a sense of humor that sinister.

"And many of those who are Christians disagree just as much with other denominations as they do with other religions."

Um... name one Christian denomination that disagrees with *any* point
of the Nicene Creed, which has been in existence since 325 AD.
