I just don't get the whole thing with Woods fans. Yes, we know that you love Tiger, and to each their own. It just seems that they feel the need to gain a form of validation, almost like they are twisting people's arms to get them to 'say uncle' and admit that Tiger is the greatest ever. I have no problem debating the greats of the game in any sport, but the Tiger fanboys insist on using his recent (and assumed future) performance (not impressive in my view) to justify their argument.
Is it this way with any other athlete?
As you can see with this thread....the exact same thing can be said or people that don't like tiger. No matter what tiger does, or how many tourn he wins (94ish for those of you that don't follow the game but still feel the need to voice your lack of knowledge) it won't be good enough. People that don't like tiger have are really good at keeping their mouth shut when he wins but boy do they come out of the closet when he finishes 2nd and talk about how bad he sucks.
And BTW, If you people seriously think the players were better 20-30 years ago, than good lord yall are Freaking idiots. There were 10 guys with a chance to win back then. There is a full field and they are all capable of having "their week" and winning, unless tiger is on his best that is as we have seen 94 times.
