Im not sure how it is you think lebron is the most hated man in the NBA. his jersey was the #1 selling jersey in the NBA this year. So i guess all those fans bought it because they hate him so much? As far as him leaving. The guy not only played out his first contract but then he resigned with the team again. So after playing out 2 contracts he left because A. he lived in one of the worst cities in the world, B. his owner is a complete idiot, C. he had no talent around him. (Cavs won 61 games with him last year and 19 without him this year)

Instead of hating him cleveland should be thanking him for making them a relevant franchise for 7 years. Maybe if ownership and managment had any competence what so ever he would still be there. Do you know why Kobe, Duncan ect stayed at their respective teams? Its because ownership put guys around them that could play not guys like Anderson Varejao, (a man who looks suspiciosly like side show bob from the simpsons) and the like. If cleveland brings in a kevin garnett and paul pierce ala Boston or lamar odem and pau gasol ala Lakers than James would still be there, but no, their big move was to bring in 37 year old shaq who had missed 110 games in the 3 previous years.

Well thanks but its just common sense really. I'm not saying he is better than Jordan but come on without Jordan the bulls still won 55 games. They obviously had some talent besides just Jordan. Without James the cavs were a laughing stock. There was actually a website called did the cavs win last night .com because they lost so much. Who wouldnt want to leave that. Personally i wouldve left after the first contract

Do you not think lebron had significant say in who the cavs brought to Cleveland? The guy was basically the owner of the cavs and the cavs gave him and his entourage everything they wanted. lebron is a spoiled, entitled athlete and doesn't have half the heart, fire, and competitiveness of michael Jordan.

All the hatred for Lebron is a bit much. He's still a kid, give him some time to mature.

Think about the spotlight he was thrust into as a kid, and then think about what ass-clowns we all were around the ages 18-24, and cut the guy some slack.

Don't hate Lebron at all. Just think that he is not and never will be Michael Jordan.

And anyone who says Lebron who has more skill than Jordan is just clueless. Watch Lebron play and you realize his game is dictated by him putting his head down and running into the lane. He uses his strength and size more than true basketball skill. Also-tired of Lebron saying how tough he is all the time but complain about fouls so much....and as a wizards fan i have to bring up that he gets away with travels more than any other player in the NBA

What do you mean he had say? Do you even follow the NBA? Yeah I'm sure he wanted them to spend the max on Larry Hughes, deal for Jamison and Mo Williams if those were the ONLY options avail. Do you think he wanted to play with those guys so bad? No, but he probably knew that was the best Cavs could do.

If you think Lebrick James is even close to Jordan I feel sorry for your ignorance. He is nowhere near as skilled or even purely athletic as MJ was.

The Bulls franchise built that team around Jordan. They weren't good when he joined them but they started from the ground up which is what the Cavs were doing. You say without James the Cavs were a laughing stock...so what were the Bulls without Jordan? Think about what you're saying for a second. The situations were exactly the same EXCEPT the Bulls had the greatest coach in NBA history on their bench and a much better supporting cast on the floor.

That's because players, and people in general, cared back then and had some morals & respect.

Not these kids nowadays...

LOL, are you serious? That was meant as a joke right Hache?

No literally there wasn't much free agency back then until the 90s.

What were the Bulls without Jordan. A 55 win team that almost made the finals in 1994 the year after he retired because they had 1 of the best 25 players of all time in Pippen.

En fuego, serious question if LeBron wins 3+ rings (not saying he will but if he does) do you think people will say "oh he left cleveland his legacy is dead" or will they say "ok he is top 10-15 of all time", I'm gonna go with the latter.

People mostly hate LeBron for airing the decision on ESPN. If he would of just signed with Miami without that stupid show there wouldn't be much hate for him right now. No one can compare to Michael Jordan, LeBron isn't even close to Jordan at this point in his career. Can't compare LeBron to Jordan until LeBron's career is over, but Jordan in my opinion was the best player ever in the NBA.

Nobody is saying Jordan didn't have a good team. I don't think Pippen is one of the best 25 players of all time. Maybe not even top 50 but the Bulls did it the right way by building around the franchise and the franchise stuck with the team to make them better. This is what L James didn't do.

If he wins three rings then people will say he was a good player that hatched a plan to buy rings for the Miami Heat. That's his legacy Pats. I'm sorry you don't see this. Coach K almost kicked him off the Olympic team because of his ego and because he could not be coached. It's just the way the guy is.

This is the best quote of the entire thread. If he would've just done what Durant did by announcing his move over Twitter then nobody would think he's a giant ass.

lol....His legacy is ruined cause he hatched that plan to Miami! You sound like 1 of the dudes on 1 of those ESPN shows where they just make stuff up to get a reaction.

Also if you think Pippen might not be top 50 of all time you make me feel stupid for going back and forth with you cause if you think that you don't know bball, sorry.

How is that the best quote in the entire thread? I said that like 5 times above, maybe you should try reading more carefully.

Him being a giant ass = why people like you pretend to say his legacy is ruined.

I'm done with this thread I don't really see it going anywhere else. I'll say this though, you say a lot of stuff that I can just think is a joke, just don't agree with at all.

Cavs were "1 shooter away" yeah if the shooter was Reggie Miller maybe.
Pippen might not be top 50 all time
