As much as I dislike his character, Lebron James is a better basketball player than Michael Jordan ever was. This is nothing new either, Lebron has literally changed how the game is played since his sophomore season in the NBA. The truth of the matter is we should all feel lucky for simply having the opportunity to watch this freak of nature dominate the game of basketball not only in the United States of America but in the entire world.

Comparing young great player X to MJ once he gets pretty good is boring (Kobe, AI, Bron, Wade, etc)

Better question Hache, what is Dwight Howards next team? Sounds like Lakers but OKC/Knicks/Nets probably got an outside shot.

Lebron James had legit potential to surpass Jordan as the greatest player ever. When he joined the Heat and Wade's team that discussion went out the window.

You know Colin Cowherd was talking about this the other day. Why do people compare basketball players like this? Nobody ever compares Jeter with Yogi Berra. Basketball is the only sport where the fans do this. LeBron James shouldn't be compared with anyone else.

Is this a joke....

Lebron is not even close to kobe let alone mike

His basketball skills are not polished like kobe not even close

Lebron has absolutely no post up game what so ever for his size, his 3pt shot is avg at best he is and avg ft shooter, you can see it on his face he lacks the confidence and the will of a kobe who still practices his game every day lebron will never be close to kobe never

Not to mention when Jordan played the game was more physical and the rules/referees allowed it to be more physical. Just think of all those games Jordan played against the Pistons and took a beating from Laimbeer. These days, if you fart in the direction of L James it's a foul and might even be called a flagrant 1.

For those that didn't watch him play, Jordan was amazing..nothing like him. You knew if the game was close and he had the ball at the end the game was over. He is the greatest closer I've ever seen. Took over a game by himself like none other. You just can't say that about James and I don't think you ever will be able to say that about him.

When it's all said and done, he might be in the top five, but as of now he's not close to Jordan and he's not even the best player in the NBA currently.

I know I'm in the minority, but I still think Larry Bird is the best player I've ever seen.

Lebron skill level is not close to Jordan's. Hache you are right it is his size and strength is what gives him much of his advantage. Much like Shaq. Shaq was able to carry his weight very well, and coordinated. Most guys that size are clumsy. If Shaq was an average size or weight. He would of not been close to the player was.

But regardless of how they do it they still get it done

After Lebron runs over the Bulls and whoever they play in the finals all of you guys will be jumping on the lebron wagon. When you're talking about pure talent and skill combined with all around game this guy is the best I've ever seen.

Few hate Jordan more than I do, but to even suggest LBJ is better than MJ is f'in joke. Frankly, your suggestion tells me you don't know shit about basketball.

For confirmation, look at MJ's stats and LBJ's stats. MJ not only scored, but his FG% was incredible considering the number of shots he took.
