yeah, those odds are stupid. Guess laid out as he's a public fav now?

GL with the bet Harry

next stop on the bus for DeChambeau , for me anyway, would be a sports psychologist. The guy's mind seems to get in the way. Gets frustrated, face at times reads like a book. Needs a 'Tiger Mentality' , dont get too high or too low. Tiger has stated his greatest strength in his mind, and credits his Buddhist upbringing

Rory used one , healthier mindset. Paid off, he had an incredible year in 2019, only thing missing was a Major.

Bryson gets down on himself too easily. Lost his fuckin marbles out there, that was Tin Cup shit. Agree with RT, might be time for a caddie change.

- T Finau under 50% fariways yet again and shoots under 70.
-World number 2 lookin' real real good...go get'em Rahm!!!!!!
-J Day has batlled injuries for the last few yrs , nice to see him playing well
- DJ: 80-80........WTF
- 16th green may need some water!! fuck, they had a front tee and the green wouldnt hold!

Moving Day tomorrow......a win at Jack's place would be huge for either Finau or Rahm

Finau yet again hit under 50% fairways, only hit 5 today-- and with BAKED greens, finally paid dearly

BRUTAL condtions , only two players broke 70 today, one of whihc was Rahm. A win tomorrow and he's World Number 1. FOUR SHOT lead heading to Championship Sunday. He looked tight last yr final pairing Sunday at The Player's.......This would be the biggest win of his career, by far. This yr's field is stronger than the last 8 majors , and the course set-up is that of a major .

Rahm:
“Four shots on a windy, difficult, firm golf course is nothing. It's me making two bogeys and somebody making one birdie and then suddenly it's only a one-shot lead,” Rahm said.
“Whatever happens tomorrow happens, but it'll be a great test for me to learn for the future, for major championships, because this is going to be the closest thing we get to a major championship without being one.”

Rahm is set to battle not just the conditions but also the fact world No. 1 status is in his reach. He will become just the second Spaniard, joining the late great Seve Ballesteros, to hold that honor with a win as long as Rory McIlroy doesn’t surge from 10 shots back to be the runner up.
On previous occasions with this carrot dangling Rahm has failed to close the deal but this represents his best chance yet.
“It's obviously a big deal. I can't sit here and try to diminish it and avoid it because it would just be lying to myself,” Rahm said of joining Ballesteros.
“It's always tough to put it into words. Seve is a huge influence of mine. I've said many times thanks to that Ryder Cup in '97 and his captaincy and the way he inspired many not only in Spain but in Europe, he's the reason why I'm playing here today, and any time I can do something remotely close to what he did, it's pretty emotional.
“I can't lie. It's something that deep in my core as a Spaniard and as a player I would love to achieve, and if you think about it, major champions that came after him like Sergio and Olazábal never got to be, so it would be quite unique.”

enjoy the cash guys........

The World # 1 batton is passed from one Euro to another. Seve would have been super proud of the flop at #16 :)

Jon Rahm wins the biggest title of his career. Plays a power fade , yet on Championship Sunday had no problem working the ball. Approach shots to 7 and 8 were high draws. Stumbled on the back, tee shiot on 15 was big .

A Spaniard is World # 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have futures on Homa, Wolff, and Thompson
Finau scares me today but don't like his odds enough to hedge
Probably a mistake

Not hedging finally pays off!
Finau needs to figure out what's going on on Sundays. Guy has game Thursday-Saturday.
Really cool win for Thompson, refreshing post-round interview...so humble and appreciative.

led field in SG:T2G and SG:APP and 4th in SG:pUTT so he'll either run away with this thing by 6 shots or, more likely, fall back to the field as you never see a guy gain over 3 strokes putting and nearly 5 T2G keep it going

liking JT's position. He was 2nd in Approach but didn't do much off the tee or on the greens. If he can get the putter going he can win this thing again. Numbers-wise the rounds JT and Hovland put together yesterday put them in a real good position if/when Brooks falls back. Bryson also in a good spot as he drove it poorly yesterday and rarely has several bad driving days in a row

Harry, thoughts on a PGA pick'em contest for next week? if so let's get it going this weekend to see if we can maximize the sign ups which were typically in the 10-15 players range. Be good to get to 20-25

Yeah would love to do it, not sure how much interest we'll get but I'll throw it out there this weekend.

RT, Brooks' putting sure did go the other way;
strokes gained putting;
rd 1- + 3.03
rd 2 - - 4.64 including a 3 putt from THREE FEET

Todd has a 2 shot lead with big names in Fowler, Brooks nearby. Todd is a steady-Ediie, very accurate driver of the ball, this yr sits 3rd in driving accuracy ...kinda like a Fred Funk. Did implode at The Travellers with a 75 in the final round while paried with DJ. Think he's better for it......its Moving Dy

Todd: -11
Fowler -9
Koepka -7
An -7
Revie -7

whta's up J Rahm? last 2 yrs pretty much a top 10 machine ,crazy numbers. Won two weeks ago , first action back and falls off the map

Like Hatton over Morikawa today

Also like Rory to go low, but price is steep vs Fleetwood

I've faded Bryson in matchups both the first two rounds at nice payout and won, also have JT over Bryson tourney matchup; doubling down and taking Woodland +130 today vs Bryson. So hoping he continues to struggle.

If I look at everyone within 6 of the lead I think Webb Simpson has the best chance to make a meaningful move today. Can't count JT out either but odds reflect that.
