its real early , nonehtless...MIA.............J Rahm . World #2 did shoot a scorching 64 Sunday, good vibes for Thursday?

Matsuyama tee to green has been solid the last 6 rounds or so. Putter killed him last week. Led the field in GIRs and total driving at Muirfield Village and somehow finished outside the top 20, wow

DeChambeau has SEVEN straight top 10's, a former Champion . The short 14th he likely goes at with a 3 wood, maybe less...water right. Goes at it all 4 days? Hovland did this past week except Thursday , ..Morikawa hit a fuckin' beauty on Sunday; a cut 3 wood , 312 yds to 11 feet

Haven't seen odds but if Hovland is above +1800 I have to take him. Guy hasn't really had a bad round since restart.

Woods' form? Koepka appears to be all over the map. His caddie wasnt on the bag this past week, wonder why. Tough to call this group

Yeah I will probably be on Brooks to top 10 or something, usually I stay away from him in any non-major but if this one doesn't get him motivated idk what will.

https://golf.com/travel/3-ways-muirfield-village-different-this-week/

Here are three ways Muirfield Village will play differently from last week.
Faster greens

One of the most striking difference for players — though it may not be as obvious to the viewers — is how much faster the greens will play this week as opposed to last. For the Workday Charity Open, the greens ran around an 11 on the Stimpmeter. For the Memorial, the greens will quicken considerably to around 13. They had to slow the greens last week in order to unlock some different hole locations that are not possible with lightning quick greens, but more on that laster.
Different hole locations

With the greens being faster, there are fewer useable hole locations on each green. This means that hole locations should be easier for the Memorial — at least in theory. Some of the gentle slopes that don’t repel balls when the greens roll at an 11 will suddenly turn into slippery mountains when the greens roll at a 14. Hole locations should look more accessible to the naked eye, but whether or not they play that way is a different story.

Longer rough

The rough will also be a bit gnarlier for the Memorial than it was at last week’s event. The thick stuff was measured in the 3.5-inch range last week while this week it will grow to around four inches. Loose shots will be much more penal as a result.

.......................................

rough will be brutal better hit it in the fairway. Guys who r not driving it well likely r in trouble . Greens speed set up like a major; will favor those that can hit it high , tough to hold

hmm, wonder if DeChambeau dials it back a bit, hits more 3 woods

for historical perspective 2 years ago Bryson was 60/1 when he won The Memorial, this week he's 10/1

I like Ancer at that # as well

unfortunately looks like everyone does :(

also added Rose 65/1...was priced up because of poor round last week when he was 20/1

as much as I love JT I wouldn't be anywhere near him this week and played Rory h2h before he pulled out. The two betting favs, JT and Bryson, are unplayable at 10/1 and 11/1

If you're gonna average 360 it's pretty hard not to win - and he is an excellent putter too - on a links course - when he catches it right down the middle - he will be driving near 425 not problem

Need to fix this - on a links course he will drive the short par 5's - he just drove it 423 at the Memorial

From the aerial it looks like it did not even land in the fairway - looks like the first hop was out of the first cut

i remember when Tiger first came along and, after watching guys like Couples and Els swing calmly, he went after every drive like a psycho. Immediately said he'd have back problems

well Bryson takes that swing speed to an unseen level. With adding that much bulk to a frame and swinging that hard he'll be on the shelf for long periods of his career.

now that being said he's already hit two 400+ yard drives today :)

He’s fun to watch but not if he’s going to be an idiot - back to back to back blind 3 woods from the deep rough up hill about 270 with a bend - at some point bogey is not the end of ur round

Would be a gift if he missed the cut, have a huge wager on Cantlay over Bryson for tournament.

and there is it...

a TEN on a par 5 to push him up to +6 meaning he needs to birdie 16-17-18 to make the cut

how the fuck does his caddy allow him to hit blind 3-woods off the side of the hill...not once, not twice, but 3x?
