It’s not nearly as outlandish as saying kaperknick and Lamar would be living under a bridge soon....like you said.
My mom always said "Mind your own business and let others mind theirs"...I bet the Mchuckles are wishing they just minded their own business right about now.Christ, now there’s a text message from the local police to the owner of the house saying “If you have any problems, call your neighbor McMichael.”
It looks like the older McMichael was actively looking to be a vigilante and the local police empowered him to be one.
The wrongful death lawsuit against the police just got interesting.

Why? There's a neighborhood one over from mine where a few cops live. I've heard a couple of my neighbors say that's a good thing. They feel safer knowing that.

Come on you are smarter than that...Um, So, the police texted the owner of the house telling him there is a police officer living in the neighborhood, and you take that to mean:
"McMichael was actively looking to be a vigilante and the local police empowered him to be one"
Do you realize how fucking stupid that sounds?

Mac is saying the retired cop had no authority to do anything a normal citizen does...Far different from police arresting powers. In other words the Mchuckles couldn’t do a damn thing more than you or I have the authority to do.
To be honest Mac has a very good point. The actual police department(if the text message part is true) should also be responsible for the killing of the guy if the told Mchuckles sr. to do anything other than call them.
I am pretty certain if the department spoke to the Mchuckles they told them to simply CALL them if they saw anything suspicious...Not chase the guy down with loaded weapons and try to detain him or shoot him.
