hey OMT,
do you know if the gambling age in the US 21 or 18? thanks

If you are speaking of on site gambling, like Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Indian properties, etc., I believe the age is 21 although this may vary from state to state.

Not sure this is the best site but many players use wagerweb. I posted a thread in the Offshore Forum. Let's see if we can get others opinions. This question has been asked many times before. Hopefully, we'll get additional comments.

First off welcome to the RX. Normally books don't use "0" but rather "Pick" or "Even". This means neither side is either giving or getting points. Whichever team you bet just has to win the game for you to win your bet. No points involved.

Hey omt,
Today i had 3 different parlays all winning and all of them waiting the result of the same game which had not started. Many people said you MUST hedge parlays cause in the long run it will always help you. Can you please explain how to hedge for me?? some said find out the winnings, and bet half of what you would win on the other team to cover yourself so your guaranteed to win. thanks for the help

Capper Systems

Hey OMT,

I'm new to the site and wanted to learn more about capping my own games. I've played the "hunch" based on simple systems I use for years with moderate success. I wanted to know where I can study systems in use by cappers today. Any help?

CHIboy:

Much of what you stated is correct. To hedge a parlay, you must calculate what your winnings will be if the team wins in the last game, which had not started, what your profit will be. Then play the opposite team from the one on your parlay in such an amount that you would show a profit no matter which team wins. That being said, you have to be careful that the line has not moved on the last game, such that you could lose both the parlay and the hedge. This is commonly referred to as a "Polish Middle". Also, there is no "MUST" to you having to hedge. It is a determination of risk. Some will hold and not hedge, hoping to cash the entire ticket, while others will hedge for the guaranteed winnings. It is really up to you to decide which is best for you.

First of all welcome to the RX. As to your question, there hundreds of trends and systems available. Books on different sports can be found in the largest bookstore on gambling anywhere, located in Las Vegas. The website link is shown below. The owner is Howard Schwartz. I would recommend calling the toll free number and inquire about the most current books on trends and systems for the sport(s) you are interested in. They also have a free catalog that may help you decide as well. This is just a good place to start. It takes time to master.

CHIboy:

I don't completely understand your question but I'm guessing you are asking how to find all your individual posts. If this is not correct, please ask your question once again. As to the answer, as you know, to easily get to your profile, you can either click on your username or click on the User CP in the upper left hand corner of the page, then click on Profile. Once you have opened your profile, click on "Statistics" and a menu will pop up "Find All Posts" and/or "Find All Threads" by you. Choose whichever you are interested in viewing. Hope this helps. If I'm off base, please ask your question once again.
