I hate to admit it but I lived at the Casbah for a year.

Remember the bronze elephant out front?

That place was owned by one of the meanest lady I've ever known. She ultimately changed the name to Anne Meyer's Queen Of Hearts.

I assume it still stands today?

I swear to the gambling gods I caught crabs at the Casba one night. Took a week to get rid of them.

I have no doubts. The place was loaded with hookers.

Thats right Dr. Browns root bear I loved that stuff, the soup also. You could always get a comp slip from the race book managers.

I knew Katherine. Were you the other supervisor always working when she was? If so, I'm guessing you're in your 50's?

Was she manager of the Race book? If so I knew her. I remember a tallish thin guy who was good to me. I also remember a player named Henry, I think he was an accountant or lawyer, not a bad horse player. We were always playing little Johnnys stuff.

Oh, ok. I remember he smoked alot lol, but I could always get a comp. Seemed like a nice guy.

I do vaguely remember a younger guy taking over at night but I can't picture a face.

I used to play the horses during the day at The Horseshoe and at night I'd go to either The Fremont or Union Plaza.
