How tall are you....4'5"? I currently way 250 pounds and wear 40" pants comfortably. How the heck do you weigh 220 or so pounds and still wear 40" pants. I would think you should be around 36" pants at that weight.

sportsrmylife.all my weight,was in my stomach,and upper body..im 5:11..medium build,i guess.....unlike a lot of guys.i wear my pants,on my stomach,my belly button...ive got a nephew who is the same height as me,weighs 235, wears 36s,and swears to god they fit him..only trouble is,he wears his pants,down around his crotch..hehehe....but,although ive lost a tremendous amount,ive still got a pretty good gut goin on,with lots of work to do...although my goal is 200,that wont come close to being my ideal body weight..im guessin,180,185.....right now,im 212....'keep the continue'

back out to the soccer field today..jogged 3 miles,then walked for another one....need to get an earlier start tomorrow.didnt get started til 10 today...also tryin to drink more water...up to 7 liters......'keep the continue'

Went for my weekly weigh in, I'm now at 261, was 262.5 last week.

283.5 to 261 in 4 weeks. May start my own thread to motivate as I try to lose 50 pounds. 22.5 DOWN 27.5 to go.

slacked off this weekend,and enjoyed a lot of football...got back on track,this mornin,with a 30 minute walk....rained so hard,i had to stop...'keep the continue'

start by instead of buying soda buy juice or water.

thats the first step.. eat 20% less then usual.. etc.

im 155lbs and 5'10. and I have been trying forever now to gain 20 pounds but its like impossible.. good luck on losing it

GREAT THREAD. NEW TO THIS SITE.

I AM 5'10" AND 255 LBS. SICK OF THIS SHIT. I MUST STOP THE INSANITY:ughhh:

WHERE DO I START? THE GYM? WALKING THEN GYM? I KNOW I EAT NOTHING BUT SHIT. I KNOW THAT I DRINK TOO MANY COKES.

I WAS WATCHING THE TV SHOW "THE BIGGEST LOSER" AND ONE OF THE TRAINERS SAID THE FIRST START WOULD BE TO STOP DRINKING SODAS. I HAVE STARTED BUYING BOTTLED WATER AND CUTTING BACK ON THE COKES.

HELP.......

i make a point,of watchin,'the bigges loser'...need to remember what it looks and feels like,to be obese......my advice is...do 2 things,startin riht now.....get your diet in check..start eatin whole foods..cut out all processed stuff..sugar,white flour....this stuff is terrible.....learn how to cook,veggies,so they taste good..use ms dash..vinegar..black pepper..onions...peppers,etc,to liven stuff up.....learn how to cook beans....crockpot,is mandatory........then,get out every mornin,and walk for 45 minutes,to an hour...no excuses.....throw in a bit of weight trainin,in the evenin,or every other day......next..read this whole thread,and you will see,that this aint easy..talk is cheap...look at how many guys,who started off like a bat out of hell,and after a month or two,when they see how hard it is,they give up.....you have either had enough of bein fat,or you havent......now the good news....exercisin,and takin care of myself,is the most rewarding thing ive ever done....when i was 295,i was embarrassed,to walk down the street,now,at 212,im embarrassed for all the fat people,that i see,when im out walkin....last but not least..set yourself,a long term goal,that is realistic,annnd,attainable....keep the continue'

Mr Hog nuts your postings are an inspiration to me ......you have suceeded in changing your unhealthy lifestyle to a positive one, I will make you a role model to emulate at present my weight is 223 height 5'11'' age 56 my goal is to incorporate my knowledge into action , I have been walking daily 40-60minutes daily 5-6 days a week. My physical condition is good /need to loose fat around midsection, Sloth and gluttony are my downfalls :nopityA:any encouragement or suggestions welcomed

edge,i think everybody,pretty much,KNOWS,what to do,but doin it,is another matter....either you are willing to pay the price,or you arent...it really,boils down to that.....you were ready to change,if you hadnt been,nobody on earth,could have inspired,or motivated ye..da edge,is the one who goes out there,and gets it done...buuut,i do appreciate,the kind words....ill be 56 yrs young,in april!!! yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeha.....'keep the continue'

edge,in my experience,attitude is everything...its great,that you decided to nip this in the bud.....222,aint so bad...first thing i learned,was to stop the insanity,and make sure,i didnt GAIN, any more weight....itmight not,come off,as fast as i want it to,buuut,it WILL,come off...if i...'keep the continue'
