after i drank my decaf,and a quart of water,i put on some long pants,and headed out....i didnt like it none,cause i got started so late,but that mountain was on my mind all night..i had to conquer,or be conquered...at the very top of this mountain,i found some pretty good walkin,you cant go too fast,because of all the fallen trees,limbs,etc,that you encounter,so i just took what the trail gave me...a couple times,i stopped to check out different rock formations,the bigger trees,etc.....after walkin the ridge,for about a mile,i descended the mountain,and wound up in some farmers cattle and hay field...found a good sized pond,that looked like it might have some catfish in it...hmmmm......on my way back,instead of climbin back up the mountain,i sort of went around it,and found a path of lesser resistance,than the top of the ridge..by this time,id been out for 1 hr 20 minutes,and those long bluejeans were gettin heavy...luckily,this trail came out,on the other side of the road,from where i started...2 HOURS ON THE NOSE...YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHA...TAKE THAT,FAT CELLS...by the time i got home,it was 90 degrees,and i was a thirsty mfer.......aint nothin like,findin a new place to walk.......'keep the continue'

GREAT THREAD, very motivational. JUST FOUND it after I pooped GREEN (maybe my all protein diet>?) this morning and wanted to see if this was common and asked in this forum.

Well I went to a weight-loss doctor here in FLA on FRIDAY Aug 10 and was weighing 283.5, (I'm 6'3") they give pills and a B-12 shot in the arm one week later I'm at 270 (same scale official weigh in) when I weighed in at the office. 13.5 lost in one week I felt so good (the most they ever saw lost was 15 and they have seen 100's of patients there), I will have weekly visits and weigh in's. I'll update hopefully with success. CONGRATS TO YOU. My goal is 235 Short term. Then hope hope to gradually lose another 10 thereafter.

parked at the bank,and did my usual routine..55 minutes.....i got out there late,(10 a m),but it wasnt too hot,and the humidity was 50%.....only reason i didnt go back to the mountain,was i didnt want to put on those heavy pants..hehehe....too hot..plenty of time for that this fall....'keep the continue"

5teamparlay,i appreciate your well wishes,but i must ask you one thing...how is takin a pill.helpin you to address your problem? what i found out was,i needed to learn how to eat right,and exercise...i tried the pills,but it didnt work for me...as soon as i quit takin them,my appetite came back,and i ate everything in the fkn house...the problem was,i hadnt identified the problem,much less,dealt with it......., found out, i was addicted to sugar,thats why my appetite was never satiated....id eat all day,every day,and i was never satisfied.....all that stopped.when i dropped sugar,and white flour,from my menu.....now that my body is back closer to normal,i can eat anything i want,because ive learned how to balance what i eat.....i have icecream or cookies,occasionally,but its after ive ate my protein and veggies......ftp,losin that weight is great....please take advantage of your momentum,and get out yer walkin shoes....i cant imagine, how dull, life would be,without my daily stroll..its as much a part of my life,as eatin and sleepin....'keep the continue'

The pills are just first to get one started, some multi-vitamins (as one is on a low carb diet to start off). One also has to drink a gallon of water a day as well at first. After that you are on the ZONE diet. Don't feel a bit hungry and have tons of energy. But the program does stress exercise as well. I have a pool and also love long walks with my 2 year old in the stroller.

Very motivated at this point. Will give an update friday.

its 8 oclock,and 77 degrees,humidity,67..was up all night, watchin the yankees and laa.hehehe.....noticed that today is the 21st,tomorrow,will make 9 months,ive been out there, fightin this fat..annnd,i still havent lost a pound,so that means,next week,ill need to lose 3,in order to stay on schedule,to be down to 200,by oct 1...probably aint gonna happen,cause im not goin to starve myself.......got to get this lean,mean,fat fightin mochine(almost) on the road!!! how wonderful,to be able to push your daughter around,in the stroller..it wont get any better than that....when my son was small,he loved to get on my back,while i did pushups,and pullups....hes 32 years old now,and occasionally.asks me do i remember that...very special......seen a guy the other day,joggin,while pushin his child in a stroller..wheeeeew.......i guess that would be strength training,and cardio,all in one.......hell of an exercise.....'keep he continue'

parked at the bank,and did my usual routine..theres a small park,beside the bank,and at the end of my walk,i stopped and listened to a live band,that happened to be puttin on a show..very enjoyable evenin.....walked for 1 hr,and 10 minutes...thats app 2 hrs today....i must point out,any day that i walk,for more than an hour,im not breakin any speed records..like today,i stopped and talked with a couple guys cleanin out a fence row,probably 2 or 3 minutes...in other words,some days,i fk around and enjoy the community...buuut,the hills,that are part of the route i take,always make it a challenge..its just a matter of,how fast im gonna go...if i crawled,it'd still be a good workout.......'keep the continue'

drove to the forest,behind the soccer field,this mornin...about 50% walkin,and 50% joggin...50 minutes worth..id like to take a stroll this evenin,but not if its 100 degrees...hope it cools off,but i doubt it,unless it rains....keep the continue'

Went to the Doctor today for a weigh in, 266.7 pounds. Started at 283.5 2 weeks earlier. Will check in agan next friday, keep on walking HOG!!!!!

walked for 1hr: 30 minutes.,,hell of a workout...then,i cleaned another load of 4x4s..2x4s..etc,loaded em up,and unloaded em when i got home...after all that,about3 hrs..hognuts was ready forsome food..today,i was so hungry,i didnt wait an hr,so my body cold burn stored fat..fk it,i was starvin...scrambled 4 eggs,and when they were about done,i threw in 2 big dippers,of mrhognuts,,'almost dangerous'chili.big plate of veggies,2 containers of water(instant coffee jars,that fit the door of my fridge perfectly),topped off with a large decaf...whewww...where is that fkn recliner...'keep the continue'
