back to the forest today,to see if i could improve on yesterdays results,,,i did the first long hill,in 8:30,10 seconds faster, and the entire trail,in 29:05,which is 95 seconds faster than thursdays effort, then i slowed down to a window shoppers pace, and did a mile cooldown....although im only pushin myself for 30 minutes, there is no comparison, from an intensity perspective,to what im doin now,and what i was doin, just a couple of weeks ago,i really believe, when it comes to exercise, cardio, etc, less is more,if i had it to do over again, instead of seeing how many miles i could walk,i might just focus on 1 or 2 miles, and try to see how much i could improve my time, from one day,to the next,in other words, work my ass off,and go home,,up until a few weeks ago,i was always mindful, that i needed to conserve x amount of energy,so i could walk x number of miles, today, old hognuts leaves everything on the field, this high intensity bidness,is a mfer in the initial stages, but you get stronger, so much faster than regular cardio,if you are serious about burnin the fat,and are in good enough health, its the only way to go...buut,i must warn any newbies who might read this,IT WILL KICK YOUR ASS,for a couple weeks,,the first day i tried it,there was little doubt in my mind, that it was just toooo fkn hard, but after a few days of recovery,i felt strong enough to try it again, and now,im doin it almost every day, although i am sure there will be days that i will do nothing but pleasure walk,,,ill probably walk 2 days a week, and do interval training the other 5,but its not written in stone,if ive learned anything in the last 6 months,it is this...the body is the boss, and the more i listen to it,the better off i am...'keep the continue'
