This thread overtakes themanej's Laurent Robinson thread as the funniest of the year. That first post is never going to stop being funny. I hope I don't ever think of it at an inappropriate time and laugh my ass off.

You want some advice? Be a parent and keep your fatherly pride to yourself.

Sadly enough, this is and was probably the best advice and idea in this thread.

The main purpose of this thread was to get some ideas on where some of the sports hot spots were in the US and where living is nice for a family and things like that. Ive wanted to move away from Toronto for years now but haven't come around to it (which will always bother the shit out of SoonerBS for some weird reason).

My kid is normal, he loves sports and I never once pushed him into loving sports nor would I ever. He is my life, I admire everything he does and I dream that he becomes a much better person than I ever was and achieves greater things than I ever will. Right now I am concentrating on having more kids and raising a family.

Im not sure why some of you guys are so determined to turn this into shit and ridicule me and my kid. I don't see why anyone would hate on someone for showing enthusiasm towards their son. The only reason I started this thread this afternoon was because I was thinking of my kid and I guess I went about it the wrong way. You guys really missed the point of my thread. Nothing wrong with showing love for your kid...guess theRx is not the place to do it. Hope some of you get to know the real me at the bash in August.

Your post is so ridiculous, what did you expect everyone to say? Maybe you had a long sleepless night and posted nonsense on a whim. But if you really believe the things you posted, you scare me.

Maybe it was but like I said, wasn't my intention to have it turn to shit or become a joke. It was an honest request for opinions on where some of the best youth sports leagues are located in the US and I added all the stuff about my kid because I was thinking about him.

Mistaflava- re-read your first post and tell us you were high or something. I know every parent, even Bob Knight, thinks their kid is better than what they actually are. But you took that mentality to a level not seen before. You're probably a good guy, you just need to live your own life and let your kid live his. He probably won't even sniff college athletics, but it never hurts to dream, if that's what HIS dream is.

I don't think im that bad a guy, just had a shaddy few months a couple of years ago when I got into some gambling trouble but have since turned things around and am living a happy life. My forum perception however, will probably never change...no biggie. I've never pushed my son to do anything he didn't want to do and he's a bundle of fun 24/7 just doing things his way for now. I guess I just came off as a bit hardcore in my original post. Good Luck this week!

No one's bashing you for showing love for your kid.

They're bashing you because you're breaking down your kid's professional sports prospects when he's 2 years old. Your child can't even SAY the word "soccer," but you're talking about his unreal athleticism and instincts? Seriously?

And you're talking about RELOCATING because of what he's showing at that age?

I just re-read the first post...and it is absolutely outrageous. The fact that you broke down his talent in multiple sports...wow. Talking about how he's all buff and shit for his age...

I seriously don't even know what to say at this point. You seem like a nice guy and I don't have a problem with you personally, but that post was unreal. I mean, you broke down his fighting skills, how well he throws a PLASTIC BALL, and his ability to tackle. He's 2. WHAT THE FUCK

Your son is a sponge who also happens to eat and take shits. There's about a 95% chance or greater that he'll never play competitive sports past high school, so don't worry about relocating; worry about him being healthy, happy, and doing well in school.

But yeah, no one's bashing you for loving your son. They're bashing the outrageousness of your post. Big, big difference.

Take your justified licks and move on. Shit happens. GL, and maybe I'll see you at the Bash.

You're a colossal dickhead for trying to suppress a 2-year old from crying. IMO, of course.

I wasn't aware of any previous problems you had with posters. Congrats on turning it around.

Exactly. You can't really hide anywhere after that first post. That surpasses anything themanej has given us in terms of comedic value. But no harm, no foul. You just laugh at yourself, dust yourself off, and move on. And hopefully you learn to appreciate how fucking hilarious that was.

Of course he cries man and sometimes the best thing to do is to let him cry. He's just a tough kid who rarely cries and when I said I taught him not to cry, I meant when he falls down and things like that...I taught him to get back up and move on. Like I said, I guess I went over the top with my first post and I actually kinda regret posting it now.

You know...it wasn't even worth my time, but since you said everything I wanted to say...thanks skins.

No where is that thread with the guy who has a 16-month-old that laughs when he farts. That's talent. I taught my 3-year-old to ask his pre-school teachers to pull his finger when he has to fart. I hope they think it is as funny as I do.

Glad you had fun with it...LOL...on a side note, have you noticed what your boy Michael Bishop is doing in Toronto right now? Boy tore it up in his first start of the season for the Argos. I used to work for the team a few years back and he was one of the nicest guys to hang around with...kid has an arm and a half.

Move to Freeport, Ny....You can raise him right near your boy Flav. Living there will make him a man

And i thought i was doing good because my 2yo took a shit on the toilet last week.:monsters-

I hope Mister was kidding. Otherwise its the biggest bunch of horseshit i heard on here in a long time (other then the guy who is going to move to vegas and live in a travel trailer while earning a living as a $100 a game pro sports gambler, lol).

what is wrong with Freeport,

great fishing boats over their. (Nautical mile)

Volleyball: I suck at volleyball and always have. My wife was one of the best high school players in the city back in the day and she regularly plays with her brothers and sisters when we are at the in-laws. However, he has never shown interest until last week when he told me he wants to play 'wolleyball'. So I threw him a ball and he positioned his arms like v-ball players do and hit it right back to me. I was like WTF????

Any opinions on the whole matter would be appreciated and maybe in 15 years I can bump this thread announcing he got drafted somewhere.
