i'm aware of the injuries and am fine w/ thomas running the ball instead of vittatoe at qb who doesn't give you much to get excited about... jackson returning is more important imo and expect an effective ground game with him and thomas

Trent, any concerns about the Illini's statistically weak run defense? What do you think about Indiana/MSU?

Thanks and good luck.

i am a little concerned w/ their defensive play and i think this game will be high scoring but was hoping the total wouldn't be as high as it was set so will pass

i just feel there's way too many points for a conference game against two solid teams...they've played each other close their last 2 games and would expect the same...even though illinois was ranked ahead of psu before the season i had penn st ahead. but 4 games against no one and all of a sudden they're 14.5 favs

they finally play a qb and finally play a defensive line... this is the same spread as the oregon st game, and illinois is much better... to me this should be 11.5 at the most, once you go over 14 you pretty much have to win by 17 and i feel these teams aren't that far enough apart to merit that type of line

no thoughts on msu/iu as i don't usually like to lay those types of points on the road but i do feel, before the season as well as now, that indy is probably the worst team in the conference

good luck

I like the FSU total. Who do you like on the side? Tough spot for CU. Why Nebraska?

Good luck this weekend.

i'm waiting on the expected line move but i like fsu... too much speed on defense

nebraska has a veteran o-line that i feel can establish their downhill running w/ marlon lucky against an inexperienced vtech front 7

v tech was outplayed vs gtech but turnovers helped them out and were absolutely terrible against unc but qb injury as well as 35yds in penalties on their first td drive and then 2 plays later fumble leads to 20yd td drive... unc had the ball in vtech territory 3 times in 1st qtr only to score 3 pts mostly due to their inabilities (also missed fg)... if yates doesn't get injured (17-3 at time) and unc wins by 14 what do you think the spread would be..?? vtech seems to have a jedi-like mind trick over the rest of the acc but have done poorly ooc last few yrs (bowl games as well)

good luck

Trent...I think the wildcard for Georgia tonight is going to be WR A.J. Green. This kid is really good...And the Bama secondary I believe is the weakest part of their defense. I also agree on Tennessee...A better team than what they've shown..And Auburn's offense is just as screwed up as the Vols..So no QB advantage there like last week with Teabow. The Tennessee secondary will be the difference in this game. I expect at least 2 int's tonight against Auburn. As for FSU, i don't really have a big argument there. The angles favor FSU.. I just think in a low scoring game it could go either way on the line. I think FSU will look better on offense, but continue to struggle in the red zone. With 3 sophomores and 2 freshman starting on their O-Line they will be at a disadvantage against Colorado's D-LIne. Which is the strongest part of their defense. But like I've stated here, the heat and humidity could end up being the biggest weapon for FSU...Good luck.

one thing that i also think that's being overlooked, besides the fact that alabama has yet to face a situation where they can't run the ball, is the amount of freshmen on their team... this is an atmosphere they've never seen before. their top wr and #2 rb are both true freshmen, and they have 44 red/true freshmen and not a lot of seniors on their roster... not sure if relying on young kids on the road against a better team is the best case for success

as for fsu, i can see a game just like last yr...

3* iowa + 7.5

the only teams left in the b10, besides wisconsin, who still play traditional b10 football on offense... both teams will line up and run out of I-formation or 2 TE's... teams w/ similar talent level and similar style should result in a close game... mich st a little better, line should probably be 4.5 imo... iowa has outgained opponent in both losses, 5 TO's last week and still had 1st and goal to win at end of game... best run defense mich st has faced so far, might have to rely on others besides ringer

Trent...This is by far the best game in the Big 10 this week...Iowa is not only the running dogs, but the running dogs with the best defense. Which makes this an even stronger play. Getting this many points in what should be a defensive game is a gift imo...Good luck

i actually like this one more

5* illinois +3

this also could be a dr bob special so taking it before it might move

better team getting points is rule #1 for me... was last 20 minutes of michigan game fool's gold or true wolverines..?? considering one score from int td return and the other set up by 58 yd run by qb whose previous long was 21, i'll go with the former... illinois defense gets to face better version of similar offense in practice this week so should be prepared

illinois better than wisky imo bc of diverse offense and dynamic playmaker at qb, but at least as good... wisky was 4.5-6.5 fav @ mich, no reason for illinois to be dog here

good luck

I agree. This one of my games as well..But I haven't decided yet if I'm going to play it. I don't have a big trust of Zook..Illinois is the borderline running dogs in this game..But it is still very close..If I play it, it will probably be small. Penn State was my other possibitly. I see no reason why they can't lay the wood on Purdue. PSU played a better Ill. team last week.

Trent..Have you looked at South Carolina? Something tells me they're going to go in and ruin Ole Miss's victory party over Florida. As a rule, the Gamecocks play very well when you least expect them to. And this is a classic letdown spot for Ole Miss..SC isn't getting any respect because they've played a couple creampuffs the last 2 games and haven't blown them out. But this is just their style of football..I think SC has a very good chance here. They are the borderline running dogs. But I think they actually could outrush Ole Miss..SC's O-Line isn't hurting like Florida's was. So I think they might be able to gash them a little better. I'm still waing and hoping this line gets up to 3 or more..Right now at 2.5 it's begging for Ole Miss money.

to me this is too tough to call... if you feel strongly i would play it but...

if you like s car +2.5 @ miss then you should love illinois +3 @ mich... i think you can make arguments on either side w/ the sec game, but whether they cover or not, i think that illinois is definitely the better team in that game... michigan is public and this line is a direct result imo of last week's win over wisky...

i think we should have both learned a lesson from the previous weeks... look at my weekly record. my two worst weeks were the weeks with the most plays!!! and your worst week was when you posted like 15 plays as well... let's be selective... if you love a side in scar/miss then by all means play it. if not, put more on something you really feel good about.

good luck

I feel just a bit stronger about Illinois because they have a better offense and QB to work with. It will probably end up being a play for me because this is another classic letdown spot for Michigan...And as you said, they are getting good line value..By the way I'm really impressed with your Penn State team..I like that Spread HD offense they run.

yeah, i'm sick to my stomach though that i didn't take them at +500 to win the conference and 55-1 to win nc, both of which i mulled long and hard before deciding against it... i found a book with oh st +140 for b10 when everywhere else they were -150 or more so i took them figuring more experience and home to penn st in week 9...
