I'd take out this; Get 4 or 5 payed posters like Journeyman and JGold posting 10 threads each a day it will create more traffic . Then more people will start thread with the busier traffic. Add 1 poster from each sub-forum to be voted on by posters from that section as POTM then have them each pick 13 games for a week and 1st and last split what you're paying said posters above? This could keep and build.

I still dont understand that stuff. Why is Pinny illeagal or whatever they call it but 5 dimes and others are OK with everything....and to top it off, you have a huge push to make it all legal. My God, it is discussed daily on ESPN.

How many members are there on this site? I ask because it's about 12 people that have 99% of the posts. Forum does have way less traffic than it did say 5 or 10 years ago. Mods can say it's a slow time but I remember back in the day, I couldn't keep up with all the posts on any subforum. Now I can leave for a few days and can get caught up in about 30 minutes.

Speaking of mods, someone else said it above but it does seem like we have way WAY too many mods. Heck half of the 12 I mentioned that have all the posts are mods. A site with this much volume should have like 2 or 3 tops. Especially if you are getting paid.

For the most part the threads started in the Offshore are horrifically bad and uninteresting. I stop by the offshore daily and there usually just isn't anything worth commenting on. If posters want some more activity they should post on more interesting topics.

Not trying to toot my own horn but I started a Brady thread recently thats 20+ pages. My point is, the activity can be there if we start the right threads.


Also, the picks forums are fantastic at the RX

I agree with some of that , but i dont think 20+ page threads are always good either. We get back to the quality vs quantity argument. If you have a 20 page thread with 300 people posting than thats good , but if its those same 4 arguers arguing back and forth with 30 posts each its dreadful.

The best threads are the ones that get replys from 50-60 different people , without enfuego and acebb arguing.
