Didn't you bash the place last page by saying a lot of the thread topics aren't good?

You and him pretty much have the same opinion.

+1 the square is a walking contradiction, one minute he is a financial guru the next he is a semi pro poker player, one minute he asks us for tips on his man cave the next he is calling the forum and the mods out cause nobody likes him and thas too important to him, one minute he works in real state the next he is still on college. Guy cant keep his shit straight.

Not at all did I bash the rx

This place is fantastic. A place to talk to others who have the same passion as you is a great environment. Especially when sports gambling is so rarely talked about in our "normal lives"

However, it's the users responsibility to develop interesting content, not the rx itself. And that's what I was speaking on.

You bash the posters, you bash the forum. You bash the forum, then you bash the posters. It's an all in one.

That's semantics. The point is you and Chop both think the RX is underachieving on some level, so why would you criticize him for speaking on it?

I actually agree with a decent amount of what you say about thread topics, bitter posters, etc

point taken

However i want to make it very clear that I believe only the offshore is underachieving.

The pick threads are fantastic and I enjoy visiting and contributing to them daily.

The forums are what posters make of them.....just too many guys now who want to bash others at the drop of a hat......the old guard would always listen to arguments and be willing to discuss intelligently about any topic in regards to sports....too many know it all posters with blinkers on around here.....intelligent banter and discussion is the key, no need to call other posters names and shit on their opinions(unless they are touts, lol)

If you have been here since 2003/2004 you know what I am talking about....posters kept other posters in check......

The RX is fine.....it is the members who need to step it up....

I personally like my idea vote 1 poster off a week. Only problem is if it backfires the site basically closes down. So there is that potential setback.

Couldn't agree more

This is exactly what I was trying to portray in my original statement.

Indiana-- Steve Bartman has been in the Federal Witness protection program since the infamous day of October 14th, 2003 when he interfered with a foul ball down the 3rd base line that would have been a potential catch by Cubs outfielder Moises Alou.

Chicago ahead 3–0 and holding a 3 games to 2 lead in the best of seven series, several spectators attempted to catch a foul ball off the bat of Marlins' second baseman Luis Castillo. One of the fans, Steve Bartman, reached for the ball, deflecting it and disrupted a potential catch by Cubs outfielder Moisés Alou. If Alou had caught the ball it would have been the second out in the inning, and the Cubs would have been just four outs away from winning their first National League pennant since 1945. Instead, the Cubs ended up surrendering eight runs in the inning and shortly afterward lost the game, 8-3. When they were eliminated in the seventh game the next day, the "Steve Bartman incident" was seen as the "first domino" in the turning point of the series.[SUP][1][/SUP]In the aftermath of the incident Bartman, a lifelong Cubs fan, had to be escorted from the stadium by security guards and placed under police protection for a time when his name and address were made public on Major League Baseball message boards.

It has been found out that Steve Bartman has started a new life from sources recently that he and his family have been moved to a small Southern town in Indiana. His new name given to him by the witness protection agency is Justin Cruise.

He has attempted to disguise his ID by becoming a Cincinnati Reds fan.

He has had many struggles with his new life. He graduated at a top 10 business school out of college and quickly latched on to his dream job becoming the top equities broker at a major Fortune 500 company.

Weeks after this promotion he became disgruntled with this position and took on another dream job with a similar position at a much smaller company.

A few weeks later he got tired of the corporate grind and decided to become a professional handicapper and world famous online poker player.
This lasted several weeks until he got disenfranchised with all the bad beats he was suffering from the volatile game of poker.

So against his will he went back into the corporate world to return to equity trading.

Since then he got married and started building a mansion in Southern Indiana complete with what he calls a man cave. This man cave is highlighted by a huge 3000 square foot sports den with 7 90" big screen tv's and 2 fireplaces. He still gambles on sports part time.

He was recently outed as Steve Bartman through an investigation from "anonymous" the internet hacking group famous its great work exposing the Westboro Baptist cult and many other unscrupulous people on the internet.

Justin Cruise(AKA)Steve Bartman has been having a very difficult time hiding his true love for the Cubs. He has been found on a famous internet message board showing his love for the Chicago Cubs. But his reputation on this message board is legendary for mushing peoples betting selections.

Everytime he professes a liking to a team on this message board the team he parades goes on to lose in incredible fashion.

Just a few weeks ago a Louisiana man had an NBA GOY play where his team was losing by over 30 points then Steve Bartman(AKA JUSTIN CRUISE) came into the thread and made fun of his play. Immediately after making fun of the play the Louisiana guys team made a historic 4th quarter run and came back for one of the most improbable wins in the history of the NBA.

There have been countless other events similar to this in the past regarding Justin Cruise comments on this message board.

One time he predicted at 20 to 1 favorite to win a World Cup match then the 3rd world country that barely made the event deleted the heavy favorite in the most improbable fashion.

Because of his innate ability to effect the outcome of these events this causes great concern understandably for Cubs fans.
Steve Bartman(AKA JUSTION CRUISE) already cost the Cubs fans one World Series. Now he is on this message board singing the praises of the Chicago Cubs again 12 years after costing the Cubs a title in 2003.

It is amazing looking back on it how one man can have so much power and influence just with his words and actions. Who would have ever thought that a single man that is witness protection in Southern Indiana could cost the Cubs not 1 but 2 world series? Any man that can bring down the promising careers of Mark Prior and Kerry Wood should be feared.
