Fade Adams Wednesday Game Analysis

[h=4]Wednesday's Selection ...[/h] For Wednesday, 1500♦ Raise the Bar Winner #5 of 6 goes out on the Florida Gators as the double-digit favorite in the Sugar Bowl against the Louisville Cardinals. As of 8:00 am eastern time when I release my pick, the Gators are the -14 point favorite over the Cards.

The points look tempting especially when you consider Louisville head coach Charlie Strong was a part of the Florida family from 2002-09 as the defensive coordinator on 2 National Championship editions for Urban Meyer, but there surely has to be a reason the Cards are getting 2 full scores this Wednesday night in the Bayou.

Louisville also boasts a money-making 7-1 underdog mark the last 8 times they have been installed in that role. Having said that, I thought long and hard on this one, as I totally respect the Cards and their dangerous QB Teddy Bridegwater, but at the end of the day, I think the Gators SEC pedigree is going to be too much for the 'Ville, and I see this one playing out similar to last night's Orange Bowl in which Florida State just wore down Northern Illinois and pulled away for the 21-point win and cover in what had been a tight game.

Yesterday the favorite went 5-0-1 against the spread (South Carolina pushing as the -5 point chalk, and Northwestern being counted as the small favorite over Miss State), and both double-digit favorites were able to cover, making it a 3-1 run in bowl games for the heavy chalk.

Gators running game tonight, coupled with their physical defense eventually carries the night. Yes, 14 points is a tall mountain to climb, but don't be nervous if it takes us into the 4th quarter to get control of the impost. Will Muschamp's intensity will get us there.

Florida to post the Sugar Bowl win and cover.

Fade Adams Thursday Game Analysis

[h=4]Thursday's Selection ...[/h] For Thursday night, 1500♦ Lead Pipe Lock Winner #46 of 73 will be the underdog Kansas State Wildcats plus the points against the Oregon Ducks. As of 8:00 am eastern time when I release this selection, the Wildcats are +8 point underdogs both in Vegas and the offshore books.

Let's start this off by speaking about the fact Chip Kelly is entertaining offers from a bevy of NFL teams to step up to the next level next season. Whether or not Kelly makes the jump is irrelevant to me, as I feel sure his players and staff will have that notion in the back of their minds, and that cannot be good for a team as they get set to play in a BCS bowl game.

Of course Oregon was hoping to be playing on Monday night, and they probably believe they are every bit as good as either team on the field in Miami next week, but the fact is, this Ducks team slipped up on their home field against Stanford, getting held to just 14-points in that 17-14 OT loss in November.

The Ducks have gone just 1-2 both straight up and against the spread in bowl games under Kelly, and I think they are going to struggle with this lofty impost tonight in Glendale.

Kansas State can also claim disappointment at not playing on Monday night, but who really thought at the beginning of the year that Bill Snyder would have his team in position to play for the BCS crown? Not many, that is for sure. I think the fact the Wildcats like to play possession football when they have the ball with Colin Klein at the helm bodes well for an underdog play tonight.

The one game that cost the 'Cats was their loss at Baylor, and while it is true Klein threw 3 picks in that games against the lightning-quick Bears (Ducks also lightning-quick!), it will be important the Wildcats play an error-free game. If K-State does that, this game goes right down to the wire.

Remember, Kansas State has won 21 of their last 25 games straight up and they have covered in 9 of their last 11 when getting points.

The Pac 12 has had a mixed bag of results this postseason, with higher-profile schools UCLA, and Oregon State both losing outright to schools from the Big 12. Maybe Oregon gets up for the outright win to avoid the hat-trick, but I don't see them covering in this one.

I am taking Kansas State plus the points.

Trace Adams said:
Last night was a debacle, tonight I make things right!

Tonight is my night...Thursday Night!

Bottom line, I will win this game. I will not let you down on the last Thursday of the college football season for this year.

Just another fucking clown, scam artist. Bottom line, Trace SUCKS!

Fade Adams Friday Game Analysis

[h=4]Friday's Selection ...[/h] For Friday night in college football, 1500♦ winner on the underdog Oklahoma Sooners as they play against their old conference-rival Texas A&M. As of 6:30 am eastern when I release my selection, the Sooners are +3 point underdogs. If your price is +3, go ahead and buy the half point up so we get OU +3 1/2 points.

These schools are no strangers to one another, and this season was the first in a very long time they did not face each other during the regular season thanks to A&M leaving for the "greener grass" of the SEC.

I have news for you, Oklahoma will not only be looking to pay Texas A&M back for their conference departure, but also be looking to get after Johnny Football and his Heisman Trophy-winning ass!

I don't doubt for one minute that the Oklahoma players have been watching redshirt freshman Johnny Manziel make the rounds on the late-night talk show circuit, watch the sport show highlight reels all tailored to just how great Manziel is. If you don't think the Sooners will use that as motivation tonight, you are nuts!

The Sooners have gone 11-2 straight up the last 13 times these former conference-rivals have met, and OU has won 8 of the last 9 straight up overall. Remember that as wonderful a season as Manziel has had, his counterpart Landry Jones is a senior, and is making his final career start for Bob Stoops' team!

That means something to me. Manziel will have other bowl games, this is it for Jones who will not want to be shown up by Johnny Football, and it is not exactly like Jones is a stiff or his team is a chump team. No, this Oklahoma team has gone out and won their last 3 bowl games, covering in their last pair.

This will be the Aggies 4th straight bowl appearance (1st under Kevin Sumlin), and while they did win and cover last season's game, they had dropped their previous pair both straight up and against the spread.

It is very rare when you get the Sooners in the underdog role, and Stoops track record against former assistants (Sumlin on staff in Norman 2003-07) winning 13 of 17 games against former staff members is undeniable.

Were this game being played in early December when the Aggies were riding "Johnny Football mania" I might feel differently, but with a full month-plus to eat, sleep, and shit Manziel's accolades, the Sooners will be ready!

Take the points.

I will win this game, mark my words!

This clown has said the same thing the past 2 days. I guess that's the scam, just keep saying that you will definitely win tonight, and when it doesn't happen and he loses, he just ignores it and says the same thing the next day. And then when he finally does win a game he will go, see, I told you I would win it. ##)

Fade Adams Saturday Game Analysis

[h=4]Saturday's Selection ...[/h] For Saturday in the NFL, One-and-Only 2500♦ Wild Card Game of the Year is a release on the Cincinnati Bengals as the road underdog against the Houston Texans. At the time I release my selection at 6:30 am eastern on Friday night, the Bengals are the +4 1/2 point underdog both in Vegas and offshore.

Deja Vu from last season's playoff encounter? Hardly! Last season Matt Schaub was sitting on the sidelines injured, and it was TJ Yates who helped lead the Texans to a 31-10 home win and cover over the Bengals and rookie Andy Dalton. In that game, Dalton threw 3 interceptions (one returned for a TD), and was sacked 4 times, not to mention basically harassed the whole afternoon. This season things are going to be a little bit different. I am not saying the Texans won't get to Dalton some during the day - the Bengals did have some issues protecting their red-headed QB, as Dalton was sacked 19 times over the last 4 games - but I am saying that I believe the Cincy defense will be a difference-maker in this game!

The Bengals have won and covered 7 of their last 8 games, including a pair of outright wins over the Giants and the Steelers when installed as the underdog. Who Dey's defense has racked up 51 sacks on the year (3rd in the league), and have held 6 of their last 8 foes to 13-points or less with no one topping 20-points in any of their last 8 games!

In case you haven't noticed, the Houston offense has lost their way. The Texans played themselves out of the #1 seed in the AFC by losing 3 of their last 4, and they scored 16-points or less in those 3 losses! Their vaunted defense allowed and average of 27.5 points per game over their last 4 contests too.

This is the wrong time of the year to be looking to break a tailspin, and that is exactly what the host is going through. Maybe Houston wins this game, but I doubt seriously they cover it.

Go with Cincinnati plus the points.

Wow, what a surprise! No mention whatsoever of him losing last night, another game he said he would win for sure, LOL.

All he's about today is the hype of his wild card chase play.

Fucking clown... GO TEXANS!

he'll be on one of the faves, likely Seattle. He's gotten burned by the dog in all but one of the games during this skid if I'm not mistaken. Thing is, pretty sure he hasn't won, or lost, 6 in a row since Pimpy started tracking him. Has done 5 a few times though. MQ already on Seattle.
