My Analysis
He is out of prison and living in Beverly Hills.

Unlike his buddy Tarik Skubal, who is still in the Detroit prison, Mr.Jack Flaherty got a pardon from the governor and is fully exonerated and out in LA now.

Talk about a new lease in life.

First and foremost, Mr. Flaherty has been on point all year long with 15 of 18 quality starts.

How much quality? Well let's put it this way, 3 starts of 3 earned or less and 12 of those starts 2 earned runs or less.

Of his 3 bad starts 2 happened way back in April so you can throw those out.

In his last start Flaherty was looking for win #7 of his last 8 and was looking good as he went 7 innings against the Guardians giving up an unearned run in the 5th.

He left the game 1-1, a game the Tigers eventually lost 2-1.

Now pitching for a team that can score runs, he doesn't have to pitch "Tight" as they say, as with Detroit, you know runs could be hard to come by.

I believe we will see his best today.

The A's counter with Mitch Spence.

Spence has won his last 2 starts, both wins against the struggling Angels.

Prior to that, he was hammered by the Phillies for 6 runs on 5 hits in 3 2/3 innings and by the Orioles for 4 runs on 7 hits in 6 innings.

He lost both games 11-5 and 6-3.

With the Dodgers coming off a loss to this A's team yesterday 6-5, their 3 loss in a row.

Bottom line: I don't see the Dodger losing a 4th straight game today, especially against this A's team and especially with Flaherty on the mound.

This has blowout city written all over it and I am on LA in a burial.

He goes against the White Sox or A's almost all the time when it's a -1.5 run release. Lang is a total dumb ass. In the long run no one wins laying 1.5 runs. About 33% to 35% of baseball games end with a team winning by 1 run. I could be wrong but doubt it. In the history of Lang giving out plays Lang has never taken the 1.5 runs.
