The line was never +5 even overnight. Just like Lang to try to steal a half point.
To be honest he did do an update of the current line in his analysis
UPDATE: The current line is +4 at 12:30 pm EST
My Analysis
It would not surprise me in the least if they win the whole game tonight.
Strap on your seat belts and get ready for round 3 tonight between Milwaukee and Oakland tonight and if it's anything like the first two, we are in for a game.
The first meeting was at Oakland on January 4th and the home team Golden Grizzlies (-4') got the win and cover 100-95.
Trust me, the game could have gone either way.
The 2nd meeting at Milwaukee went to double OT before Oakland pulled out the win in double OT 91-87 but a closer look will show the Panthers had the game won twice.
In regulation Milwaukee led 68-65 with Jack Gohlke hitting a 3 to tie with 36 seconds to go and the Panthers had some good looks for the win but came up short.
In the first OT, Milwaukee again led by 3 at 76-73 and again, ironically enough with 36 seconds to go again, Gohlke again hit a 3 to tie it and force a 2nd OT.
Now round 3.
Milwaukee arrives to the Championship game after knocking off Northern Kentucky 82-75 as a 2-point dog, overcoming a 15-point first half deficit.
It was their 6th straight win overall (4-2 ATS) as the preseason favorite seems to have found their stride heading into the Championship game tonight.
Oakland (-4') got by Cleveland State 74-71 but failed to cover.
The game was tied at 69 with 1:44 to go before turnovers and missed shots led to the demise of Cleveland State, a problem they have had all year long.
This is a different Milwaukee team than the one Oakland last saw on January 27th.
As I said at the top, winners of 6 in a row and 10 of their last 13, they are playing their best basketball of the year right now.
Of the 3 losses, 2 were in OT against the 2nd best team in the league Youngstown State.
Bottom line: right now Wisconsin/Milwaukee is the better team and the fact they are getting this amount of points is way too many in a game I think they win.
Don't be surprised to see the Panthers shock the world and win the game outright.
