I can't believe the Rays, as hot as their offense has been, was only able to generate 1 run against the Red Sox start Nick Pivetta and their bullpen.
Shit, Pivetta gives up 2 homers against the Pirates in his last start but the Rays bats make him look like Greg Maddux last night. So disappointed.
That's a Boston pitching staff that gave up 23 runs at home in their 3 game series against the Orioles and 15 runs in getting swept at home by the Pirates.
Hell, even Detroit scored 3 runs or more in 2 of their 3 games over the weekend and yet the Rays, after back to back 11 run performances, looked pathetic.
Let's just say last night was a head scratcher to say the least.
Now we are off to the NBA playoffs and this 50 dimer tonight on the Hawks and Heat.
Feel pretty good about this one and really feel like there is a clear cut right side to this one tonight.
Let's hammer home this 50 dime playoff winner and go on a run here in April.

The one thing I hate about the Rx is the 5 minute edit rule.
I got it stuck in my head that Lang's play tonight was for 60 Dimes instead of the 50 that it actually was.

I am enjoying the hell out of Lang failing in every way. Enjoy it while it lasts. It could end at a moments notice.
Why do I say this? They have my email address and used to send me emails once or twice a week that either Lang or one of the made up handicappers was red hot and an offer to buy their picks. I haven't received an email now in over 6 months after getting them for 5 years. Sending out emails or texts is the lifeblood of sales as they have the names of thousands of gamblers who will keep gambling and buying picks if they come close to breaking even.
He also used to come on radio shows before March Madness and the Masters. I can't find even one appearance except for his prerecorded weekly podcast on Bleav where they have switched host and co hosts 3 times in less than a year. He lasts 1 and maybe 2 football seasons on radio shows until they sack him recently. Then the lying, losing and complaints from listeners pile up and they pink slip Lang. His number of shows he's on to try to reel in new clients has dwindled to a small handful of late and even those second rate shows in cities like Bakersfield and Davenport are practically worthless. Lang has to be working Uber Eats full time and maybe 7 days a week now until he makes his summer migration to caddy and also deliver food.

It seems like his reckless spending years ago right after the movie hit when he was making good money plus his wife not working and wanting to live the good life did them in. Now that he is divorced and has to pay alimony plus probably child support and rent his own apartment it's like trying to walk through quicksand. Almost doubling your expenses and not being able to increase your income much even while working 3 entry level and declining jobs is a real problem for Langer Banger. Unless he finds some rich woman that wants to support him he's in real trouble going forward.

While I don't pretend to be a doctor some of the things Lang says & does over the years leads me to believe he is a:
A. Pathological Liar which is a mental disorder.
B. Has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
C. He might have a Multiple Personality Disorder.
He obviously wanted to be a college or pro athlete and it never happened so he lies about how close he got. Anyone in the know will tell you it wasn't close. Deep down if he was asked by a close friend if he is a good handicapper I'd bet he would think he is average or probably a little above average. One time a sports talk show host asked him how many times he's had winning seasons out of the last 10 years. He answered 7. If he was asked under oath I'd guess he'd say 5-7 because there is no proof to discount his claim.
I believe he thinks he is above average intelligence when if you study his writing skills and reasoning it's way, way below average. He probably thinks he has more bad breaks than the average gambler because he mentions ad nauseam that he had the right side of the game and usually 1 player caused him to lose.
One of the few positives about Lang is he realized he couldn't win gambling and doesn't gamble more than say 1-2 bets for around $20 a pop. It appears he's saved basically nothing but has never caused to put his wife and child on the street. He probably lives paycheck to paycheck with some debt.
