While I don't pretend to be a doctor some of the things Lang says & does over the years leads me to believe he is a:
A. Pathological Liar which is a mental disorder.
B. Has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
C. He might have a Multiple Personality Disorder.
He obviously wanted to be a college or pro athlete and it never happened so he lies about how close he got. Anyone in the know will tell you it wasn't close. Deep down if he was asked by a close friend if he is a good handicapper I'd bet he would think he is average or probably a little above average. One time a sports talk show host asked him how many times he's had winning seasons out of the last 10 years. He answered 7. If he was asked under oath I'd guess he'd say 5-7 because there is no proof to discount his claim.
I believe he thinks he is above average intelligence when if you study his writing skills and reasoning it's way, way below average. He probably thinks he has more bad breaks than the average gambler because he mentions ad nauseam that he had the right side of the game and usually 1 player caused him to lose.
One of the few positives about Lang is he realized he couldn't win gambling and doesn't gamble more than say 1-2 bets for around $20 a pop. It appears he's saved basically nothing but has never caused to put his wife and child on the street. He probably lives paycheck to paycheck with some debt.
Thanks for that very profound and all-encompassing response!!

From my following him all of these years(nowhere near as much as folks like Pimp with his extensive documentation of his record

keeping and others), I do agree with everything you say.

In addition to what you say about his writing skills, while I do agree that to folks like yourself, Pimp and me, it is obvious

that what he says is full of lies, both by commission and omission when it comes to daily blog with his "record-keeping,

I do think that some of his bs and one wat reporting may appeal to those who are younger and/or new to gambling, sports

services and/or just plain naive and maybe even desperate.

Obviously, the people I cited are not familiar with this site.

Most importantly though imo and in that of most people, when all said and done, virtually no one actually buys his picks other

than for fading purposes, although I am quite sure that some of the folks I cited do play his picks if they are posted.

The obvious other question/point is that the site keeps him around because in their minds somehow he does bring poositive attention

to the other cappers at the site and at least up until now whether it is imagined or not, he does somehow increase the overall

business and/or that if he does not, it will magically change so that he does!!

Brandon Lang brings some new eyes occasionally to the site. The question is can the site stay profitable? I doubt it because they:
A) Pay the website guy probably 100K to 125K per year.
B) if memory serves me correct they had to pay Steve Budin a yearly consultant fee. Not sure what that is. Let's say for the sake of argument it's also 75K -125K.
C) Pay Lang his 50% of sales. Pay Al Rolli / Demarco 50%, or a cut of sales or a yearly fee probably in the 75K to 100K range because it seems he has no other job.
D) They have to pay the other 14 made up cappers say 10K a year to use their likeness or else they would say take my picture down.
E) The company in Canada that I believe that owns them has some expenses.
All told they probably have expenses in the 600K -800K range. There is no way BrandonLang.com brings in gross revenue above 800K a year. They have to be losing money now. It appears they are close to giving up. Why else would they stop marketing to past buyers via email and text?

Lang didn't specify that he was playing an early game so it looks like he's going with a night game. Since the NBA turned out to be a dud last night it looks like he'll try a baseball -1.5 run line game because he's only lost 1 of those recently. It usually takes about 3 losses of the same kind in a weeks time to move off of it. My guess is he either plays Atlanta -1.5 runs or Toronto -1.5 runs. It's not hard to figure a simpleton like Lang out.

I have one last question if you have time to answer:

In your opinion, do you believe that Lang acquired his modus operandi from other people like Stu Feiner, etc. and/or

was ordered to do so by folks like Rolli for reasons perhaps to bring attention to the site, or do you believe that when he posts something,

that neither one applies and that is simply Lang being who and what he is, namely Lang??

Phelps- I've never seen Lang play a game that was ML -120 as a -1.5 (+165 ) play which Tampa Bay is tonight. Remember Lang is just looking for winners so he can scream to the masses he won a big play. Why play a game that has way less than a 50% chance of winning? In my opinion he'll give out a -1.5 (-125 to -135) play that has better than a 50% chance of winning. Remember Lang isn't a bettor. He's only a marketer.

Savage - I truly believe Lang is who he is today based on his sickness that was probably evident as a little boy. Did he learn a few simple marketing tricks from Stu Feiner and Steve Buden? Probably but Lang has always had this sickness. I also believe even if you were to point out his lies with facts he'd probably still deny it or claim that the little white lies aren't really hurting anyone. While Lang isn't quite as big of a fraud as say a Vegas Dave to claim he's 98-0 or had 3,300 people buy his daily $995.00 package a lie is a lie and it's fraud. I'm a little surprised Vegas Dave although a convicted felon hasn't been indicted yet for outright scamming people. He's only been convicted of using fake SS numbers to bet and collect money. He does have thousands of victims in the last 5-7 years while almost all of Lang's buyers are Faders and wouldn't complain because they are profiting from his consistent losing.

Thanks, RidgeRider,

I tend to agree with you and your overall perspective, which for me in essence means that he was never close to being a choirboy,

and also your implication that folks like Feiner and Budin just gave impetus to who and what he already was/is.

Thanks also for your informative take on Vegas Dave about whom I was unaware!!

Embarrassing. Gutless. Pathetic.
That is all you can say about my 50 dime loss last night on the Miami Heat.
As poor a coaching job as I have seen in quite some time by Erik Spolestra of the Heat in their disgusting effort last night at home against the Hawks.
And the entire Heat team should give back their game paychecks for their effort as well.
I pray to god they lose Friday night against the winner of the Bulls/Raptors so we don't have to see their lazy, non competing asses the rest of these playoffs.
I learned my lesson about these fu#%$#king play in games last night so I am off to baseball the next 3 days until the real playoffs start on Saturday.
Last Saturday I cashed a rock solid 75 dime winner on the Rays Run Line blasting the A's 11-0.
Tonight I come right back with this 75 Dime MLB Blowout Of The Month #2 in a row as I look to go on a nice 3 day winning run into Saturday.
No better time than the present to stay hot in baseball.
LFG!!!!
