Not a bad analogy, though perhaps misdirected.

I'm not the one who starts a couple of fresh Threads in a sports handicapping forum every week with grave warnings to my fellow sports cappers about how they need to be Terrified of Muslims while living here in the USA.

I'm just the one who reaches over to lift the stylus off the constantly repeating record.

Now if anyone wishes to have such tunes playing non-stop in their own heads, hearts and homes - there is of course little I can to do to interfere.

So crank up the volume if you're so inclined

Beware, PETA is coming to get you. Dead horses of America unit.

A Muslim Sunni Salafi went Jihadist on the cartoonist who drew this yesterday. Broke into his house with a axe to chop off his head. Only his "safe room" saved him. The MSM is keeping the story as low-profile as possible.

I have seen this before in another forum, someone used it as their avatar.

It's the infamous Danish cartoon that set off all the jihadi's....now they are going after him. It doesn't suprise me that you remember it only from an avatar. Most Western newspapers were too pussy to print it.

"It's the infamous Danish cartoon that set off all the jihadi's...."

MJ as I'm sure you know.....
In the parts of the world where Islamic Fundamentalism holds power "grievance politics" and "turnspeak" are part of the playbook. Terrorists murder indiscriminately, and plan attacks against innocent people and governments they wish to topple. When the good guys hit back or try to root them out as is the case in Yemen now, they are "offended."

Grievance politics works well with the enslaved subjects and the media. It's the Palestinian Playbook expanded worldwide. Terrorists fire rockets into Israel. Israel responds. Civilians are used by the terrorists as human shields. The victims [Israel/US] are now the aggressors, as the aggressors get away with employing the, "He hit me back first!" rationale.

It's also the basic playbook of "Chicago politics"...as being played by our current administration.

Peas in a pod...less extreme here but the basic underlying strategy is the same.

This situation in Yemen stinks. We are spending a shitload of money to help the Yemeni gov't root out al Queda because they can't contain AQ's murderous outbursts in their own country. The rulers of Yemen's oppressive dictatorship are afraid of being overthrown and killed themselves. And the Yemeni gov't is made up of a bunch of crooked, brutally evil scumbags who also hate us.

Basically, the difference between Yemen's rulers and al Queda is they both want everyone in the West murdered, but the Yemeni's would rather al Queda do the killing.

In Bethlehem, Palestinian Christians Are Suffering under Muslim Intolerance - Daniel Schwammenthal

Yussuf Khoury, 23, a Palestinian Christian from Gaza, fled his birthplace just two years ago. He wasn't running away from Israelis, but from his Palestinian brethren. "Muslims tied to Hamas tried to take me twice," says Khoury, and he didn't want to find out what they'd do to him if they ever kidnapped him.

In 2007, one year after the Hamas takeover, the owner of Gaza's only Christian bookstore was abducted and murdered. Christian shops and schools have been firebombed. Little wonder that most of Khoury's Christian friends have also left Gaza.

Khoury, now a student at Bethlehem Bible College in the West Bank, tells me that Muslims often stand in front of the gate of the college and read from the Quran to intimidate Christian students. Other Muslims like to roll out their prayer rugs right in Manger Square.

Christians have only recently begun to talk about how Muslim gangs simply come and take possession of Christian-owned land while the Palestinian security services, almost exclusively Muslim, stand by. (Wall Street Journal)

Bethlehem's Exodus: Christians Flee Muslim Pressure - Benny Avni

Bethlehem is fast losing its last few year-round Christian residents as rising Islamism pushes non-Muslims away.

Islamists frown on real-estate ownership by non-Muslims - Christian, Jew or anything else. And though the secular Palestinian Authority still controls the West Bank, the clout of groups like Hamas is growing and in Bethlehem, Christians are ceding the land. Growing numbers of rural Muslim West Bankers from the Hebron area have moved to Bethlehem in recent years, where many increasingly buy or confiscate land.

Seeing the trend, many Christians have decided to sell while they still can. There are frequent attacks on Christian cemeteries and churches; Christian-owned businesses are often defaced - and government jobs have grown scarce for non-Muslims. (New York Post)

<!--startindex-->DEARBORN, Mich. -- About 15 Arab-American students at Edsel Ford High School are in trouble over a class sweatshirt they had made over the holiday break. The class of 2011 sweatshirt has the number 11 made to look like the World Trade Center Towers. The school's mascot, a Thunderbird, is seen flying toward the number.Watch: Sweatshirts Sparks ControversyUnder the graphic, a tagline reads, "You can't bring us down."The students wore the hooded sweatshirts to school Monday. They were immediately sent to the principal's office. The sweatshirts were confiscated.“What took place here today was an inappropriate, distasteful act,” said David Mustonen, a spokesman for Dearborn Schools. “(It was) totally inappropriate, totally disrespectful, and they just were not thinking.”The students told the principal they didn’t mean any harm by having the sweatshirts made.Other students who heard about and saw the shirts said they were disgusted.“I found them very offensive and I didn’t think it was funny or fun at all,” said Brittany Johnson, a senior at Edsel Ford High. The school has not said what disciplinary action will be taken against the students.“If I was in charge, I would have them expelled,” said Lindsey Winstrand. “But I think suspension is the least they can do.”The students told the principal they had the sweatshirts made at the Gibraltar Trade Center for about $25 each.

What a surprise. All the Palestinians in Dearborn love them their "Death To America" T-Shirts. Shocking! Half the people in Dearborn want the US to be under Sharia Law. A few years from now that place could end up like the places in France the French don't even dare to go.

I have never heard about this French problem, and I have never heard about the Dearborn problem either, can you provide links or can you supply details as so more research my be done?

As for the hoodies these kids were wearing, this type of graphic is at the very least inappropriate for an American high school. Common sense says that this display would be offensive and create controversy, and it appears this was the intent. Now, on the other hand, if you want to wander around middle America wearing clothing that thumbs it nose at a national tragedy you can expect a ton of grief. This was obviously poor judgment on the part of these students.

Czech Cardinal: Europe is Being Islamized

[ What I've been saying for years now... ]

Czech cardinal warns: Muslims are conquering Europe

January 06, 2010

Cardinal Miloslav Vlk, who has served as Archbishop of Prague since 1991, has warned in an interview that “if Europe doesn't change its relation to its own roots, it will be Islamized.”
“Europe has denied its Christian roots from which it has risen and which could give it the strength to fend off the danger that it will be conquered by Muslims-- which is actually happening gradually,” he said. Muslims “easily fill the vacant space created as Europeans systematically empty the Christian content of their lives.”
“At the end of the Middle Ages and in the early modern age, Islam failed to conquer Europe with arms. The Christians beat them then,” he added. “Today, when the fighting is done with spiritual weapons which Europe lacks while Muslims are perfectly armed, the fall of Europe is looming.”
Denouncing Europe’s “pagan environment” and “atheistic style of life,” Cardinal Vlk said that “Neither the free market nor freedom without responsibility is strong enough to form the basis of society. Not even democracy alone is a panacea unless it is embedded in God.”
The Czech press is speculating that Pope Benedict will name a successor to the 77-year-old cardinal within days.

The 'Israelification' of airports: High security, little bother - thestar.com

While North America's airports groan under the weight of another sea-change in security protocols, one word keeps popping out of the mouths of experts: Israelification.

That is, how can we make our airports more like Israel's, which deal with far greater terror threat with far less inconvenience.

"It is mindboggling for us Israelis to look at what happens in North America, because we went through this 50 years ago," said Rafi Sela, the president of AR Challenges, a global transportation security consultancy. He's worked with the RCMP, the U.S. Navy Seals and airports around the world.

"Israelis, unlike Canadians and Americans, don't take s--- from anybody. When the security agency in Israel (the ISA) started to tighten security and we had to wait in line for — not for hours — but 30 or 40 minutes, all hell broke loose here. We said, 'We're not going to do this. You're going to find a way that will take care of security without touching the efficiency of the airport."

That, in a nutshell is "Israelification" - a system that protects life and limb without annoying you to death.

Despite facing dozens of potential threats each day, the security set-up at Israel's largest hub, Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport, has not been breached since 2002, when a passenger mistakenly carried a handgun onto a flight. How do they manage that?

"The first thing you do is to look at who is coming into your airport," said Sela.

The first layer of actual security that greets travellers at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport is a roadside check. All drivers are stopped and asked two questions: How are you? Where are you coming from?

"Two benign questions. The questions aren't important. The way people act when they answer them is," Sela said.

Officers are looking for nervousness or other signs of "distress" — behavioural profiling. Sela rejects the argument that profiling is discriminatory.

"The word 'profiling' is a political invention by people who don't want to do security," he said. "To us, it doesn't matter if he's black, white, young or old. It's just his behaviour. So what kind of privacy am I really stepping on when I'm doing this?"

Once you've parked your car or gotten off your bus, you pass through the second and third security perimeters.

Armed guards outside the terminal are trained to observe passengers as they move toward the doors, again looking for odd behaviour. At Ben Gurion's half-dozen entrances, another layer of security are watching. At this point, some travellers will be randomly taken aside, and their person and their luggage run through a magnometer.

"This is to see that you don't have heavy metals on you or something that looks suspicious," said Sela.

You are now in the terminal. As you approach your airline check-in desk, a trained interviewer takes your passport and ticket. They ask a series of questions: Who packed your luggage? Has it left your side?

"The whole time, they are looking into your eyes — which is very embarrassing. But this is one of the ways they figure out if you are suspicious or not. It takes 20, 25 seconds," said Sela.

Lines are staggered. People are not allowed to bunch up into inviting targets for a bomber who has gotten this far.

At the check-in desk, your luggage is scanned immediately in a purpose-built area. Sela plays devil's advocate — what if you have escaped the attention of the first four layers of security, and now try to pass a bag with a bomb in it?

"I once put this question to Jacques Duchesneau (the former head of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority): say there is a bag with play-doh in it and two pens stuck in the play-doh. That is 'Bombs 101' to a screener. I asked Ducheneau, 'What would you do?' And he said, 'Evacuate the terminal.' And I said, 'Oh. My. God.'

"Take Pearson. Do you know how many people are in the terminal at all times? Many thousands. Let's say I'm (doing an evacuation) without panic — which will never happen. But let's say this is the case. How long will it take? Nobody thought about it. I said, 'Two days.'"

A screener at Ben-Gurion has a pair of better options.

First, the screening area is surrounded by contoured, blast-proof glass that can contain the detonation of up to 100 kilos of plastic explosive. Only the few dozen people within the screening area need be removed, and only to a point a few metres away.

Second, all the screening areas contain 'bomb boxes'. If a screener spots a suspect bag, he/she is trained to pick it up and place it in the box, which is blast proof. A bomb squad arrives shortly and wheels the box away for further investigation.

"This is a very small simple example of how we can simply stop a problem that would cripple one of your airports," Sela said.

Five security layers down: you now finally arrive at the only one which Ben-Gurion Airport shares with Pearson — the body and hand-luggage check.

"But here it is done completely, absolutely 180 degrees differently than it is done in North America," Sela said.

"First, it's fast — there's almost no line. That's because they're not looking for liquids, they're not looking at your shoes. They're not looking for everything they look for in North America. They just look at you," said Sela. "Even today with the heightened security in North America, they will check your items to death. But they will never look at you, at how you behave. They will never look into your eyes ... and that's how you figure out the bad guys from the good guys."

That's the process — six layers, four hard, two soft. The goal at Ben-Gurion is to move fliers from the parking lot to the airport lounge in a maximum of 25 minutes.

This doesn't begin to cover the off-site security net that failed so spectacularly in targeting would-be Flight 253 bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab — intelligence. In Israel, Sela said, a coordinated intelligence gathering operation produces a constantly evolving series of threat analyses and vulnerability studies.

"There is absolutely no intelligence and threat analysis done in Canada or the United States," Sela said. "Absolutely none."

But even without the intelligence, Sela maintains, Abdulmutallab would not have gotten past Ben Gurion Airport's behavioural profilers.

So. Eight years after 9/11, why are we still so reactive, so un-Israelified?

Working hard to dampen his outrage, Sela first blames our leaders, and then ourselves.

"We have a saying in Hebrew that it's much easier to look for a lost key under the light, than to look for the key where you actually lost it, because it's dark over there. That's exactly how (North American airport security officials) act," Sela said. "You can easily do what we do. You don't have to replace anything. You have to add just a little bit — technology, training. But you have to completely change the way you go about doing airport security. And that is something that the bureaucrats have a problem with. They are very well enclosed in their own concept."

And rather than fear, he suggests that outrage would be a far more powerful spur to provoking that change.

"Do you know why Israelis are so calm? We have brutal terror attacks on our civilians and still, life in Israel is pretty good. The reason is that people trust their defence forces, their police, their response teams and the security agencies. They know they're doing a good job. You can't say the same thing about Americans and Canadians. They don't trust anybody," Sela said. "But they say, 'So far, so good'. Then if something happens, all hell breaks loose and you've spent eight hours in an airport. Which is ridiculous. Not justifiable

"But, what can you do? Americans and Canadians are nice people and they will do anything because they were told to do so and because they don't know any different."

More Hope & Change… 139 Muslim American Planned Attacks Since 9-11 …41 Were in 2009

By Jim Hoft

Bill O'Reilly reported last night that a new Duke University study revealed that there have been 139 planned attacks by Muslim Americans since 9-11. 41 of those planned attacks were discovered in 2009.
How's that hope and change treating you?
Video Link
It must be Bush's fault.

Related… Not only were there more planned attacks in 2009 but information sharing was flagged and given higher priority during the Bush Administration.
The American Spectator reported:

When Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was placed on the British government's watch list in May 2009 and banned from entering the country, the U.S. embassy in London (and by extension the U.S. State Department), as well as U.S. intelligence agencies, were notified of this move as part of information-sharing agreements entered into by a number of Western governments after the September 11, 2001 attacks, says a U.S. State Department employee on the condition of anonymity because of concern that by speaking about the situation, their job could be endangered.

"We have agreements with a number of different countries that work with us cooperatively on intelligence matters," says the State Department employee. "A number of the treaties work through our justice departments or foreign offices or intelligence and interior or homeland security agencies. Several departments here in Washington got the information from London and it didn't trigger anything within our own system.

This employee says that despite statements from the Obama Administration, such information was flagged and given higher priority during the Bush Administration, but that since the changeover "we are encouraged to not create the appearance that we are profiling or targeting Muslims. I think career employees were uncomfortable with the Bush procedures and policies and were relieved to not have to live under them any longer."

The Obama Administration is attempting to shift blame for Abdulmutallab, pointing reporters to information that the Nigerian was given a visa by the U.S. embassy in London to travel to the U.S. in 2008, around the same time that he graduated from University College London, a well-respected university. But the State Department source says at that time Abdulmutallab was not on a watch list and traveled to Houston on that visa without incident. A year later, in May 2009, his application for a student visa to return to Britain was rejected because the college Abdulmutallab claimed he would attend was "bogus," and that red flag was shared with U.S. State Department, Homeland Security Department, U.S. Justice Department, and almost certainly U.S. intelligence agencies.

Nice personality: A Muslim woman wearing the veil (file picture). The would-be bride kept her face hidden behind a niqab throughout the courtship

An Arab ambassador called for an instant divorce after discovering his veil-wearing fiancée had a beard and was cross-eyed, it emerged today.

The would-be bride had hidden her face behind a Muslim niqab throughout their short courtship, meaning the diplomat had no idea what she looked like.

But as soon as the marriage was contract was signed in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, he tried to kiss her, before coming face-to-face with her hairy face and strange squint.

‘He was absolutely horrified,’ said a wedding guest.

‘The bride had a nice personality, but there was a good reason why she was hiding her looks behind a veil.

‘A divorce was inevitable, and the groom went straight to court leaving his new bride in floods of tears.’

The unnamed ambassador, who is in his 40s and has worked all over the world, including in Paris, told an Islamic Sharia court that he was tricked into the arranged marriage, Dubai's official government newspaper reported.

He claimed the woman’s parents sent his own mother and and father pictures of her far more attractive sister.

A legal source said: ‘Every time the couple met, the bride would do her best hide her entire face.

‘The woman, who is a physician, was very keen to marry him, as she had had very few suitors, even though she’s well into her 30s.’

Lawyers for the ambassador successfully called for the marriage to be annulled, but his demand for £100,000 to cover the cost of the wedding reception was rejected, following the conclusion of the case on Tuesday.

He had spent the money on food, drink, wedding cars and jewellery.

The ambassador’s legal team also made an application for the woman to be examined for hormonal deficiencies, but when she went to see a doctor nothing out of order was found.

‘She’s devastated by the entire experience,’ added the source.
