Guess I never clarified that I go to school in Pullman 8 months out of the year now in my 3rd year. I grew up in Seattle, so I know what I'm talking about.

And how often do you hang out in Corde Leign and other parts of Idaho.
When was the last time you visited Ruby Ridge?

You don't think there is a difference between Seattle and Eastern WA?

suspense is best... i agree, damn hippies!

it is funny how the militant right is in idaho montana and then just across the border you have some of the most laxed reefer tokin hippies next door...

did south park make an episode of this yet?! Oregon-Idaho War? Hippies vs Knuckleheads... would be awesome. Cartman would have to choose a side, prob the knuckleheads, then be compromised somehow and join the hippies for his own selfish reasons and take out the knuckleheads and ya know waht happens to kenny... DAMN HIPPIES!

Oh there is for sure, but western Washington (where I lived and grew up for 18 years) is pretty damn liberal. And I've visited Portland many occasions.

Yes, but Seattle and Eastern WA, Idaho, Montana are worlds apart, i would assume you would agree with that.

based on your assertion, I couldn't tell if you knew the difference.

What's your deal? You were trying to tell me that I live in an area that is super religious (Universities being religious deserves a hardy lol) and I'm telling you I know both sides of the coin homeboy. Again, thanks for trying to fill me in on my home state.

Of course. I just wish more people lived in Eastern Washington so Dino Rossi would have been voted in governor and not the dumbest bitch this side of Hilary Clinton in Christine Gregoire.

My point was that if he were yelling he was Jewish or Praise Allayh, that most people around the country including Eastern WA, Idaho and Montana, would not have the same respect for him.

Seattle and Portland would view him differently than the more conservative parts of the NW.

Well I can honestly say that even if he was of Islam or Jewish faith I would not think he's the worst thing this side of Osama Bin Laden. Bottomline is the guy is a winner and a leader, and nobody can dispute that.

Yes, you are a reasonable person and view people for who they are, but unfortunately, not everybody has the samething and open mind that you have.

Others like certain players based on their religion or dislike certain players because of their religion, like Rod Carew. Carew was discriminated against because he was Jewish.

Think about it, this country has had only 1 Catholic President, you don't think religion plays a part in people's view of others?

Yeah, I think it's sickening that people are persecuted for their personal beliefs. Especially when they aren't out to hurt anyone in anyway. Most presidents elected have been of some kind of faith, primarily Chrsitianity of some kind. I'll just never get for the life of me why people care so much about what religion people believe in and whatnot. Just demonstrates an act of ignorance/bigotry.

Actually, you raise a very good point, that I didn't think about. Regardless of how you align yourself politically, I know I believed that Romney had no chance being Mormon.

Unfortunately, people view Mormons in a different light.

Huh? The US is one of the least religious countries in the world. Don't forget to smoke some good weed when smoking South Park. That's what Tre Parker and Matt Stone would want you to do.

Anyway, I'm off to get hammered for the night. Good night and good discussions all around. Later fellas.

LOL, but where are you heading with all this? You've been all over the map with your posts in this thread.

Whatsmore, you're starting to sound a bit like me... pointing out the obvious anti-semitic and anti-Catholic sentiment in this country!

I agree, down with the Protestants! :pope:

Just kidding, heh.
