Crude once you quote a post wrong it messes up the whole thread

That’s fair if you don’t think heat are a top 10 team. Just saying you were the only one I saw in the thread “disrespecting them”, you said nuggs should be -1200 in the finals. That’s bigger than GS was over the cavs when the cavs 2nd best player was JR Smith.

Think everyone else’s opinion of the heat is they were the 3rd best team in the conf and pulled a few upsets. Saying a team benefitted from some misfortune (like Giannis missing 3 games) isn’t disrespecting them. They made the most of that opening. People are too espn/sports radio programmed these days.
Heat aren't a top 10 teams.

Cavs had the best player in the series(along with being one of the best ever)

I am saying people tend to overrated people or things once they lose to them...

lose to a guy in chess. "oo he is one of the best ever."

Homer gets his house back..."well we lost to the best son."

"but dad he didn;t seeeemm"

Ya, that’s fine.

I was just pointing out reading the thread you were the one lowest on the heat. Didn’t seem like that was a Celtics fan thing from what I read.

Obviously I don’t care if any of these teams win or lose unless I have money on it or its setting up something monetarily and I’m never using the term “we” to describe pro athletes so most of that “nobody believed in us bro!” talk is a foreign language to me.

Giannis got hurt during game 1 of the series. He was in early foul trouble and looked like crap when he actually played

The bucks actually won game 2 and lost game 3 when he didnt play

He played in games 4 and 5 and the HEAT won both times.

Yet HEAT fans arent throwing excuses that Herro hurt himself game 1 at halftime of the first round
Dipo hurt himself during game 3 of the first round
Jimmy hurt his ankle game 1 of 2nd round

I still don't understand why its so hard to fathom this is a true #8 on an incredible rudy like run. Is that really disrespect?

Were we all waiting on the moment that Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent put it all together?

Was Duncan Robinson some 3rd team all-nba player back in the day? Is this Kevin Love from 2011?

What exactly makes this not a true #8 seed? Because they were #1 a season ago? Also got swept 1st round the season before that...

I said i sat out game 7 after watching them game 6. I came close to Heat but couldn't pull trigger. As i also stated before the game.

Why is it an excuse though? We’re just talking bball, teams, players, their values, changing variables. If crude is handicapping the rest of the playoffs, he’s not bumping the heat the same way as if he is if Giannis doesn’t get hurt. He just isn’t, you understand this, right?

Obviously if he doesn’t get hurt, the probability of who wins that series doesn’t change as much. But ya, he got hurt in playoffs 2020 and 2021 as well (2021 they won with him hurt, trae. He gets hurt, they seized on it.

You ain’t on the team man, your mentality don’t really matter that much.

You guys also make it like the Heat won the championship those previous years.

They still dropped a game 7 on their home court to a team that would lose in 6 in finals.

Then they got pretty much crushed by Lakers in 6 in the bubble.

i guess we will have to agree to disagree. I would just take the money on Denver who has a real home court advantage(along with the altitude) along with not coming into this after an emotional 7 games series.

I think my point went over your ahead. I don’t take your opinion as “disrespect”, I take it as having an opinion about 2 basketball teams.

Even if you are significantly lower on the heat than others/market.

what in your estimation would be fair on the Heat?

Bucks were -1200
Boston was -600
Denver is -375

I already have some money on Denver (also lost some on Denver over Boston) so I hope -375 is right, I’ll probably have a better picture of the series after a few games. Nuggets are a different type of team than we’re used to so they’re a little tough to gauge at the beginning of these series.

You don’t really see teams at the highest levels this leaned into offense with some of the deficiencies they have defensively. They’re also hasn’t been an elite big man centric offense in awhile, so that’s also tougher to gauge. They’re a unique team.

I thought lakers actually did run bad in that series vs them from a shooting perspective (OMG I DISRESPECTED THE NUGGETS) and the series could’ve been a lot closer, but I also think the lakers are better than the heat.

I dunno, they should roll. But if games are close late, they did look shaky vs lakers and Jimmy could steal them. What’s it gonna look like when he’s attacking joker in 2 man game?

But no, I don’t think Miami is some 8th seed that shocked the world to get here like if the hawks or Knicks were in the finals.

Also if you think it’s gonna be a joke, why -375? Just bet 6 or less at -150 to make more money. I get some built in margin for error but that’s certainly paying up for it if you think this is 8 v 1 level

“The truth” LOL

Coming from a guy who thinks being a gay is a choice. Not sure you know what truth is

It's not a matter of me "thinking" being gay is a choice, I know people who have made that choice to go in and out of the gay lifestyle.

You're just not very bright, and are easily brainwashed by the leftist narrative.

So you bet the Nuggets at -375?

So we are in agreement. You can't think the Heat is all that good while laying that number. It's obviously not like laying -140 or something and thinking a team is slightly perhaps better...

no, I bet nuggs after they got rid of the lakers

I would’ve liked nuggs way more vs Celts than heat given odds would be way, way better. -220 range, but obviously tough situation because if Celts won then nuggs are like -110 and you’ve got way the worst of #

also have some nuggs 6 or less -150

I mean I don’t think heat are an 8 seed but yeah nuggs should win.

ROFL. You're citing biology for the narrative that one is born gay? ROFL.

Comedy Gold.

The next thing you'll tell me is that biology teaches transgenderism as well.

And "common sense" that people are born gay, when I cited "gay" people themselves that said that they
were not born gay. You can't make this shit up.
