Texas will get the nod by the pollsters.....Stoops act of bullshit at the end of the game tonight will bite him in the ass. No need to score another meaningless td. I am starting to dislike this fucking squad like I did when they had the convict Jamel Holloway running the show. 44% graduation rate at this JUCO College is fucking absurd. Texas will be in the BCS Championship game.

God I love you. I promise I (Or Mack) am not paying Publics Money to say these things. I just hope the voters see it the same way. I do think the Mizzou loss today really did hurt Texas in the computer polls, but I do think and agree with you PM that that last touchdown might've sealed Stoops' fate. Stoops is getting a little fat in the chin to I've noticed. GS, you worried about Mizzou at all?

You can't be serious. Scoring more points will hurt them? If anything pollsters will see a 20 pt win instead of a 13 pt win and be more impressed. They will see OU beating Ok St on the road by 20 while Texas beat them at home by 4. They will put OU over Texas and that is almost guaranteed at this point.

If there were a line on who reps the Big 12 south it would be OU -2000 and that would carry value. You can argue who you would rather see there or who you think deserves it more all you want, that is what will happen though. OU wins the big 12 south, it's already happened.

Bottom line, OU took care of business in Bedlam like they needed too. Fair or unfair, they will be playing in the Big XII Championship. You can bank on that.

Head to head is the only way to go....You have to remember that Texas lost in Lubbock where TT is nearly unbeatable and TT lost at OU where TT hasnt won in a bazillion years. Texas beat OU on a neutral field....what part of that dont you understand...if they played again Texas would win again. Texas is the better team and they proved it HEAD to HEAD

Couldn't have said it better myself. OU is absolutely screwed with Box's injury. I don't give a crap who is supposively the "hotter" team. I'd make an argument that Texas is the absolutely hotter team, both on offense and defense. I promise that if we were to play OU next week, Texas would be 2-4 point underdogs, and would, ONCE AGAIN, walk away with the win. WE WON AGAINST OU ALREADY ONCE THIS YEAR, AT A NEUTRAL SITE!

Nice day today Dizzle. We do know you're a Sooner homer though. What makes you so sure OU will be in Kansas City next week? In reality, we only need 14 poll voters in the Harris, and 10 coaches to switch their votes around, JUST A LITTLE. Either by giving more props to Florida for their nice win against Florida State today, giving Texas some props for holding their oponent to single digits, AGAIN, or simply coming to terms and realizing that they had messed up last week by mistakenly putting OU ahead of Texas. Alabama winning will also take away the #1 vote that OU somehow received. It's gonna be tighter than a 10 year old though. I think it's Texas.

And you're a Texas homer, what's your point? If I had to put money on it right now, It's OU.

I am a Texas homer, that's for sure. OU is the smart money, I'll give you that. I sure as hell wouldn't put it on Michigan State being ranked up by us though.

OSU was calling timeouts, OU ran the ball up the middle. Nothing classless at all, as even pro-UT Herbstreit said.
Agree strongly that OU's 46% grad rate and UT's 50% grad rate are pathetic.
I don't think either can complain if they don't get in. For me, OU has been the better team for most of the season, but in the second half on October 11, Texas was the clearly superior team. Not sure what that means.

I do think OU does more things exceptionally well than Texas, but Texas has no glaring weakness, as OU does (certain special teams areas).

I wish conferences would allow the top two teams to play in the conference championship instead of relying on divisions.

Set this Line..OU Vs. TX @ KC next week

If OU were to play TX in the Big II Championship game next week in KC what would the odd makers set the line at.. ( Yes, I know they cant play each other since they are in same division)

OU -4???

At least -4. I wouldn't be shocked to see the original -7 up there to be honest.

Who said anything about stopping Florida? You could just as easily say Oklahoma is the only team in the Big 12 with the offense to KEEP UP with Florida.

USC would be Florida also, so if we want the TRUE top 2 teams put the Gators and Trojans out on the field. That's not happening though, unless OU goes down to Mizzou. Then they might have a shot.
WELL YHEN THATS WHAT I HOPE HAPPENS. IN MY OPINION FLA & USC ARE 1 & 2. :toast:

USC Offense is horrible..... OU, Tex, or FLA would put 70 to 80 points on that N Dame team....They played a very week schedule.

You are a complete idiot if you believe this nonsense. Texas homers always choose to overlook how the refs gave them points they didn't truly deserve. How many possessions were continued due to an obvious bad call when they originally stalled?

Oh that's right, lets sweep that under the rug as it doesn't help our point. Texas lost to Texas Tech in a game that was not as close as the score indicated. Texas barely got by Oklahoma State. However you have Oklahoma who laid it on both teams.

Sorry Texas but the same system which helped you in the past will screw you this time around. The team that loses earliest always has the advantage later in the season. History has proven that & continues to show why the system is fucked up to begin with.

I hate Texas & don't feel they deserve the shot along with knowing they are not better than Oklahoma. However I couldn't say it would be fair if they got left out. I'd say the same thing for Texas Tech as a stupid BCS system should not be the deciding factor in a conference race.
