All you guys are going to be in for a let down, when no one from the Big 12 gets in.
Just watch as Alabama vs Fla ends up being a rematch
They did, and it only deserves the BCS to let TT play next week vs missouri

Woody, are you KIDDING me? Texas Tech? They just almost lost to fucking BAYLOR of all teams today, and got their asses waxed 7 days ago. You really want to see Tech next week with no Crabtree? I'll give you a break since you probably don't watch Big 12 that much. Sounds like you watched Tech twice this year, both on Saturday night primetime games. If you watched Texas this whole year, you'd absolutely think they would be deserving to go. Having to play #1 (Oct 11th), #5 (Oct 18th), #4 (Oct 25th), then go to #7 and losing on the LAST PLAY. Texas deserves to be the Big 12 South representative, plain and simple.
You are comparing apples to oranges.
USC and Oregon State are not similar teams (i.e. USC is much, much better). However, when you have 2 similar teams (e.g. OU and TX), then you can logically use head-to-head matchup.

Complete horseshit. If the comparison works for one it works for the other.
No, it doesn't.
You cannot sit there with a straight face and tell me that Syracuse is better than Notre Dame. Or, better yet, you cannot tell me that Stanford was better than USC last year.
But, on the other hand, when you don't have much to go by, and you have teams that are obviously similar, then you can use head to head.
Missouri losing today really knocks Texas win over Missouri down a notch and hurts them even more with the BCS this week.EXACTLY! Who has the #1 scoring defense in the BIG 12? You guessed it, TEXAS. No one, and I mean no one in the Big 12 has a better chance to stop Florida than Texas. ESPECIALLY with Austin Box going down for the Sooners.
No one doubts Texas has a good defense. But keep in mind that the style of no huddle quick paced football that OU runs is condusive to a high scoring game by both teams. If Texas played the same style as OU, they would also give up more points because their offense is out on the field less and their defense is getting more reps. What it means is OU scores 61 against OSU to Texas 28. But OU gives up 41 to Texas 23. Two different styles of football, but with the same results.FYI, Texas didn't allow a team to score 40 points on them all season. OU allowed 2 teams to score 40+. Texas deserves the spot. Mizzou's loss does indeed hurt. Not only that, but 8other games went the wrong way for Texas. There were 11 games that could help or hurt Texas, and the only ones that came out positive for the Horns were Wash St beating Washington, Arkansas winning yesterday, and Rice winning today.
And in this equation, do you eliminate the fact that Texas lost to a team that Oklahoma obliterated? Do you eliminate the fact that of both teams one loss, Texas's losss is considerabley worse?
It's not as simple as saying that it should be decided by the head to head results.
