Yeah nobody mentions Texas was behind most of the game to Tech. They have been lobbying their asses off and whining on national TV and quite frankly I don't think it's going to do them any good.

All you guys are going to be in for a let down, when no one from the Big 12 gets in.

Just watch as Alabama vs Fla ends up being a rematch

I would give you 100/1 odds that that doesn't happen. 1) Alabama would be a 10 point dog to USC on a neutral field, and not cover. 2) No way they have an SEC title game rematch for the title.

There is probably ZERO percent chance of this happening. If Alabama wins, then Florida has two losses and is out for sure. If Florida wins then they are in and Alabama is out because they would have ZERO good wins on the year. The only decent win is against a talented Georgia team that is very poorly coached. What's their next best win, LSU? LSU is a bad football team. If bama loses to uf they have no shot at the title, end of story.

They did, and it only deserves the BCS to let TT play next week vs missouri
:grandmais

Again, not a chance of this happening. Where are you getting these ridiculous predictions? Just trying to get people riled up, or just plain idiocy? Neither of your comments have any shot of coming true.

They should never have lost to TT.
..........................................................
Your Pac 10 Trojans lost their opening conference road test. If they had to play the 4 game gauntlet Texas did (one of the toughest in recent history), they would come out with 2 losses easy...

Woody, are you KIDDING me? Texas Tech? They just almost lost to fucking BAYLOR of all teams today, and got their asses waxed 7 days ago. You really want to see Tech next week with no Crabtree? I'll give you a break since you probably don't watch Big 12 that much. Sounds like you watched Tech twice this year, both on Saturday night primetime games. If you watched Texas this whole year, you'd absolutely think they would be deserving to go. Having to play #1 (Oct 11th), #5 (Oct 18th), #4 (Oct 25th), then go to #7 and losing on the LAST PLAY. Texas deserves to be the Big 12 South representative, plain and simple.

So I guess that Oregon State is better than USC using your logic.

You are comparing apples to oranges.

USC and Oregon State are not similar teams (i.e. USC is much, much better). However, when you have 2 similar teams (e.g. OU and TX), then you can logically use head-to-head matchup.

Complete horseshit. If the comparison works for one it works for the other.

No, it doesn't.

You cannot sit there with a straight face and tell me that Syracuse is better than Notre Dame. Or, better yet, you cannot tell me that Stanford was better than USC last year.

But, on the other hand, when you don't have much to go by, and you have teams that are obviously similar, then you can use head to head.

And in this equation, do you eliminate the fact that Texas lost to a team that Oklahoma obliterated? Do you eliminate the fact that of both teams one loss, Texas's losss is considerabley worse?

It's not as simple as saying that it should be decided by the head to head results.

Bottom line is, Texas beat both teams that are looking to play in the Big 12 Championship. Now that's a fucked up system.

EXACTLY! Who has the #1 scoring defense in the BIG 12? You guessed it, TEXAS. No one, and I mean no one in the Big 12 has a better chance to stop Florida than Texas. ESPECIALLY with Austin Box going down for the Sooners.
Missouri losing today really knocks Texas win over Missouri down a notch and hurts them even more with the BCS this week.

FYI, Texas didn't allow a team to score 40 points on them all season. OU allowed 2 teams to score 40+. Texas deserves the spot. Mizzou's loss does indeed hurt. Not only that, but 8other games went the wrong way for Texas. There were 11 games that could help or hurt Texas, and the only ones that came out positive for the Horns were Wash St beating Washington, Arkansas winning yesterday, and Rice winning today.

No one doubts Texas has a good defense. But keep in mind that the style of no huddle quick paced football that OU runs is condusive to a high scoring game by both teams. If Texas played the same style as OU, they would also give up more points because their offense is out on the field less and their defense is getting more reps. What it means is OU scores 61 against OSU to Texas 28. But OU gives up 41 to Texas 23. Two different styles of football, but with the same results.

Texas will get the nod by the pollsters.....Stoops act of bullshit at the end of the game tonight will bite him in the ass. No need to score another meaningless td. I am starting to dislike this fucking squad like I did when they had the convict Jamel Holloway running the show. 44% graduation rate at this JUCO College is fucking absurd. Texas will be in the BCS Championship game.

I hate the sign 45-35 when i saw Texas played A&M, I told my wife that soon they will cry because OK either won big at Okie st or Okie st would hand this game to OK so they can fuck up Texas. Didn't you see the last TD OK wanted to score, and Okie st had no intention to stop that play. I love to see who is gonna cry for letting out of BCS

Head to head is the only way to go....You have to remember that Texas lost in Lubbock where TT is nearly unbeatable and TT lost at OU where TT hasnt won in a bazillion years. Texas beat OU on a neutral field....what part of that dont you understand...if they played again Texas would win again. Texas is the better team and they proved it HEAD to HEAD
