I'm confused about something. If it's 100 percent certain BAS will pay as others have stated then why does it matter if the RX is or isn't involved? Seems to me the only reason you would ever need to defend yourself is if you feel there is some doubt about the story or about the money. Maybe I'm reading too much into this.

The upper management couldn’t really stay silent for much longer. Had to point out that it isn’t on them and they share no liability. Also express disappointment in how it was all handled. Makes sense.

I dont think theyre saying in any way, shape or form that they don’t expect him to pay. I wouldn’t read that much into it.

I have been out of the loop for over a week with my own issues but I firmly believe that my good friend will make good....I have known him and his wife for many years and his integrity will never be questioned by myself....I wish Mike a speedy recovery and better health.....My prayers are with his family...for those who are owed, please be reasonable and try to give BAS some time to get well and address the situation...and I hope cooler heads prevail...

I'm not saying that statement isn't true. In fact, I know you well enough to tell others its true - you're not a liar. However, We didn't know these changes. We play these contest in good faith. I would see no risk in playing in an RX/SBR backed contest.

Winners should be expect to be paid. Winners should hold the forum, management, ownership responsible - the posting audience here too, me included. Winners not being paid should be no different than a book stiffing winners. SBR going to need to downgrade there own rating. If they continue to deny any responsibility, how can you take their ratings seriously as a "protector of the player" when they stiff there own.

Kind of ironic you are even giving your opinion on a matter you help create essentially. Where did all this booking with RX customers come from in the fucking first place? You and BAS both shouldn’t be booking any action and a mod at the same forum. Conflict of interest. One “Mod” who doesn’t have any other duties but contests should be designated to running contests and booking action. If that’s even legal. With one person as a backup to him with all of his information. You guys just run a free for all and clean up the mess when there is one instead of trying to prevent a mess from ever occurring.

There was a reason you were a mod at one point and then an “Rx local” all of a sudden. I don’t care if you have 100% payout rate. You were a mod booking posters action. That’s not an ethical thing to do period. Serious conflict of interest. But I don’t really know if there was any kind of reprimand because you probably just took bookkeeping over mod duties and that was that. BAS not putting his foot down with you then and there led us to this. You don’t book bets as a mod. You just don’t. I don’t care what was said in the past it is a conflict in interest.

Since you have known him and his wife for years, could you give them a ring from the forum.

Hache is 1000% correct, BAS made it perfectly clear theRx was not involved or responsible. As a matter of fact, the "Rx" name had to be removed from the contests and a new sub-forum was created

I remember all the legalese to a "T". All the implied stuff is wrong, and it's exactly why these contests will cease to exist.

Can't believe people are giving Hache grief. The drama queens around here are showing their true colors, my respect for them will be forever tarnished because I just don't like interacting with assholes

Defying, I'm NOT talking about you my friend, just want to make that perfectly clear. I'm talking about the muckrakers, you're NOT one of them

Probably not a good business decision for the RX to allow their head mod to run contests that have no affiliation with the RX

I think that about some posters Mob, but not about defying. From my first hand experience with him ,he's a good man

A 100% payout rate doesn’t mean shit to me. We can agree to disagree. He paid you so you think he’s a good man. If he didn’t pay you- you wouldn’t think he was a good man. A very thin line Willie.

Willie - as a business owner yourself, do you find it unreasonable for guys to be upset an update from a mod or RX Managenent hasn’t been offered since they started complaining about non-payment on the 19th of January?

Probably so but something just feels off to me about the whole thing.

15 pages. 15 pages and I didn’t say a word about this situation. The moment I offer one opinion, I’m arguing?

You just said you only found out about this situation 2-3 days ago. We now know that’s a lie because Capt. Lee posted he told you about it on Feb. 3. Stop pointing fingers and own up to another debacle the RX has caused. And stop lying.

I would not ever post another posters pm here without their consent, but hache man was pm by me on 2-3 and he also replied to me on 2-3.

The pm was me asking about bas whereabouts and that I had been waiting on a contest payout.

I saw the update, BAS had a heart attack and strokes. After he started this thread, he had another stroke and doctors took his electronic devices away. Presumably to reduce stress, totally plausible despite the fact at least one poster said "he never heard of such a thing"

That's all the update I need to hear.

People should be concerned, about BAS's health. I trust he will be fine, but if he's not that's the only risk they have for not getting paid.

I didn't mention any payout rate Mob, but he has always paid me for our annual Patriot's bets :)
