They did not sucker you into anything as that is a standard/basic deal for all players considering depositing at said book at this time. It is not illegal and is posted under the rules. Even if it is in fine print, the plain and simple fact is that it's clearly listed plain as day under the rules and is your responsibility as a player to read and understand the rules before posting up at any book. If you should not understand any rule, I'm sure if you asked it would be explained to you. Blaming everyone else but yourself for your own mistake is quite irresponsible and all this bitching, pissing, whining, moaning and complaining is not getting you anywhere.

Clearly you made a mistake thinking you would be able to forfeit the bonus, which reveals you did not take the time to read and understand the rules beforehand. You are pissed that you lost your balance and look to take it out on anyone else but yourself for your own mistake rather than take responsibilty. Had you read the rules this would be a non-issue as you could have declined the bonus, placed your bet, won and then cashed out the next day. Would recommend that you apologize to skybook and staff involved and chalk this up as a learning lesson. Next time take a deep breath and settle down enough so that you know what you are agreeing to rather than go off on tilt looking to get a bet down in an obsessive-compulsive way.

You're not getting cheated or scammed, bottom line. If you were, trust me folks around here including myself would be hollaring. Time to admit you made a mistake, take responsibility and move on.

Never heard of them but just checked it out and NOPE THEY DONT HOLD ALL OF YOUR MONEY...

• Bonuses come with a 4.5x rollover requirement prior to cashing out. Customer may withdraw his winnings at any time. However, initial deposit plus half of the bonus must remain in your USsportsbook account for at least 30 days.

No i really dont think that folks around here would be saying much... because skybook is so popular here... on other forums there has been a backlash... one guy said they should be shot for that...

If its such a standard/basic deal why cant anyone provide me with the name of a sportsbook with the same policy??

I just dont want to see anyone else get suckered into the same trap that i did... if you read my original post i just told people to NEVER ACCEPT THE BONUS FROM SKYBOOK - i never said dont play there or anything.. IMO THAT so called BONUS is a SCAM plain and simple... its easy for people to say when it wasnt their 1800 dollars that was withheld from them

This is a disgusting post. Most real gamblers/player play by the rules. You accepted the bonus, so fulfill the requirements. I am seeing more and more players who are scammers/whiners, etc and it is pathetic.

i DID NOT KNOW THAT BY ACCEPTING THAT BONUS THAT THEY WOULD KEEP MY MONEY!! LIKE I SAID BEFORE IVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH ANY OTHER BOOK!!

It's not considered keeping your money when they are simply holding it until your rollover requirement is reached. Why didn't you read the rules beforehand? Do you normally sign up at sportsbooks without reading the rules? Not anymore.

You made a simple rookie mistake man. Just fess up learn from it and not let it happen again. This is going nowehere and you don't get refunds for making mistakes so why not just put it to bed already.

Most sportsbooks play by "Standard Vegas Rules".. and just like these Standard rules there are usually Standard bonus policies, which almost ALL sportsbooks follow -NO BOOK KEEPS YOUR MONEY FROM YOU THAT I KNOW OF- Skybooks clerks are trained to offer the bonus as a way to keep customers from getting paid, and to have them keep their money in in hopes that they LOSE it...

Everybook has rules. There is no standard rule among the offshore books. Depending on the type of bonus you get, Vwager and their family of books make you rollover and keep it in the account for 30 days. Guardian guaranty had a 90 day hold if you took their top bonus. BOS currently has a 12x rollover if you take their 50% bonus. USsportsbook had a 8x rollover on their 100 for 100 bonus that could not be withdrawn or bonus forfeited until the rollover was met. Again, there are so many variations in the rules. It is the players job to make sure they understand the rules and restrictions if they accept a bonus.

im talking bout the 10% Cash bonus... and i looked at guardian they give 10% bonus, 10% interest a month on your balance, and 10% per year refund of your losses and you only have to roll it over 2Xs... WHAT WAS I THINKING?? SKYBOOK JUST GIVES U THE 10 and YOU have to roll it over 4xs???

pinnacle sports

We currently offer a 10% cash bonus (up to $500) for all Internet Accounts that start with $250 or more using a Cashier Check, Credit/Debit Card, INSTADEBIT, Moneybookers, NETeller, Western Union, E-Checks or wire transfer. This is in conjunction with the ultra-competitive prices on our Website. We also cover the fees for Western Union or bank wire transfers of $1,000 or more. Please see "Deposit Funds" for more information on the available methods of deposit.
All of our bonuses are subject to the client staking at least three times the amount of the initial deposit in bets before withdrawing funds, and the initial deposit and bonuses must remain in the account for a minimum of 30 days before any withdrawals are made. For Cash Bonus purposes bets are defined as either the Risk or Win amount, whichever is smaller. To qualify, a wager must be graded a winner or loser. A wager graded as no action (cancelled) will not be included in the three times stake requirement.
Please Note for Casino Play: The information above also applies to Casino play, with the following change: Casino play bonuses are subject to the client staking at least six times the amount of the initial deposit.

Again, the point is every book has their own rules. There is no uniform set of rules. Know the rules before you play.

HERES THE TEXT FROM THAT POST..

See if they will tranfer your money to another book that they are affiliated with.

Not to let you take out your money should be a crime as you are willing to give them back the boner you never asked for in the first place.

Someone should be shot.

E-mail the url to this thread to them

Next time click one of our banners and this won't happen and if so we;d go to bat for you

You knew no withdrawals would be processed until you satisfied the rollover requirements. You admitted this was told to you, but somehow assumed it meant something else. "No withdrawals will be processed" means you cannot request payouts until the full rollover requirement is satisfied.

The terms of our rollover policies are listed on our website under the rules section.

Once you were told no payouts could be processed until you satisfied the full rollover requirements you continued to wager and now, because you lost, cry foul.

Your consistant harrassment, humilliation and insulting of our Customer Care staff is entirely unacceptable. Your are no longer welcome to wager here.

I never get involved in this stuff but someone should step up for this guy and help him out! It sounds like Skybook.com won't be around much longer if they don't pay their customers....

The book should make this right with him there are alot of other forums and ways to badmouth these frauds....
