Boston is a regular three unit selection here tonight as they fit a solid 34-8 League wide system that plays on certain home favorites off a home favored loss at -140 or higher while scoring 4 or less run on 10+ hits with no errors, vs an opponent off a road dog win that scored 5+ runs on 10 or more hits with 1 or less errors. Pick: Your pick will be graded at sportsinteraction @ Under 50.5 -110
Expert: Ben Burns
Evaluation: Sep 19 - 8:25 PM
Reason For Pick:
I'm playing on KC and Philadelphia to finish UNDER the total. I'm well aware that the new Eagles' offense is playing very quickly and that they've been tough to slow down. However, everyone else is too and I believe that this number has climbed a little too high.

The Eagles first game was against Washington, a team which has some defensive issues and which had given up 38 in its first game. Their second game came against San Diego, a team which had also given up more than 30 in their other game. Now, they'll face a team which is allowing an average of nine points per game.

While the Eagles have seen both games finish with at least 60 combined points, the Chiefs have seen both their games finish below the 34 mark. Last week, they limited the Cowboys to 37 rushing yards. The previous week, they held Jacksonville to 178 in total. The Jags' only points came on a safety. In other words, the defense is playing pretty well.

Bottom Line: I do think this will likely prove to be KC's highest scoring game yet. However, the way the Chiefs are playing defense, I still think it has a better shot at finishing with less than 51, than I do with more. 9*

ATS has a tendency to provide plays with lines that are not usually available..meaning like today they have a philly -3. Looking at opening lines and movements, the line has not gotten that low, nor does the book (local or offshore) offer it, so you are forced to buy points and then pay bigger odd differences (on losses). They also have a tendency to brag up their good weeks and go quiet on their bad weeks. Other issues with them include..overpriced, pushy representatives and when it comes to providing validation of their service, they can include their total club units in with their regular lock club to make them look like worldbeaters. They touch base all on sorts of sporting opportunities, but fb and basketball are my experiences. Also I have read blogs of people wanting to know if Bob Chase the CEO of ATS even exists....it leaves a mystery in the mind of the beholder.

Wunderdog Sports Free Pick

Game: Phoenix at Los Angeles (10:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: Phoenix +8 (-107) at 5Dimes

The Phoenix Mercury had trouble keeping their key players on the court this season. They lost 35 games from starters, but now appear to be as healthy as ever. It had the effect of making them a streaky team, as they went a stretch winning eight of nine, and closed the season playing some of their best basketball at 9-4 in their last 13. The Los Angeles Sparks were a tough out at home this season, as they finished with a 15-2 mark on their home court. But remember, one of the two losses came at the hands of this Phoenix team 90-84. Phoenix also beat the Sparks by 16 points at home when scoring 97. The bottom line is that those wins were when Phoenix was streaking good, as they are right now as well, so I think this line is too strong here on LA. Diana Turasi went for 32, and 34 points in those two wins, so she is capable of keeping Phoenix in touch here. The Sparks closed at 2-9 ATS in their last 11 vs. the Western Conference often laying too much, as is the case here. Take the points and play on Phoenix.

Where the action is: Under money betting on tired Eagles

The City of Brotherly Love welcomes Andy Reid back to Lincoln Financial Field Thursday night, as the Eagles host the Chiefs. We talk to sportsbooks about the action coming in on this game and where the line could end up come kickoff:

Kansas City Chiefs at Philadelphia Eagles – Open: -3, Move: -3.5, Move: -3

This Thursday Night Football matchup opened at a field goal at most books, giving Philadelphia the home edge. According to Jay Rood, vice president of race and sports for MGM in Las Vegas, it’s been all Eagles money heading into this Week 3 matchup.

“It’s almost exclusively Eagles money right now,” Rood tells Covers. “We’re at -3 (-130) and we’ll likely be getting off that soon. It’s good two-way play on the ticket count, but all the big money is with Philadelphia. All the parlays are on the Eagles.”

“We’re going to be big Chiefs fans tonight,” says Rood. “I’ve had to cheer for a lot worse teams than that. That’s for damn sure.”

Some online spots opened Philadelphia as high as -5 and took early sharp money on the underdog, according to Mike Perry of Sportsbook.ag. He says 53 percent of the action is on the Eagles while 65 percent of the moneyline action is siding with the home team (Philadelphia -170).

As for the total, Rood reports the majority of money in Las Vegas is coming in on the under. Most books have seen the number open around 50 and drop to 49.5 points. The public pounded the Over and the Eagles’ new up-tempo offense versus San Diego in Week 2 but are being more cautious with this being Philadelphia’s third game in 11 days.

“This is a tough spot for the Eagles,” says Rood. “Their defense has to be gassed. They’ve been on the field a long time in those games. They had a long second half versus the Redskins. The betting on the under is a little bizarre but perhaps they don’t think the Eagles have 53 plays in the first half in them at this point.”
