Yeah right? There are pros/cons to coaching in LA. Probably nice that no one gives a shit if you lose but also pretty bizarre situation where you gotta use a silent count at a home playoff game. It is a weird setup compared to every other NFL situation.
It's not just Stafford. I mean, we can get into the weeds on Stafford vs Goff, but overall, I feel those two parts are interchangeable....certainly not worth TWO firsts and a third. The luster was off The Goof after '19-20 when he struggled and Rams had a team ready to win now. Deal was a no brainer. Stafford also played at a very high level in the playoffs and it is presumptuous to think Goff could do that. You compare his '21 play to Goff from '19-20 it isn't close. You think Kupp became the best WR in the NFL precisely after they made that deal and it had nothing to do with a QB upgrade?
I doubt McVay did much arm twisting to get that deal done, that's just some ESPN narrative stuff.
They gave up 2 first round picks, not 12. People act like they gotta file bankruptcy now....Umm nah, they're just in the same boat as 15 other NFL teams, who cares? Their owner is worth 15 billion, he's good. Don't worry so much.

Also, don't forget the Ramsey trade - TWO firsts (and a fourth) as well.
That's FOUR first round picks for one season of "win now!', which anyone can do in Madden.
You don't need Captain Obvious to tell you why Millennial McVay is jumping off this sinking ship.
Also your examples would involve a small number of people and once again not understanding you point. It's very clear lol
Meaning the majority of people live their life in a bubble and only think and live their normal daily routine
If something surprising happens, they accept it for what it is and just say "oh wow"
But there are always people doing twisted things that others would not imagine they would ever do
The employee stealing from the company and doing it brilliantly
The neighbor who is a great churchgoing guy loved by the community, but is a child predator
The politician who has a great reputation, but was a compulsive gambler
Governments taking ppl out
It goes on and on that's just examples
And people are doing more twisted things than ever now
It means you have to always be thinking outside the box, expect, and be prepared for the unexpected
The phrase conspiracy theory is just an easy out or cop out for most, or they simply aren't bright enough to think deeper
If something suspicious happen, the odds are there's a lot more behind it
I think the last time they won a playoff game was December of 2000? A day or 2 before new years eve.If it were that easy, other teams would do it. They were a playoff team the year before that as well. Everyone died and it fell apart this year, that's the NFL. They also lost Whitworth, Miller and OBJ to FA/retirement/injuries.
Tomlin has 2 playoff wins in over a decade. maybe he should convince the org to make some trades?
Stafford played out of his mind in the playoffs last year and Kupp became an elite WR with him. To think Goff could play at that high a level is a pretty big leap. The superbowl ended last year on a Stafford game winning TD drive with his #2 and #3 WRs and TE all out. Yeah he must have sold his soul to get all that done, but you can't take it away from him.
Also 2 late drives in the 4th vs the 9ers, yeah he had an angel with him for Tartt to drop that INT but again, that's football. Game winning FG drive vs Tampa as well as hanging 30 on them.
I don't really care what McVay does with his life, but to say upgrading Goff to Stafford to get over the hump was a bad move is a pretty big leap. They won it all and the guy played great...Knightrofins worrying about dying before the Phins win a playoff game over here and you're hating on a SB win.
Dude..There is a decent chance McVay wins more playoff games in 2021 than Tomlin wins from 2011-2031 combined. That is kinda wild to think about.
Dude..

He could be Johnny U and they still might not win a super bowl his entire career.Maybe they get Caleb Williams in the 2024 draft and he's the next Johnny Unitas, maybe they won't get a good team again until 1 of us in this thread is dead (sadly)
NFL is a who knows when predicting 5+ years out but Rams ain't exactly a Packers/Bears/Patriots/Steelers/Cowboys type team with eyeballs constantly on them to where their future is all that interesting.
Does a fan of any NFL team really care if they dont have a 4th, 5th, or 2 of their 6th round picks in the next draft?Dude..
