As for Winky...he used to work for ESPN, and he's involved in sports to at least some extent for part of his livelihood. It stands to reason that since he may very well know some people at different levels of the sports food chain, he may have heard something he deemed valuable enough to pass along...without divulging the actual info itself.
I don't find this to be at all unusual.

No offense Salty, but as far as I am concerned, working for ESPN means jack sh!t when it comes to capping. If the ESPN people got inside info, then maybe Hank and Berman and the other MORONS on ESPN would be doing a better job making picks. They're lousy for a reason.
I used to work at my university's athletic department preparing stats for the media guide and the program. I was NEVER in on team meetings or the video room, and neither is any media member. Anyways, I always heard little tidbits of info, but nothing that was "inside info" that would predict the outcome of a game. I would understand it this was a pre-season game where motivation and game planning was a factor, but it's NOT. This is a post-season game.
Anyways, just wanted to tell you that if working at ESPN meant anything, it would mean those clowns on the ESPN shows might be doing a better job picking games.
