For some star athletes their whole identity and reason for being is wrapped around the fact that they are a pro ballplayer and all the great stuff that comes with it. I wonder if and when he gets it that he's done in the league will he do something batshit crazy like killing himself and maybe his wife also to lash out at everybody for his perceived persecution

So let me get this straight.......Rice was suspended 2 games and John Harbaugh was proud of him for stepping up and taking responsibility. They knew that he knocked her out cold......the girl was unconscious. Now because the video confirms what everyone already knew, now he's suspended indefinitely and released? I think the latter decision was the right one, but what the fuck? How does this video change anything?

maybe I missed it but did we really know what actually happened before todays video? Were they drunk and fighting and he pushed her and she fell and hit her head or something to that effect? Surely no one thought he actually smashed her in the face with a closed fist. Did they? I sure as heck didn't. Its easy to judge someone based on hearsay or a partial video of him pulling her out of the elevator.
Today, it sure seems like he lied to everyone thinking there was no video of what happened inside the elevator.
