According to the player, Rice had told teammates that he had no choice but to defend himself that day in the elevator. Then the video emerged, via TMZ—and told a different story.

Not so sure if a video would have convicted OJ. That jury was "acebb" type stupid.
The video matters because you actually can see the knockout but there is a reasonable assumption in the 1st video and ravens should have cut him right away.
I dont think the OJ jurors were stupid - the defense put the put the white LAPD on trial and the black jurors were racist and wanted to "win" if that meant letting OJ go
These players don't understand it is a privilege to be able to make over a million dollars a year for being born good at something - they don't get that they could easily be working pay check to pay check at McDonalds - now Rice is gonna learn that
You are becoming more incoherent.
Saying "what Rice said didn't match with the video" has nothing to do with the video being a "big deal"
Notice you've gone from saying "the video should have no bearing on his punishment.
To talking about Rice and his wife in the same room.
Actually they were stupid. You should google some interviews with the jurors. They didn't understand the evidence. Complete idiots.
I think espn said ray rice still gets 9 mill next year. Could be wrong about that.
Fine, I'll play this game with you. Even if this is true, what did Roger expect when he decided to interview the abused with her abuser right there? The NFL botched this. Period.
you have proof of this Chopper or is it just a guess?
ok I have heard that from someone already so my first thought was .... what about taking away all those Tour de France titles from Lance Armstrong?I am in no way defending his actions. However I do have a problem with him being suspended indefinitely only because I don't feel the NFL has the right to retroactively punish someone.
