I actually didn't see most of it but wasn't a big surprise. NE is still good but without the weapons on O and a weak run D they're gonna have a few rough weeks. Didn't upgrade outside WRs or front 7 this offseason....
Luckily they play in a mediocre division and even a mediocre conference so should still be there in the end. Be nice if Gronk was healthy for the 1st time in 4 years when the playoffs come....

Exactly the same question I have. Like when I watched it, it was a lot less worse than I thought it would be. These people that are in a hissy fit over a video but weren't in a hissy fit over the fact he knocked her out are hilarious. It's like what the fuck do you think happened that knocked her out, him gently pushing her.
The plausible deniability here is that the tape should have never been sent to the NFL and so Roger didn't get to see it.

I apologized to him 100 times for that. And the discussion started because he called me a pussy and said his children could beat me up, which I started saying inappropriate comments towards him. I still apologize to this day. Another one of those situations where someone deserves something but doing it is not ok. Perfect example!!
Yeah I dunno the direction the conversation went in and I understand the power of video but it's just another domestic violence incident to me. Sadly pretty common amongst NFL players but Rice just being made an example of because we live in an era where there is video that can everyone can see with technology in about 10 seconds.
But yeah when I heard the story 5 months ago or whenever it was, I knew he didn't give her a Mayweather jab and more of a Tommy Hearns hook...
No doubt. When I heard the story and saw him dragging her out the elevator, I thought he went straight crazy and beat the shit out of her. The video was just her lunging at him and him with a left hook. One of the simplest knockouts I've seen. I have no clue what people thought the video would have looked like. I thought it was going to be much worse.
