I don't think Goodell should be fired. He's a great commissioner. Sure sounds like he blew it here though. I say suspend him without pay for as long as Rice is suspended.
Deserving it does not mean it's ok to do it.
The NFL had the video in April. How could Rice lie to the NFL and get away with it in June? You're a real intellectual Ace.
Impossible to argue with akphidelt.
He has his own dictionary in his head and he gives words his own meaning.
Earlier in thread, he said being knocked unconscious was not equivalent to being beat senseless even though when someone is knocked unconscious, they are by definition without their senses. So despite the fact that she lay motionless in the elevator floor (i.e., unconscious) and Rice drug her body out of the elevator, she was not "senseless" according to akphidelt. He lives in his own world and uses words he doesn't know the meaning to. Even very very simple words.
again, as stated below by Ace, an unnamed "NFL Executive" and the 'NFL Commissioner' who actually met with Rice and made the punishment determination. Are we rushing to judgment here? Me thinks maybe yes.Have to disagree here. He came riding into town on his high horse like he was going to the hard-ass sheriff in town. Think he has the small-penis syndrome and now he is going to pay for it when it comes out the NFL covered this up to protect the image of itself and one of its star players. He is gone.
Lmao! Are you still bringing this up? I thought you were done with it.
The definition of "beat" is...
to strike violently or forcefully and repeatedly
She was not "beat senseless". We've already been through this and you're still having trouble. Amazing
Again, you need to learn what the difference is between an unnamed "NFL Executive" and the 'NFL Commissioner' who actually met with Rice and made the punishment determination.
Thinking: its hard, for some.
Akphidelt logic:
Rice punching her one time hard enough to knock her unconscious does not equate to being beat senseless.
But had Rice punched her twice and knocked her unconscious, that would be considered being beat senseless.
That makes a lot of sense.
Like I said, you live in your own world.
I don't think Goodell should be fired. He's a great commissioner. Sure sounds like he blew it here though. I say suspend him without pay for as long as Rice is suspended.
But by all means, keep taking up for Rice. Says a lot about you.
He spit on her twice and that wasn't enough so he knocked her unconscious and then drug her body out of the elevator like she was some huge inconvenience.
Not sure why she "deserved" it according to akphidelt. Sick individual.
