Definition of repeatedly...

over and over again; constantly.

The word repeatedly was not in your original statement. Nice attempt to move the goalposts. That's what most people do when they are wrong.

She was knocked unconscious. Looked up the definition. She was without her senses due to Rice's left hook. He beat her to the point that she was without her senses. You're incredibly simple minded.

Not a great commish at all. He has ruined the game by turning it into flag football. His desire to make the league all about scoring points and not giving the defense a chance to defend is disgraceful. He should now be pelted by non stop flags and assessed an automatic firing.
I love the NFL more than ever. Remember, he works for the Owners and has to deal with the Player's association to a large degree. It's not a dictatorship.

Congrats akphidelt. I can guarantee you have the same reputation in real life as you do in this forum (likely 10 times worse).

Try not to go on some crazy rant like you have before where you tell another poster every name in the book and make fun of the poster's children. You've got problems man. Serious problems.

as per the urban dictionary ...

Beat
(1)v. To steal or rob something from someone.
(2)v. To have sex.
(3)v. To masturbate.
(4)v. To win.
(5)v. To fight someone roughly.

1."You got beat for 20 bucks."
2."She finally let me beat the other night."
3."No ass so I had to beat my meat."
4.Philly beat Atlanta and are going to the Super Bowl.
5."I beat that kid about the head and face

beat
I went and saw Tomb Raider II last night and I beat my meat all throughout the movie to Angelina's sweet face

beat
Beat has several meanings depending on the context.

1. It can mean that someone (generally a girl) is ugly, similar to kicked.

2. It can mean to engage in sex, generally from a dominant or male point of view, i.e. "beat that pussy".

3. It can mean to masturbate, similar to whack, i.e. "beat off".

4. It can mean to win or defeat.

5. It can mean to attack someone.

1. Damn that girl has a nice body but she is beat!

2. I'm gonna beat dat pussy up all night!

3. I caught him beating off in his room, so embarrasing.

4. We beat you guys fair and square, so pay up.

5. Jamal beat up his girlfriend last night, again

Yeah people consume more football than ever yet everyone thinks the NFL sucks now, funny how that works...

Why is nobody talking about the implications of his suspension/firing assuming the NFL saw the tape back in April.

Think the player's union files a grievance against Gooddell and the Ravens?

again, as stated below by Ace, an unnamed "NFL Executive" and the 'NFL Commissioner' who actually met with Rice and made the punishment determination. Are we rushing to judgment here? Me thinks maybe yes.

In this matter, IF an NFL executive received the tape, Goddell had to see it. There is NO WAY an NFL execuitve would toss this tape aside and figure the Boss Man didn't need to see it. And if by chance that did happen, Goddell still should be held accountable because he is in charge. That is why he makes $44 million a year.

better than ever imo. I also hated it at first when they passed new rules several years ago about protecting the QB's and people were saying then that the NFL was turning into touch football. I kinda agree I admit back then. But then the QB's weren't getting injured as much so the game was better with better qb's playing more often than the back ups. Change is never easy for most. I love the NFL.

Fantasy football and gambling will do that. It isn't anything Goodell has done. These new rules make the game worse

I don't like nfl near as much as I used to. Refs have so much control over the game now.

ok lets say you are 100% correct. should he lose his job? There was no set rule for suspending a player for what Rice did back then like there is for drugs etc. There is now. He probably could have handled it better I agree. He never hit anyone himself. So let's say he fucked up. Now he has to make sure that this gets handled better if anything like this, or anything similar like this, happens again. I don't see any reason why he should lose his job over this.

He has been a step behind this the entire time. This is a touchy subject. If he just fucked it up and hasn't caught up yet, it could be just a note in his personnel file. But if he attempted to downplay this because it would make the NFL look bad and if he saw that knockout punch and still gave one of his stars just two games, he should be gone. There have to be many people out there that could be commissioner of the NFL. Dealing with millionaire/billionaire egotistic owners is the most difficult part of the job.

Yeah while some of the rules suck to watch, if you had the old rules with the new athletes then Peyton or Brady is averaging about 11 games a year max.

Yeah but that isn't the point. The point is the same people who bitch the product sucks are consuming as much, if not more of the product than ever.

I mean if people really can't stand it then just turn the channel or find something else to do, more entertainment options than ever these days.
