Poster Michelangelo wants to bet Vitterd $1K on baseball for the rest of the season. Vit won't take the bet. Why?

So if you do it next year and he wins 30k and you win 12k. Then you win 22k and he is still down 29k over the two years and he still wins.

What is the difference? None of that matters. When the season starts and ends is a completely arbitrary interval bro.

You are trying to use logic on someone who has no understanding of logic.

The words are in a thought bubble outside of his head and they do not, and will not, compute. You may as well be trying to explain Quantum Mechanics to a room full of 2nd graders.

It is the same thing.

I have much, much more money than you. You are a laughable liar and utter simpleton. We are now at example 14,924 where your previous posts refute your current posts.

Mr. High Roller.

:):)

you are broke and have never accepted a bet here.

Why did you quit posting picks after going winless in 3 sports?

Nobody said who wins the bet is a clear representation of who the better capper is.

I think what the hidden element is has to do with the fact that it is about pride to you as well. And you don't want to lose to a guy who got absolutely crushed over the first half of the season, because you feel like if you didn't get to bet him during that streak then why bet him now?

Which doesn't make a ton of sense but psychologically I can see it.

I've been trying to bang that concept into his head, over and over. He doesn't get it.

I love how he added this as if it is some big deal or something.

After pointing out 50 times his 1H record, as if the total picture can't be articulated, now he's all worried about his image here vis-a-vis a 2nd half baseball contest.

He's an insecure little boy posting fairytale gambling numbers because he has nothing better to do.

If that's the case the why ever have a bet if it isn't started from day one of a wagering career?

im not taking a bet on a second half.....it would be idiotic. If he wins one more dollars than me....he loses 60 dimes for the year and I win 13 dimes. Then I pay him for being the better capper this year. It's just a dumb thing to do.

There is a vast gulf between the price of a condo and $1,000.

He claims to have won ~$20,000 in baseball and bets $1,000 a game. He also has a solid chance to win this contest, but will not do so.

There is a lie here and I think that it is very clear what the lies are.

My avi is Margot Robbie, you don't want to be on team Margot?

WTF!! ;-)

k. Nobody really knows anyone here. We pass judgment based on what we read, our experiences, preferences, bias.. etc. Just sayin'

For me, i'm not making a bet/investment unless i feel i have an edge. THE AMOUNT is irrelevant . I'm not giving away $50 just cause its only $50. It appears he feels he doent have an edge , but will freely start in April 2017 if Mich is in

Margot looks angry. Not on her team... seriously, i have no idea who she is.Have a great day

I quoted just to get an answer.

If you believe that making this bet will be a clear representation of who the better capper is....I guess I can't help you.

He loses 60 dimes and I win 12 dimes in the year but he eeks out a win in 2nd half.....he's the winner and better capper. That makes no sense at all. Surely you should be able to see that.

Ya, I never said that Vit. I said that it's a smart bet. Never said anything about "clear representation of who is a better capper".

Of course. You don't give away a penny. The idea that " you have money you should make a stupid bet" is only said by a person who has nothing. Meet Acebb

The funny thing is, Vitterd claims he's some poker guru that has won millions at poker, and he's retired from poker (blah blah, yeah right).

But this concept is a basic one in poker as well. Say there is a donkey at your table in a long tournament, he's a bad player, but for some reason you keep getting in heads up battles with him, and you keep sucking out on him in big pots - like 10 times over the last couple days.

You don't then get yourself in a situation where you know he's got his money in bad, and he's gone all-in - and you think to yourself:
"Wow, I've got a really good hand, but he's at an advantage because I'm on such a hot streak against him, I better fold..."

It's such fucking stupid thinking. These are independent events, and the past results have 0 bearing on any future results. How many times do I have to say it?

But this isn't "giving away money"

The analogy falls apart right there.

Well, a handicapping contest is what this is essentially. It's meant to determine who the better handicapper is. That's really the bet right?

I'm going to beat him soundly for the season and he may beat me in the 2nd half. And I will lose the bet.

No chance I'm making a bet like that. It wouldn't make sense for me to do so.

not even close to the same thing. Has nothing to do with what I'm saying

This isn't a "stupid bet" and you can't grasp it because you have the IQ of a turnip.

I do rather love the idea that mr. millionaire here is now this big financially conservative poster. After bragging about the "thousands in verified bets" lie, no less.

Don't worry stupid, you can't face the contradictions here because more of your silly, dumb lies are falling apart. You have an actual psychosis that is evident as you are compelled to try and convince strangers on the Internet you're some big, winning gambler when the exact opposite is true.

I can't even fathom how fucking sad your life really is.
