Sunday 9-6

Purdue +7

CFL: Saskatchewan - 4 1/2

Love a pick 6 with less than a minute to go after leading the whole game. If it was my son's youth league I would still get a trophy, no one loses.

1-1 (10)
ytd 5-7 (270)

Also note in this thread Canadian football doesn't count ;-)

-3 Unit 'bounceback' for me yesterday in MLB, naturally. Now -$788 in MLB threads combined, and 5-8 in Football.

Playoffs record
Regular Season: 4-4
Units: +3 units
Bank: $375

I have my own thread on here and would like to prove I can find the value. I love the idea of sharing strategy as I'm sure you all put a lot of time into picking games as it requires. I know everybody has ther own way and different ideas can certainly help. I am new and look to get in on the competition to better myself and prove my past track record. I started with $40 and made it $1500. I want to show you and see what I can do on here. Where do you all post your daily picks? Thank you for your time. Your feedback is appreciated. Good luck, Rojo.

Welcome Rojo. This thread is continuous. You post your plays here daily and maintain your own records, based on $100 per play or however you want to do it. I use a W/L record for Football and Hoops, and a dollar structure for MLB, risking 100 on Dogs and betting Faves to win 100. I find this to be the easiest method. All my plays are rated equally. Occasionally I'll go to 1.5 or 2 Units, and those I will specify. You can begin posting in this thread immediately, and we'll leave it up to you whether you want to carry your previous record or start at 0-0 in here.

Also, if you want to include reasons or writeups with your plays it is most welcome. I'd do it for every game if time permitted. And if you have a question about another poster's handicapping methods, or any capping questions or methods to share feel free. Anything is welcome in here except personal arguments.. Good Luck!

After an 0-7 Thursday-Friday start this Angle came on strong to finish`12-10 after a 12-3 ATS Saturday. But it wasn't the -11 to -22 that helped it out; it was the Favorites of 22 or more on Saturday. They went 8-0!

Cleaning it up:
Ohio St takes it to 13-10, 6-7 at - 11-22
This System was 14-7 last year. At -11-22 it went 206 the last 2 years before the 6-7 above.
8 year record Week A Favorites of 11 or more now = 120-85. I wouldn't exactly call this method a roaring succes$ this year, only because it opened with 7 Losses on Thursday-Friday before recovering. But I'll maintain and follow next year, as well as maintain for -22 or higher whivch went 8-0 on Saturday (0-2 Thurs-Fri).

In MLB Sunday I didn't post every game but I was 0 for the board. Yesterday I had every game correct. Shame I only posted 2. +310 = -$4.78.

Gotta shrug those bad days off, Scott and keep believing. But I'm sure you know that. Easier said than done.

Tuesday MLB = WAS -110 / SF +105 / TAM -115 / CWS +125

Post above should read "20-6" instead of "206"

Yesterday 2 of my teams decided to derail my 4-0, $430 gain by blowing 6 and 4 Run leads, reducing the win to a can of dog food. Now -$473 in MLB.

Afternoon Lid Lifter is STL -123. Their great Home Stats are getting clipped in this Series. Hopefully they won't blemish their 15 Wins in a row mark when trailing a Series 0-2, Home or Away.

Hi lads, sorry to barge in but as i read your picks, i noticed Michelangelo typing something like
2x NYY -1' +156
So i gathered it was 2 units on the Yankees with a handicap of 1 but i can't find this line of +156 anywhere. Am I missing something on the terminology ?
I'm not exactly a newbie, but i am far from being a sharp bettor of any kind.
I'm trying to follow the tracks of decent pickers on this forum with some (mitigated succes) and i'm back in the game after a long enough break (Life can play tricks the like of which you can never put odds on :D )

Thanks for your time lads.
Best regards.

Chaper welcome. It simply means Mich is giving up the Win if the Yanks only defeat BAL by a single Run in order to yield a greater return. IOW he is betting NYY at -1.5 Runs for 2 Units (risking 2X = 200 to cash a ticket that pays $312). The downside is if the Yanks win by 1 Run he would lose $200. The upside is he gets a bigger possible return. What has more value, NYY -135 on the Money Line, or NYY -1.5 Runs +156 is a matter of debate. Home Teams in MLB often Win by a single Run. Ask the scammer tout Al Demarco. He gives out favorites -1.5 Runs that 'win' 2-1 and 3-2 all the time :):)
