Looking at RT's chart, I found it interesting that Indiana produces more 3-4-5 star players than Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin combined. Granted Indiana has more than one FBS team where the others don't, still a shocker to me.

Another surprise to me was Florida producing more than California.

Why is Idaho and New Mexico in Division I football???

Population?

Your typical Oregon mentality for a big game. After all, they allowed Auburn to drive 73 yards and kick the winning FG with no time left to beat them in the 2011 NC game.

Funny you should bring up that 73 yard drive leading to the winning field goal.
Michael Dyer's right knee touched down before he straightened his leg but he
looked as if he had been tackled the same way 1000 times before that. The
replay shows that is what happened but only one camera view showed it. That
view was shown only once near the beginning of the replay process. The fact
is that Dyer was down but the officials let it go since that narrow view of Dyer's
knee could not be seen from only one angle. But even the official with the best
view acted as though the play was over. You can see him running towards the
spot where the play ended.

That's how the Ducks were beaten.

Now as far as your comments about the Holiday Bowl are concerned, that is so fantastically stupid that you should not be allowed to crap in the same State that I am in, much less anything else. Oregon's record in the Holiday Bowl is 2-1. Their overall bowl record is 13-16. You are so bad that I would not allow my dog to listen to you. Stop making sh** up. I have forgotten more about College Football than you have ever known. You are the idiot that thinks that Oregon will win a NC. They WILL NOT. You will die and go to wherever you end up and Oregon will still not own a NC. Now I expect you to own up the fact that Oregon got it's arse kicked up one end of the field and down the other last season in their debacle against Ohio State. Do not pull a Red Eye and try to make up excuses for Oregon, while you claim to have wagered on Ohio State. I know that you like to think that you are a gambler, but you are not. I will ask you this question anyways. Would you take USC and 6 1/2 points -110 (the REAL line) against Oregon this season? Apparently your girl friend thinks that all USC needs is 5 points. That is what he took (-120 to boot).

You should be ashamed of yourself after the beating I put on you that season. I wound up picking 67% - 68% winning selections and cleaned your pitiful clock mercilessly while you wasted everyone's time posting nothing but moneyline chalk. You talk a big talk but you lack guts. I have yet to see you prove otherwise.

You are not qualified to post in any thread of mine if you can't even put up 50% winning plays. Facts are facts whether or not you choose to delete them from the real story.
You think you have class but you don't. You can't even answer to something as obvious as the showing you put up against my picks even though they remain on the record here.
You are all vapor and no substance. Where your dog takes a shit is the best thing you have going for yourself.

So what if the Ducks only lost once instead of twice in the Holiday bowl? I can think of a lot of ways using records is more accurate than recalling from memory. Again you have proven nothing, but if you can't see how Oregon has progressed as a football program, then you will always be blind whether they recruit 9 4* players or 19 of them. Your denial of the truth makes you look stupid. There's plenty of room under that bus with a space reserved for Sarkisian. You'll be joining him there pretty soon. It's simple for anyone to see if they know where to look and they aren't blind like you. All of your huffing and puffing just makes you sound like the big bad wolf, but when it comes right down to it, you are nothing more than a loud-mouth chihuahua. You prove as much with every gutless prediction you dare to make. You are the quintessential keyboard cowboy.

By the time these 2 get around to playing these games, they might be rescheduled as an intradivisional pair of games in the Pac-16 (???)

Oklahoma State, Oregon State agree to home-and-home series

Brett McMurphy
ESPN Reporter

Oklahoma State and Oregon State have agreed to a home-and-home series to open the 2019 and 2020 seasons, sources told ESPN.com. Oklahoma State will visit Oregon State on Aug. 31, 2019, with the Beavers visiting the Cowboys on Sept. 5, 2020. It will be the first meetings between the schools.

The Oregon State series will be Oklahoma State's first against a Pac-12 school since splitting two games against Arizona in 2011 and 2012. This will be Oregon State's first home and home series with a Big 12 opponent since playing Baylor in 1996 and 1998. Oregon State's last meeting with a Big 12 opponent was in the 2012 Alamo Bowl, a 31-27 loss to Texas.

HOMER ALERT

This will be Todd Graham's best team since he has been in Tempe. He's done a great job on many fronts since the first day he took over. I'm excited to see what he can do with all this talent.

The Pac12 South is gonna be exciting football this year. LOADED.

Yesterday I just happened to watch a replay of last seasons Cactus Bowl... Okie lite vs UDub.

It's unavoidable to notice how butt ugly OSU's uniforms are compared to the slick uniforms UDub was wearing, The Cowboys should not have been allowed on the field. They were that ugly. Of course the game itself was the total opposite. Where OSU was the only team that showed up to play, UDub never really showed up at all. Neither of them should have been allowed to take the field. The Cactus bowl needed to be cancelled.

My Pac-12 rankings 2 weeks prior to fall camp

Things could change but not a lot.

Oregon
ASU
UCLA
Stanford
Arizona
USC
Utah
Cal
OS
WSU
UW
COL

I'll be happy to discuss.
Expect this...

ASU has it all but not quite enough to rise to the top, but close. Will likely win the South.
Stanford's Kevin Hogan will come out smokin'. Their defense MUST not allow too many rushing yards to stay in it from the start. Offense is much better than people give them credit for.
Cal won't be a major factor but might win "The Game" this time around... or make it close enough to cost the Cardinal in the rankings.
Arizona will impress more than they have in the past but won't beat Oregon for the 3rd straight year.
USC's passing game will determine how well they are able to stay above the fray. Defense is the key to all their hopes. I expect Kessler to be in the running for the Heisman.
Utah the sleeper of them all. Watch out for Devontae Booker who should be in the Pac's top 3 in Heisman voting. Likely the top RB in the conference but Oregon's Royce Freeman could have a break out sophomore season and change a lot of things. Freeman/Tyner is probably the top RB tandem in the country.
Oregon State will surprise a lot of folks. Gary Andersen will toughen up their rushing game big time. Pretty good QB to take over for Mannion. Could prove to be very good.
WSU shows up with a viable running game. You heard it here first.
UW will keep it close but won't be able to finish teams off. No depth to speak of.
Colorado needs improvement across the board but could be this year's most improved team. I really like their coach.

Conan, call me an old southern country hick with little knowledge of the Pac Conference. Arizona State above UCLA and Stanford got my attention...but Arizona State rated higher than Arizona. Can't see it my friend.

I truly value your view/take/opinion on happenings out on the west coast. Help me out Bud.

Conan, we all know about you. We all know about you being a known plagiarist who has been run out of more than one site. You always disappear every time Oregon get's defeated. You use a non-existent business as your excuse. Well this year I am going to prove to everyone just how big of a Chicken S**t you really are. We are going to start with the Oregon-Michigan State game. Let's see where you really stand. Are you man enough to come out and say that Oregon is the better team, or do you have to play chicken s**t games like your lover Red Eye does and wager on Oregon's opponent in case Oregon loses so you can have an excuse. I believe that Oregon loses the game at Michigan State and at least one other game. Whether or not they win the Pac 12 Championship, Oregon, with two losses, does NOT make the Playoffs. That is my prediction as of now. Care to make a prediction?

red, I am going to kick your worthless tail this season. I am going to give you some real cause to consider ending it all. Let's face it. You are worthless. You brag about Oregon, but wager against them if you think they may be in a tough game. Worse than that, you expect knowledgeable gamblers to believe you. You took USC +5 -120 against Oregon, yet you think that Oregon is he greatest thing since legalized pot, which you are obviously on. You are a joke. A lying joke. Now I will ask you the same question that I asked your lover Conan. I believe that Michigan State will defeat Oregon and that a two loss Oregon will NOT be in the playoffs no matter where they finish in the Pac 12 race. Care to comment before I really start to kick your worthless tail? Start talking boy. And keep running. You KNOW what you have coming to you.

He's not going out on a limb there. Most experts, including those in Las Vegas agree with him.

ASU returns almost their entire defense (9 of the 11). They are loaded on offense. They had so much talent at the RB position, they were able to move their best RB and playmaker DJ Foster to wide receiver.

Bercovici proved how talented he is in the few games he played for the injured Kelly last season. He's been in Norvell's system for years now. Graham says he's had the best offseason of any QB he's coached.

What a complete crock. If you can't tell by now that after 17 years on this site and the numbers my threads generate, people do read my posts... and yet you imply that they are all fake and you disregard my insights, and I'm doing the plagiarizing? Let's back up for a minute... You think I am the one doing the plagiarizing? I've told you this before and you can believe it or do what you usually do with the truth, bury it and try to forget it... or for a change try something your infantile mind might find viable, take it for face value... I have been a professional writer for more than 25 years. The fact that you can't tell is a testament to your grievous personality and your stupidity.

One reason why I am far more successful than you are is because I choose to make my predictions on a week to week basis with all the data available at my disposal, unlike you with your broken crystal ball that has never worked. You think sports betting should be played like a roll of the dice. You leave too much to chance. I deal with intimate facts about the teams and coaches/players involved WHEN the facts are most relevant closer to kickoff. You don't understand the future as well as you would have people believe. That's why you are a loser here and probably elsewhere when you are true to form. That is why I reject your worthless challenge. It's a waste of time but it's closer to a 50/50 prop which is the only way you can beat me... or on the craps table... same thing. This is sports betting where I see a well laid out strategy as providing a serious player with a big edge... if he can level with himself and do the tough thing which is abandoning old logic and other things that don't work. That is why you are as bad as you are, because leveling with yourself is perhaps your biggest weakness, you remind me of a lousy cop.

Don't get me wrong clover, I love what RR has done with the Wildcats. I just think that Graham has that team of his on a roll and we haven't seen the end of it.

can't find the original quote on indiana having more 3 star and up HS players than wisc/neb/minn combined.

as per nfl players, it goes 20 for indiana.... 22 for wisconsin, minnesota 11, nebraska 9... has wisconsin HS really come on the last 15 years with success of badgers? gets more kids taking younger football more seriously.

florida over california is interesting..... although i would say LA is the hotbed, not the rest of the state (sorry san fran and sacramento... oakland is smaller place)...... florida is entire state as is texas to large degree.........

one thing you can always look at is afro-american population and adjust it for the fact that tons of afro-americans in illinois and new york never play much football.

semi-racist question, but i'd love to nfl players broken down by race and state. or maybe QB/OL by state (that would take care of most white players and pick up a fair number of blacks too)
